What an amazing bakery. While I am not vegan myself their food is top tier. The pastry selection is wonderful and you would never know they are vegan products. The owners are usually there working and have created a welcoming environment for all. I have also attended their holiday market they put on and they really love to pull cool vendors together and create a fun experience for the families. I was surprised by my family with a cake from Reverie for my 34th birthday, and it was honestly the best gluten-free and vegan cake I've ever had. I had full access to the entire thing as a second cake was available to everyone else, and I had the entire thing finished off within 2 days because I really couldn't help myself. There were actually multiple textures of cream incorporated into the cake, and it lived up to being a wonderful tres leches even without having any leches! Very impressive. I stopped by on my way out of town to check out their other goodies, but they were understandably closed for the ice storm. Came here about a week ago to pick up some cupcakes for my mom's birthday & needed vegan (for me) and gluten free (for my sister). I was disappointed by the lack of options when I got there. Not sure if I just got there after the rush or what. Ended up taking most of the remaining chocolate cupcakes because that was all they had (for cupcakes). Amazing bakery!! I was so happy to find a vegan bakery near me, and this place didn't disappoint. There are tons of options, so I'll be back to try more things. The bakery was super busy, but the staff were friendly and efficient and made sure not to make anyone feel like they were being rushed. The best bakery around! We've had the treats in the case and custom cakes and we're always so impressed. I've gotten the Fauxtress more times than I can count - definitely a fan favorite and mine for sure. They take allergies seriously and ensure you're taken care of. Everyone is so kind and there's never been a treat I didn't love. The pop tart is my favorite and SO MUCH better than what you get in a grocery store. I can't recommend this place enough. Well, its been a while so i figured I'd update my past review. So, I've had a bakery in the past. So, i know a thing or two about a good treat; and Reverie has been my go-to for awhile...until recently. Reverie has always been my go-to for a sweet treat. The treats are usually good, thr service is as well. Even though, i love far from this location it has always been worth the drive to rely on this bakery for whatever tasty treats they baked for the day. Now as I mentioned reverie has always been a go-to to meet my dietary needs when I don't feel like cooking. However, there's just something about continually finding long blonde hair in my baked treats that I just DON'T like. It's something about eating someone's DNA that's just gag worthy for me. So, on my last visit my husband and I bought a ton of treats like we always do. As we were eating them ONCE AGAIN we found another hair baked in our food. This has happened in the past and we overlooked it (even though I usually don't). This time I just couldn't take it. So, we kindly spat out our treats, thre everything away and decided to never visit Reverie again. Now, I've come to realize that a lot if people don't care about hair in the their food. However, I do. If you're like me and think hair baked in your treats is DISGUSTING, you might want to pass on Reverie unless you're going to get coffee. read more

We were visiting family in Dallas and discovered this delicious bakery! Bonus points that it was plant-based and had LOTS of gluten free treats in the charming storefront. I bought a very good variety of things since I needed to bring dessert for a family event. Every thing looked delicious and I had a hard time narrowing down my selection. Service was quick, helpful and patient as I made my way down the counter. I went on a Saturday morning and there was a steady pace of customers coming in and out. This is an amazing vegan bakery. I'm gluten free and they had so many options for me! I don't eat dairy for I was excited to try the vegan turtle cheesecake which was really good, it was tangy and creamy. The service was good as well, they directed me to the gluten free option and gave me some recommendations. I was a bit surprised when I searched for bakeries to find a vegan one, and upon arrival I was even more surprised to find the little place packed. I did not mind waiting a bit, however, because the massive spread really required some thought. They had a few savory items, quite a lot of sweets, and some that were gluten-free on top of being vegan. I figured this was the perfect chance to try a kolache, a local specialty that is generally not vegetarian. They warmed it up in a microwave for me. It was a nice fluffy pastry with spices that made it taste breakfast-y. My strawberry chocolate dome cake, enjoyed later, was a fantastic mix of textures that definitely delivered on taste. The items here are so delicious you will be shocked. The sausage egg and cheeze breakfast sandwich is AMAZING, my non-vegan sister said it's the best she's ever had period. They were done and ready right on time. And whoa delicious. No one at the party knew they were vegan and I got asked numerous times where I ordered them from and when I said Reverie the response was shock that chocolate and vanilla cupcakes can taste that good vegan style. I cheated on my favorite vegan bakery in Philly for this cute little shop! I'll start with my faves first!: That GF strawberry donut is to die for. It's like a cake donut, a bit dense but so yummy. It crumbles in your mouth. I truly enjoyed stuffing this donut into my mouth while I was driving on I-35! Strawberry Pop tart! Ah, this on was one of my favorites! It really tasted like a traditional pop tart but it was way better and fresher! The crust was way more appealing. I did warm it up in the microwave and it just melted in my mouth! Black Bean Empanada! Love, love, LOVED! I loved thick crust and the filling was so tasty! Such a great treat! Veggie Dog Kolache - I liked this one a lot because it reminded me of the cheesy jalapeño pretzels that I used to get from Auntie Anne's before going dairy-free! Definitely warm it up before eating! Honey Chicken Biscuit - Biscuit was great, chicken was a bit average! You can tell they used a Morningstar or a soy based chicken. I would like to see them use a chicken that's a little more savory and crispy! Rice Crispy Treat - This was good! A little on the drier side but overall it tasted good! LOVE!! I used to come here after cross country with friends and it was also such a good experience. I'm not vegan or vegetarian but this place still taste good! I know with inflation everything has gone up, but this place has become so expensive. I also know almost all vegan food is pricey, I get it. I've been vegan for 7 years and I am not new to the prices but they're getting ridiculous. The taste has changed, imo it has gone down. The cupcakes have a chalk-y taste, especially the chocolate ones. The kolaches, they went up to $5 each. The taste is okay, but what gets me, they are doughy. I will say, their pies are delicious!
