I love this place. It's not the ice cream shop yet but getting there is part of the experience, the drive through Manalapan is really scenic with beautiful trees, flowers, and some amazing homes along the way. It's located in a shopping plaza that used to be a bit larger before some stores closed and a Publix was added, but it's still a nice plaza with some unique shops. The Ice Cream Club itself is on the smaller side, but the ice cream is outstanding. It is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. On this visit, I had a hot fudge sundae with their garbage can ice cream, which is vanilla ice cream loaded with ground peanuts and chunks of different candy bars. It was so good. I was also tempted to try the Heavenly Hash and the chocolate moose track, both looked really rich and chocolatey. If I had just gone with a cone, I probably would have picked one of those. I've been here several times over the years and have never had a bad choice. It's one of those places I keep coming back to. 5 stars as always here.

I ordered their classic vanilla shake, and my husband requested their strawberry shake. They come in two sizes, and we got the smaller one. We got them to go. My husband's strawberry was the prettier of the two, with extra strawberry syrup on the bottom and top. But I liked my vanilla shake the best. The ice cream was rich and creamy.
