It was pretty good, but a bit on the heavy side for me because I ordered the corned beef hash. Their muffin was dense, but the country style breakfast potatoes were seasoned well. Coffee is mediocre. IQ game is fun. read more

With three kids your time and patience is limited. Took 10 min To take drink order and 30 to bring food. Oh wait, THEY NEVER BROUGHT IT OUT! We walked out. Everyone else around us was being served. The staff and food is always excellent here. The best thing I had recently was the turkey and cranberry salad (seasonal). It also had blue cheese, Granny Smith apples and sweetened pecans with a lightly flavored honey mustard dressing. Extra delicious!! read more

Went to Millie"s for lunch today with friends. What a pleasant surprise we Had, starting with the staff. Armando asked us if we would like to sit in the other room which was a little quieter to sit and talk, which we appreciated. While seating us we mentioned to Armando we loved the music he was playing. After looking at the menu and asking the staffs input we each chose an Omelet, Chorrizo and eggs and chicken and waffles, topping off with crepes for dessert, delish. Armando, Jessica along with the others were very friendly and accommodating. We will be back. This was a nice family diner with a cute souvenir shop. read more

Food here is pretty good. The one closer to me closed up, but then this one was found. We were going to I-Hop down the road, but they were sooooo busy and didn't want to wait. Head north and on the left side of the road, you will find Millies. The portions are good sized and a good variety of foods. We just had breakfast here this morning. It is my sons fourth birthday and he had the best time . They brought him balloons for his chair and then had a candle on his pancakes and sang to him. The staff kept stopping by to wish him a happy birthday. It was more than what we expected and turned out perfect for my sons special day. We love this place and will continue going here. read more

The atmosphere is very relaxed and the service is quite good for a place of this caliber. I sugest getting the bottomless chicken tortilla soup or the appetizer quesadilla, which is actually a whole meal. The staff is very friendly, which adds to the charm of this place. read more

Me and my girlfriend decided to give it a try. Never again. There were people seated before us who came in after. First red flag. We finally get seated and the table was sticky as hell. I wiped it down myself and it was still sticky. 2nd red flag. We get our food and my sausage is still pink in the middle. And my french toast taste like fucking carrot cake and they were dark as shit. This establishment is dirty as hell and shouldn't be open. Been going here for years. But, this place is going down hill. The other day I went in to get breakfast and I ordered pancakes along with my meal. When I started to eat my pancakes I noticed it tasted sour! I was completely shocked. It was so bad I spit it out right on my plate. Super gross. Long story short according to the manager the milk used was expired. Needless to say they were not forth coming with information. Also, I noticed the old plastic cups are chipping and pieces and particles are most likely floating in the water. The worst part is the older waitress was very standoffish about the incident. Not apologetic or empathetic. She acted like I was going try to get a free meal out of it. Really bad form on her part. The last thing I will mention is over time I also noticed the tables are dirty and the waitresses and cleaning people routinely leave the coffee creamer bowls with empty used creamers. And one occasion a used napkin. I feel bad for writing this, because I used to love it there. Hopefully management steps in before this place closes down for good. read more

I have lived around the block from this establishment for years. I walk by daily and always see a lot of people inside. Tonight I walked by with my dogs and decided to place an order to go.. So I looked up their menu on-line and saw they offered a cobb salad for almost $11.00, ok I thought it's probably huge, there is a lot of stuff on the cobb salad (normally). So after my walk, I jumped in my vehicle and drove there. The Hostess was very nice and I paid $11.98 and browsed the pies, I waited for almost 15 minutes and the Hostess brought the standard white to-go box gave me a glance of the salad (I didnt have my glasses on) she closed the box up and I said you know what, may I please get a slice of the cheesecake, so she rang me up once again $6.53 and placed it in the same bag the salad was in. Well I get home and remove the cheesecake to find the salad feels super light!! I open it and there is your sliced egg, couple small strips of chicken breast, small black olives, crispy bacon (very good), bleu cheese crumbles, diced tomatoe, shredded carrots/cabbage and maybe JUST MAYBE A HANDFUL OF ROMAINE!!! I was like WOW REALLY!! I paid $12 Bucks for this?!!! Never again will I order a salad from here, with 12 dollars I could have made a cobb salad that would last me a week but I was a tad lazy and just felt like being pampered... LESSON LEARNED!!! I'm not knocking the quality nor the flavor but a 12 Dollar salad should leave one FULL AND NOT WANTING MORE!!! read more

My family received a $25.00 gift certificate for Millie's restaurant. We went to the Millie'srestaurant in Covina, closest to our home in Upland. We alerted the waitress about the gift certificate. When it was time to pay, we were told the certificate was not valid, because this was a privately owned restaurant and no longer part of the Millie's chain. You could have fooled me from the name on the building. What happened to franchise law? The establishment should have a name change, but the owner was kind enough to let us know we could use the certificate in Anaheim! Oh, ok, we'll drive the 40 miles next time. One of my favorite breakfast spots. Feels like an old school diner from the set up to the service. Everyone is polite and the food is good. One of the best treats you can do for yourself is just try ANY of the muffins behind the glass counter that are baked in-house. This is not the Millie's of years ago. I had the Pot Pie which had processed chicken loaf for meat; my wives steak would be better used for shoe leather and my daughter's meal was marginal at best. This was a Saturday evening, 6:00 pm, and the place was virtually empty; maybe 4 tables had customers; now I know why. The food was almost as bad as the service, which stunk, as our server left to go home half way through our meal. Won't ever be back again. Can't see what's keeping this place open. read more
