We got a pecan pie from here during the holidays and it was absolutely amazing! They use maple syrup rather than HFC syrup (which we really don't mind) but it produced a wonderful pie! Everyone who works here is very very friendly and helpful. The food is all very fresh and I have enjoyed everything that I have eaten there. Because of this great experience there, we decided to order rolls and a pie for Thanksgiving. The rolls were fantastic, the chocolate pie, not so much. The pies are about $15-$17 and taste wise, was not up to the same yumminess as their other baked goods. Just lacked flavor. The crust was flakey but bland. For this reason, I give 4 stars. Would recommend everything as others have but would recommend passing on the pie. read more

The Brussels waffle, available on the weekend, is simply amazing! After having it, I won't even consider having one anywhere else. The waffle is light, crispy, and tasty. Be sure to order it with their amazing pourable Belgian chocolate and whipped cream - so yummmmy! They also sell homemade loaves of bread including their multi-grain which is fantastic. There are no preservatives or fillers in the bread, and it freezes well. And, my oh my, the eclairs and croissants are to die for. read more

Their pan au chocolat is incredible! As are their baguettes, Irish soda bread and almond croissants. I'm not a huge fan of their cupcakes but I'm super picky with cake. On the door of this bakery it says "People on Yelp love us". Encouraging right? This is what I get for cheating on Panera. I read about the awesome Almond croissants and I wanted to try them. I get there at 8:45; they open at 8:30. I order the almond croissant and large coffee. The coffee is self serve, which is good. I'm assuming I can mix Decaf and dark roast. Wrong. They have one coffee urn, the coffee is not hot and it is see through. I ask the young lady at the counter, do you have a dark roast, this is to light. She says I can make you an Espresso. I say ok. I get the Espresso, but no croissant. I ask the young lady for the croissant, she said she, indicating someone in the back, is warming it up. She brings it to the table and it is not warm, not even a little bit. I eat it anyway and enjoy the Espresso. When the young lady comes over to take away my plate she tells me that the espresso is one dollar more. It feels like a scam. Have substandard coffee that is not strong enough for a toddler so that the customer is forced to buy a more expensive drink. The owner/manager knew that I asked for stronger coffee, she came out and made the Espresso, but never offered an apology nor did she offer to just make a stronger pot of coffee. They could have eaten the one dollar. Good customer service goes a long way. read more

Went in recently for lunch. Co-worker raved about it and recommended that I give it a try. The sandwich that I ordered was absolutely delicious. I've never had better bread in my life! Also got a cup of soup, tomato basil, and it was equally wonderful. However, here is where I had to take a star off. Granted I went in around lunch time, and expected a line, the service was not the best. The young ladies and even the man (who seemed to be in charge) behind the counter seemed very unorganized and scattered. While they were all very polite, they all seemed very inexperienced. While I'm definitely going to give them another try, I hope that they bring their service on par with their food. read more

These are by far the best croissants that I have tasted in the US. I stop in every Friday for my fix with the almond croissant being one of my favorites. The owner is from Belgium and it is reflected in the quality and care to deliver such quality bake goods. Best birthday cake EVER! The pastry chef did a beautiful job decorating the cake, so much so that I thought the taste would be sacrificed...but, it was DELICIOUS. I was able to choose from a variety of flavors and had one layer of chocolate and one of wedding cake: moist and amazing. The breads are made fresh without preservatives. The sandwiches are made-to-order. The tomato basil soup and cream of mushroom soup are wonderful. An added bonus: it's owned by a Plano family... so great to have inventive meals and pastries instead of something from the many chains around town. read more

We just got back from a trip to Durango, CO that had an amazing bakery around the corner. This prompted my husband and I to search out a local bakery. Yelp led us here. This place was pretty spectacular. We each had a ham and cheese croissant. They were super flaky and delicious. My husband had a cinnamon roll that he enjoyed as well. We brought home a loaf of multigrain bread that we will lunch on throughout the week. Great hidden gem. The employees were nice and let us know everything was made from scratch. This is as good as it gets! I got there around 10 a.m. with the intentions of bringing some pastries home. When I got there I noticed the soup was out and asked if it was too early to order a combo. The sweet young lady at the register assured me it was fine. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and mushroom soup. The soup was delicious, not too creamy and loaded with mushrooms. The chicken salad seemed simple enough, no extras such as celery and onions, but delicious! While enjoying my early lunch, the owner came over to chat and told me about the extra effort they put into making everything from scratch, as well as making everything fresh DAILY! He mentioned that they never sell anything that is day old, it's always freshly made, which is very apparent. I brought home two éclairs, and OMG, I can honestly say I've never had anything like it, the chocolate on top is out of this world. I also got an almond croissant and a chocolate croissant. I wanted to "taste" each one and I will tell you, it was hard to put them down, even though I was stuffed beyond comfort. I have not tried the cinnamon rolls yet, but they look amazing. Fantastic all around! Friendly staff, fresh food, and a light and healthy taste. The bread is amazing - soft and fresh so if you want something in particular, call in advance to see if they have it or so they can make it for you. Unique sandwiches with fine ingredients from real crab to brie cheese to fresh veggies. The cookie I had was on the crunchy side but I like crunchy (just FYI for the chewy cookie lovers) and great flavor. I look forward to trying other menu items and coffee drinks. read more
