I was excited to try a new bakery! I found it because I placed an order on the Too Good To Go app. With the app, you can purchase food that will be expiring at a discounted rate. It's a win-win because as a customer, you are able to try their goods at a great price and you also save food from going to the landfill. The food you receive is often a complete surprise, which adds to the fun! The first thing I noticed when I arrived was the delicious aroma! I was greeted by a friendly man that helped me with my order. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a giant piece of German chocolate cake with a plain chocolate frosting. Hubby and I were each able to enjoy two servings each. The cake slice was the equivalent of 4 cupcakes! It was moist and delicious and not overly sweet, just right! Meh, this place was nothing special, and broke one of my pet peeves about bakeries by having almost everything refrigerated. Also some of my it me I bought were not even fresh, like my cream puffs: I literally ate one and threw the rest away. The chocolate chip cookie we bought went straight in the trash after the first bite: the brownie was so hard from being refrigerated we had to struggle to eat it as well. I went there with a curiosity of this bakery is, I have to say, the cupcakes are large and when I asked for a specific flavor and they had but they don't touch until they decorated the box, I said okay and the price tag: $5! $5 for one cupcake!? I payed it anyway but it did tasted nice Soon after that, I tried to order a dinosaur and the person was very rude and said, what cake do you want? I said a vanilla dinosaur cake, the person said okay, I said how much is the cost, and wouldn't tell me, they said how do you want the cake designed, I said dinosaur and they were like how do you want the dinosaur, I said like Jurassic park and started laughing saying that's not a design!
