We decided to swing by to see what kind of pastries and sweets this bakery had to offer. The service was excellent - we got a free tasting of an awesome cake ball and she was so sweet in answering our questions. The macarons we ordered were amazing! The baklava was unique and had a different texture than what we are used to... but still good. I can't give them a five star rating because I haven't had a chance to custom order a cake or cupcakes... but the other reviews rave about them so I'll have to give them a try when I need to make a custom order.

I can say we just ate the best Persian rolls and sweet you could ever find in Dallas areas! Amazing taste! Friendly staff and professional service! It feels you are really tasting your grandma's tea and sweet! Very much enjoyed!

Cake was pretty and also delicious! I ordered Vanilla cake with fresh strawberry filling. Will be ordering from here for my next event.

I wanted to order a cake for my father's 90th birthday, but I live many states away, so I searched for a bakery with great reviews on Yelp. I found Grandma's Bakery and am very happy with their service. They were so helpful. We agreed on a design through text messages; I presented a few different designs, and we finalized a design very quickly. The cake was ready on time, and when I picked the cake up, the staff at Grandma's was exceptionally warm and friendly. The cake looked exactly like the photo, and the taste was exceptional. Family members remarked that it was the best-tasting cake they have had in the thirty-plus years they have lived in Dallas. I highly recommend Grandma's Bakery!

Grandmas' Bakery is simply amazing! As you walk in and immediately greeted with charming and smiley faces of owners; to the smell of all the freshly baked goods, it is simply a great experience. Grandmas' bakery is owned by an amazing couple who take great pride in their bake shop. They are friendly, kind, provide great customer service and always up for great chat. Variety of different cookies, pastries, cupcakes and cakes including their signature Persian pastries. Grandma's bakery is definitely the top stop for all my pastry needs specially satisfying my Persian pastry cravings. Their pastries are light, fluffy and not overly sweet. They also have couple of small tables available for tea and coffee. Give them a try and you will be a fan! and don't forget to try some of their Persian pastries :)

I ordered my daughter's birthday cake from Grandma's bakery. Let me start by saying how lovely and amazing the owner is. She went above and beyond by making sure that I get the cake I wanted to be exactly the same and the exactly the same taste I wanted for my munchkin. When I went to pick up her cake I got speechless when I saw the cake . The taste of the cake was amazing and I just want to say thank you so much We love going there and Im pretty sure you all will too .

My first time ordered birthday cake at Grandma's Bakery. I like it so much. The best birthday cake

Meh, this place was nothing special, and broke one of my pet peeves about bakeries by having almost everything refrigerated. Also some of my it me I bought were not even fresh, like my cream puffs: I literally ate one and threw the rest away. The chocolate chip cookie we bought went straight in the trash after the first bite: the brownie was so hard from being refrigerated we had to struggle to eat it as well. The service was good and that is what is holding them up to two stars.

Hot coffee, cocoa, and tea always ready!

Run by two talented and sweet grandmas, this place is a must try and retry! They offer unique sweets and treats with coffee or tea, custom cakes and cupcakes, and more. I tried their zucchini carrot cake and their ginger cake today and it was delicious! Their Persian baklava, cookies, and cream puffs I've had previously and they are a must! Perfect treats to take to a dinner party. Their custom cakes are adorable and the grandma who makes them is also a Wilton/michaels cake instructor so you know they're good! They open super early so it makes it super easy to stop by on your early morning commute and get some treats for yourself and the office along with your morning coffee. Definitely show these adorable grandmas some love!

The first thing I noticed was how beautiful everything is. The décor is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. And yes...those are real trees. That actually matters to me. I love restaurants with a beautiful aesthetic because it makes the whole experience feel special. Good food is wonderful, but good food in a beautiful space? That's even better. The menu is perfect if you're dining with friends because there are so many things to share. We ordered the traditional sampler, and it was such a fun way to try several Guatemalan dishes. Every plate that came out looked fresh, colorful, and made with care. The cheese pupusa was delicious, and the cotija cheese was the perfect finishing touch. Then there were the plantains. I actually stopped our server to ask, "Do y'all make the plantains from scratch?" They do. And it shows. They were fresh, perfectly cooked, and so good that I kept reaching for another one. Honestly, they may have been my favorite thing on the table. The steak was cooked exactly medium, had a great char, and was full of flavor. Portions were generous across the board, which is always a win because leftovers are basically tomorrow's gift to yourself. The spinach artichoke dip surprised me. If you're someone who genuinely loves spinach, you'll probably be very happy because spinach definitely got top billing in that relationship. It tasted incredibly fresh, and it made me realize I apparently prefer my artichokes to be just a little more competitive. The service was warm and welcoming all evening. I ordered a red sangria that never quite found its way to the table, but honestly, by the end of the meal I was so full that my stomach had already voted "maybe next time." One of my favorite parts of the evening was learning more about San Martín's history. Knowing it began in Guatemala and is especially known for its bakery and breakfast immediately put breakfast on my "I need to come back for this" list. By the end of the meal, we were full, happy, and already talking about what we'd order next time. That's usually the sign of a restaurant I'll happily recommend. Beautiful atmosphere. Fresh food. Generous portions. Outstanding plantains. I'd give San Martín a solid 9 out of 10, and I'm already looking forward to coming back.

And while we weren't planning to do much, the experience was still a 10/10! I ended up ordering a White Chocolate latte and it was AMAZING! You can tell they actually put time and effort into their coffee and lattes! Everything is also brewed fresh! Which I love! My friend ordered a artesian hot chocolate and wow! It was probably some of the best hot chocolate I have ever had! It was def made with real cocoa! We did end up splurging on some pastries, because DUH! It's it so hard to ignore the bakery section when it is so stunning and filled with beautiful baked goods! I got a oreo croissant and tortuga concha! I did not eat them (My bf did) but they looked so great! I did try my friends banana custard filled bread and that was great! I would go back for it! Overall, we ended up sitting inside of their beautiful space for hours, just talking and catching up! It was amazing and comfy! We def want to return for some of their dinner and drink specials too! Highly recommend!

For dessert, the chocolate kouign-amann was a total standout, super crispy on the outside with those rich, sweet layers inside. I paired it with an iced chai latte, which was perfectly spiced and not overly sweet. They have a small outdoor seating section that is perfect for catching some fresh air while you eat. SHOUT-OUT TO KRYSTAL!…read more My sister-in-law celebrated her 60th birthday today with a surprise party, and we had about 40 family members attend! We all arrived between 12:30-12:45, and the party started at 1:00. I have to take a moment to give credit where credit is SERIOUSLY due! Our waitress, Krystal, was absolutely AMAZING. And when I say she was doing EVERYTHING, I mean EVERYTHING! She was the only person serving us, while also having two other tables outside of our banquet room. Yes, our food took a while to come out -- but that was absolutely NOT Krystal's fault. She was working her butt off and doing everything she possibly could. She was attentive, constantly checking on our drinks, making sure everyone was taken care of, and paying attention to every little detail. It wasn't until toward the end of the party that I realized she had been handling this entire situation ALL BY HERSELF. She told me that the banquet hadn't even been put on the manager's calendar, so she basically got thrown into a party of 40 people at the last minute. And let me tell you something, KRYSTAL ROCKED THAT SH*T! Krystal, thank you so much for everything you did for my family today. You were kind, attentive, professional, and you never made us feel like we were a burden, even though you had been handed one hell of a situation. I personally hate Red Lobster and I don't even eat seafood, BUT my family will absolutely be coming back -- and I hope they come back specifically to see YOU! You did an incredible job, and I hope your management knows how valuable you are. KRYSTAL, YOU ARE AMAZING! Thank you for taking such great care of my family today! YAY KRYSTAL! YOU GO GIRL!
