    Nice day

Nothing too special about Milles except we were the only ones eating there. The pancakes were a bit rubbery, but the eggs were good. Deep Fried French toast was a little too greasy, but potatoes were hit. A mixed bag here.

Millie's had great breakfast. Burrito and chicken fry was delicious. Service was sweet and prompt.

Let Millie's Restaurant take you back in time. Located in historic Central CO where they don't have a gas station to their name according to the store owner across the street. Population of 700. There are 14 restaurants in town and Millie's is one of them. Located inside the second level of Easy Street Casino. The town of Central is 135 years old. They have six casinos that are open 24 hours. Back in the 1860s-1870s they were the richest mining city in CO. Central City rivaled Denver as the territory's cultural capital. ... In 1990 Colorado voters approved an amendment allowing the towns to have casinos. ( Blackhawk and Central). We had a very tasty simple breakfast in relative quiet but on our way out it was the mad rush for the late sleepers . I'd love to try their lunch and dinner soon! We had the ff: 3. Gamblers Special 4. Bonanza Burrito wrapped in a garlic flour tortilla .

Breakfast in the historic building is a must! $10 for a giant breakfast burrito smothered in green chili in a mountain town is unheard of, not to mention it's delicious. The decor is vintage as expected. Central city will forever be better than Blackhawk. Leave the big casinos for the tourists. Locals go to Central City

Very good is my experience. Came for breakfast and ordered the Gamblers special. Best deal on the menu and plenty of food. Everything else is around $10 or so. Cooks and wait staff are a bit thin right now, so plan on the extra 10-15 minutes for your meal to arrive. The place is clean and I could see each table and condiment being sanitized prior to new guests arriving. Overall, in Central City this is one of the few places to eat right now. Come and enjoy. You won't be disappointed. P.S. Generously tip the wait staff and say thank you. Heck, they showed up for work to serve you. A rarity these days.

Staying in Black Hawk and we were in need of brunch. This place is a hidden gem and it hit the spot. We were the only people eating in the restaurant which had an odd old feeling to it. Our waitress was very nice and since we were her only customers very attentive. There were four of us present and we each order a few items and everything came out good. I especially liked my deep-fried french toast. The prices were more than reasonable, our entire meal was about $25. I would def be returning here next time I am in the area.

Central city and Blackhawks best choice for food. This restaurant has an amazing friendly staff and Chef Jessica is full of culinarily talent! Her ability to combine flavors, spices , and ingredients is spot on. Her passion for cooking is really apparent in her soups. We have never been disappointed with her soups. Each time it has been a delicious Chef Jessica original! Prices are very reasonable and we highly recommend this place if you are in the area Thursday through Sundays 5 stars!!!

Miners Mazing Melt was a good portion, hot fries.

I had the miners mazing melt, husband had the chicken fried steak. Both were good. Atmosphere was quiet and good music, but it did get busy and there was only one waitress/hostess, so service was a little slow. My food was decent, hot, and good portion, same with my husband's. Was nothing super special but good food and portion for the price. Decent place for lunch.

Looking around Central City we spotted this quaint little place for breakfast. Delicious food at a great price. The gal who served us was friendly and welcoming. We liked this restaurant so much we went back the next day!

Believe it was called the Gamblers. Choice of links, patties or ham. Great price of $5 and change. Service was great and our group of three had our breakfasts cooked exactly as ordered. Will return on our next trip to the area

    Great green chile cheese fries!

They accommodated us walking in and some special dietary needs easily. The wine was very tasty and the food was good, but not phenomenal, especially given the price. For this price, Monarch Chophouse is equivalent and an experience that is in a different category (in the best way). It's a very quiet, intimate space, and I think they played the entirety of Sinatra's playlist! Good if you're there, but for a better local steakhouse for this price, I'd go with Monarch.

When we arrived without reservations they were still able to accommodate us and sit is in a booth. The restaurant wasn't full at all though, I don't know if I would expect to call for reservations. The place was clean and romantically lit. The servers were excellent. We ordered shrimp cocktail appetizer, a New York and a Fillet. Both paired with Lemon pepper Asparagus and baked potatoes. After ordering they brought us some rolls, this is where we were taken back. These were nothing but store bought Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, and they weren't even freshly bought. We passed on them, the shrimp cocktail was amazing so we have them a pass on the rolls. When the actual meal was served we found both the asparagus and baked potatoes were under cooked. Those this isn't difficult items to cook, we are the potatoes and passed on the asparagus. The steaks were less then par and very dry. They bring a side of gravy with them but this alone wasn't enough to make up for the tough dry steak. I know I am from Wyoming and will challenge anyone to compete with our states top steak houses, but I think I wouldn't compare this to the worst of them. It's about like eating warm jerky, even then I think there is more moisture in jerky. Never again. The service is the only reason they received 3 stars the meal is less than desirable, the price is definitely not reflective of anything but the price.
