No worries, however, as almost everything has been kept the same with a few new menu additions. The restaurant is south of Lake Avenue on the east side of J street. There's parking out front. The restaurant is small. They do a lot of takeout and pickup. But there are two 2-top tables inside plus a counter with a few seats should you wish to "dine in" as we did. And there two-top table outside, as well. The two guys working when we came for lunch were both so very nice. And personable. I got a traditional 8 inch sub sandwich with one meat and one cheese. I selected salami and provolone and spicy brown mustard. I added lettuce, green peppers, and cucumbers. And got pickles on the side. My husband chose the 12 inch sub with two meats and a cheese. He selected roast beef and prosciutto plus cheddar. He added tomatoes and onions. He tried their spicy contraband sauce and liked it, too. He brought half his sub home for dinner. They offer many specials and combos, including a special sub of the day. There are so many way they can customize your choices. They also have a soup of the day. The corn and shrimp chowder offered on the weekends sounds appealing. We know we will be back when next craving a sub.

Friend and I got cocktails and a couple of sides.. everything tasted great... esp the brussel sprouts . Upstairs is a loungy speak easy vibe , with artwork, plenty of seating, and a Dj doing some awesome spinning. Downstairs is the restaurant and another bar with a very welcoming atmosphere. Definitely a gem in Lake Worth.

Given the…read moreexquisite ambiance, drinks, and menu; I decided I would take her with me on Friday to give this place a shot! Going in, the restaurant had a beautiful vinyl speakeasy miami style esthetic to it and had classic smooth hits playing in the background. For dinner tonight we ordered 1x Jerk cubano with seasoned fries and 1x roasted salmon with a side order of the roasted Brussels sprouts. Moving on with my review, the food tonight was very tasty, but I feel there is room for some tweaks/improvement. The Jerk Cuban bread was perfectly pillowy yet crispy, and the mojo pork was incredibly tender, flavorful, and moist. However, given the high price tag, the sandwich felt a bit flat and could use more of the shredded pork. The fries were nicely crispy, and the seasoning had this swicy brown sugar jerk flavor to it. The Roasted Salmon had been soft and flakely in the inside while the skin was nicely crisped. I enjoyed the brightness of the fennel and the butter sauce, but I believe some lemon would've added some great acidity and brightness needed in the dish. The Brussels sprouts had a nice char and came with an addictive, creamy aioli. They were however a tad bitter and a bit too al dente for my taste, but I still really enjoyed them. Moreover, the service tonight was very friendly and attentive. Overall, despite my critiques, we did enjoy dinner and definitely the atmosphere. My final verdict for Off the Clock for now is 4/5 stars!

This was a lovely lunch experience. Even though Linda, owner, was on her own serving as barista,…read morechef, and waiter, as her partner was out on a delivery, we still had a chance to chat. We learned about the restaurant being named for her mom (No, it doesn't mean gold). The restaurant faces the south side of the street in a strip next to the smoke shop. Parking is in a lot a couple doors west. Look for the umbrella table outside. The street numbers jump from 500 to 426 in one storefront. Inside, it's charmingly decorated. The dates on the walls refer to different relatives birth years. We started with drinks. I got an iced decaf coffee. I had my choice of 3 milks. He had an iced chai latte. He said it didn't need any added sugar. Both were very good. For food, I ordered their burger. It was cooked to temp as requested. The patty topped with lettuce, tomato and cheese. It was good. Alongside came crispy chips and a small bowl of their special (addictive) Le Dor sauce -- a mix of cheese and burger jus. My husband had their chicken salad sandwich on a croissant. The salad had nice chunks of chicken along with raisins, avocado, spicy mayo (just a touch of a kick), and lettuce. There were grapes and an orange, too, on the plate. He said it was wonderful. The menu is small, but prepared to look good as well as taste delicious. They offer special pasta nights. Call for info and reservations for these events. We were too full, but the almond croissants and other pastries looked appealing. Ask what they have when you drop by. We hope we can return soon.

The chicken sandwich didn't disappoint. It is flavorful and very well presented. The green juice is refreshing and freshly done. My son had a strawberry smoothie and he said it was amazing. They keep topping his glass! Would highly recommend you give them a try.
