Staff is super helpful & friendly. My boyfriend was looking for a board & bindings. Being new to boarding he had a few questions, they were super nice. Very knowledgeable with a lot of different boards, offering a few different options, based on riding style & ability. Left w an awesome board & bindings & a great package deal! I was also looking for new bindings, they didn't have my size, but they were able to order them for me. Want great custom service from experienced riders? Milo is the shop! Thanks Jason, Kailee & Mike- we will see you again soon! read more

More people should know this store! Great customer service and vibe! This is a nice and small local snow and skate store in the town. We came from Davis and did quite a lot of research before deciding to stop by here. Although the store was packed on the day we went to rent the snowboard gears but the staffs were patient and friendly. Also, you can't beat the snowboard rental price in the area. It's only 25!! Including the board, boots, and bindings! Would definitely recommend to friends and family read more

Milo Snow and Skate - Ski & Snowboard Shops Near Me - Auburn, California

Milos is so knowledgeable, helpful, fun and kind. Their knowledge of snowboards is exceptional and since I have none was in great hands. First to went to a different store, no need to mention name. but basically a saleperson with limited knowledge and had a completely different experience at Milos.Bought an entire package board, bindings, boots and a travel bag and they gave me two tshirts for free. They also have some great clothes, snow gear and bought two really cute Columbia womens fleece pullovers. Went back to have snowboard waxed and first one is free how cool is that! Highly highly recommend let's keep it local with the real experts! read more

I just bought $330 boots. The next day when I used them, the boa system locked up on me and it was extremely hard to take off my boot. Went in the next day. Was helped by Jason the day before. He was there again thankfully. He just swapped the boots out for me. I was super grateful! Love this place, come here for all my snow needs. read more

I bought a board here online and I didn't even receive the board because it said i canceled the order even tho I didn't and I didn't receive my money back read more

I've been to quite a few local board shops and I have to say Milo is one of my favorites. The staff members that I've talked to (Jason and Levi) are really knowledgeable about the gear that they have and really go out of their way if you have a certain need, request or question. I was looking into a new snowboard for next season and was really pleased at the fact that they have a preorder system as well as some bindings that at 99% of retailers are sold out. Really makes getting my hands on certain gear pieces a lot easier. They also have some rad unique hydroflasks in for a limited time. Definitely worth checking out, support a local board shop read more

I've been here a couple of times in the last 2 weeks to rent some gear and wax my snowboards. Great service and great prices. I highly recommend. read more

Somehow they always have what you are looking for in terms of snow sports... they always do a good job on waxing my skies.

First time here due to receiving a gift certificate and was sure glad we got one as I was blown away at how nice clean And friendly of a skate/snow shop this was and yet I've never been in yet. The prices we marked fair as well unlike some small shops that tend to mark up. This shop Was priced just right if not better than the mall. They had a Nice variety of shoes carrying many popular name brands. A clearance rack (my favorite) and of course the very affordable build a board where they assemble for you. No need to head down the hill everything we needed was right there and plenty of parking in back too. The friendly staff was simply a bonus and they offer a rewards program where we already earned $7 bucks back after our first visit. read more

Great store, upbeat vibe, fabulous inventory, very friendly staff. I enjoyed everything about it, except the intense mask mandates. I give them a 5 star because they deserve it, but I do appreciate the stores on our area that allow citizens to be at choice around their health decisions. There is no statistical data after months of mask wearing confirming their efficacy, and there is actually data in the opposite revealing these muzzles are useless. read more

It was my first time in the shop today and what great customer service. From the moment I called to see if they had the 156 Orca I wanted to walking out the door with board and bindings in hand I was just amazed with this company. The knowledge and kindness of all the staff and complete understanding of the products sweet. If i could give them 10 stars I would not have hesitated for moment. Great place and I will recommend them to everyone I know. Thank you Chris Bratsch read more

I was a fan of the shop as soon as I stepped foot in it around 9 years ago. They were in Lafayette back then. George and Jason are so cool and their customer service is amazing. The vibe of the shop is so chill. Although they moved I still like to support through online purchases. They have such cool stuff. Heading up to the snow? Stop by here first for all your snow gear. They have everything like snow gear, skate gear, clothes, shoes, bags, socks and a whole lot more! read more

Milos is awesome. Everyone who works there is super helpful and friendly. I have been to a few board stores down the hill and I would way rather shop at our local Milos. The staff is way better and the prices are good. They will totally hook you up. And if they don't have what you want, they will order it for you! My 13 year old is thoroughly enjoying his set up. He got his Christmas present a little early so he could hit up the slopes! Hit Milos up! read more

A huge thank you to the owner Jason for hooking us up with an incredible snowboard package for my son. We initially rented equipment from them and my son liked their equipment so much that he decided to purchase it from their store. Jason was extremely friendly and provided us with an incredible shopping experience for a family that knows nothing about snowboarding. I will recommend Jason and my Mili Snow and Skate to all my friends for any future ski equipment purchases. read more

Milo auburn is the ONLY snow and skate location to stop at. I use to shop there when they were located in Lafayette and now it's easy to get to when I head to Tahoe this winter. I stopped by on the opening around the 4th of July and the staff was friendly as always. They had a great selection of skateboard gear and I even picked up a new deck. I for sure will be back this winter to snag a few items on my way to Tahoe. read more

Milosport is a skate and snowboard shop for people who skate and snowboard! I have been shopping here since they opened their first Northern California store in Lafayette in the late 90's and although I moved to Colorado in 2003, I make a stop back there on my way home from the airport every Christmas (before I go home!)! Jason and George and rest of the staff knows their stuff! They have an awesome selection for men, women and kiddos -- and their snowboard and skateboard collection has something for everyone! Personally, I bought my first and second snowboards there, my first car had a pink "milo" sticker on it, I get set up my dad with a board wax in just a phone call, I can order anything to be shipped out to CO (for my little dose of California love!), and they sell really cute women's stuff!! (think burton, volcom, dakine, sanuk, rvca...) If you haven't been to Milo, GO THERE, check it out, and I bet you'll be able to talk yourself into some rad apparel or gear! read more

BEST spot for snow gear. Skate gear too! Tons of rad clothes & they've really upped the women's section. SO many cute things to wear!

We've always done our best to support Milo and today's shopping experience proved why. My son received a $50 gift certificate for Christmas and wanted a new skateboard helmet. After ringing it up and realizing he had a couple dollars left over he started picking out some stickers and pins. Being a typical 10 year old he went a little overboard and exceeded his gift card limit but before he got too bummed, Justin who was helping us, told him not to worry and that he'd make it work. We left super stoked and even more committed to support local. Thanks Justin and Milo team! read more

I was greeted immediately by George as he was adding shelf space to house the newly arrived 2015/16 snowboards. Great selection of guys and girls clothing, shoes & accessories with new stuff arriving daily. Huge skate wall. Jason educated me on the latest sunglass lens tech that Oakley has developed. Picked up a pair of sunglasses, several shirts and they hooked me up with some free Milo stickers. Great shop for the town of Auburn. Convenient location for a pit stop on your way up the mountains on HWY 80 in summer or winter. Looking forward to a big winter and this will be my one stop for all the latest gear. Friendly, knowledgeable and experienced staff. read more

Can't speak to skate, but they're a great snowboard shop. Carry some really cool niche snowboard gear. Really friendly, knowledgeable staff. Bummed they left the Bay Area, but they're in a better place now and thriving. Pretty much the only decent snowboard shop I know of west of Tahoe. read more

I was really sad when boards in motion closed in Auburn but now I don't care because Milo is open. They have a really cool selection of clothing in a really good variety of brands from shoes to sunglasses to T-shirts and a ton of women's stuff too. This is an amazing boardshop. You don't find too many good ones like this anymore. Great brands, fantastic selection. Was passing through Auburn and we stopped off when I saw their sign. I am in the market for new snowboard gear so I thought I'd stop in. Jason helped me out and he's just an all around cool guy. It was great to work with him because you don't see good people like him too often when you need help. He knows his stuff and he had me convinced on this new pair of boots, which I picked up. I will be back to buy more gear. In conversation I found out they moved here from the Bay to open up this new location. Great to have them in the area and happy to support them read more
