I can't believe they don't have 5 stars. I have tried half a dozen carpet cleaners in the area over the years, found a Groupon for Miller's a few months ago. I have 3 kids and 3 dogs so my carpets are bad. They came out on short notice, and on time and did such an amazing job! My whole house smelled so fresh, all the dark spots were GONE, carpet was soft and fluffy again. I just had them come out yesterday for the second time and am just as impressed. Ray was super awesome. He did a great job on our carpet, our roommates left the carpet in real bad shape and they deep cleaned and sanitized it and left it smelling soooo good. We knew it was going to be pricer from the start because of how bad the carpet was so honestly I thought it was still a really good price so we did both rooms. We set up an appointment and a window of time they would arrive and he was super friendly even my daughter waved bye when he was done and she's a super shy toddler lol. I am reviewing this company only on their customer service and what I feel to be "integrity" in the quote that was provided. We called and discussed our needs with Ray, the owner. My husband told him we had some high traffic carpet areas in two rooms that needed shampooed, stairs and wanted to have the grout cleaned in our tiled kitchen/dining room. Ray told my husband the price we should expect saying their may be some additional charges and scheduled our appointment for 10 am the following day. The next morning, I received a call just before 8 am from Vince telling me they were on the way and would be there in 30 minutes. He told me that if I didn't let them come now, they couldn't be there at 10 as I had expected, that it would be later in the day. What was the point of scheduling an appointment then? Vince arrived, and then immediately said the grout couldn't be cleaned because it had been cleaned improperly in the past. In my opinion, it appeared he didn't want to tackle the job since he didn't even walk around the kitchen to look at the tile. When Vince started writing up the quote, he nearly quadrupled the cost saying that the quote was for steam cleaning and their was a higher pricing for shampooing the "heavily soiled" carpet. My carpets have a few small areas where you can see a bit of traffic dirt, but they are far from being "heavily soiled." Needless to say - there was such disparity between what we expected after speaking to the owner and then having the "additional charges" they wanted to tack on... we didn't end up using this company. read more

Miller's Carpet Care for the win! Both of my daughters got hit with this 24 hour stomach virus and spent the night vomiting. Let's just say it was everywhere but the toilet and more than I could manage. I wanted someone pretty much right away and Miller's carpet care opened at 7am. They Scheduled me a same day appointment. I decided to get the whole house done since they were coming and because the prices where super reasonable. I got in on a special for $18.95 per room, I had to pay a little extra to get the vomit out of the carpet, but nothing I would not have expected. Let's just say I was super pleased with the results, the carpet looks and smells amazing. Even my daughters were excited. They arrived as promised, very professional, thorough and very nice people. This was probably the first time I did not feel like I was being "nickled and dimed" for carpet cleaning. Very worth it and I will be using them again! read more

Worst carpet cleaning job I have ever seen. Advertises as if he is local then uses subcontractors from those various areas. Subcontractor showed-up with a cheap portable carpet cleaner. Carpet was soaked and took three days to dry. Carpet completely re-soiled IN ALL AREAS. Called owner Ray asking him to refund our money. Ray refused to refund money, refused to re-clean the carpet (without additional fees charged) and basically tried to blame the customer for ordering their "cheapest service"??? Invoice/receipt provided has the heading of a different carpet cleaning company (which is partially cut off). What a scam...gives those that are honest a bad reputation... STAY AWAY...TOTAL SCAM in my opinion. We will be reporting these shady business practices to all appropriate authorities Ray! read more

I called today and was able to get same day service. I verified the price and girl assured me it was $19.99 per room $3 per stair step. They sent this older gentleman who was nice however the price is more because the type of carpet I have? He did an ok job considering he is old and had to do it all alone. I honestly felt bad for him. I didn't let him move my sofa. The carpet is wet! Very very wet. Glad it's hot so I turned off the air conditioner and opened Windows to dry the carpet up. Today a man named Ken helped me came to my house to clean my carpets. Ken was an amazing tech! Very knowledgeable! Ken was upfront with me and honest. Ken did a walked though of my house, and explained all my problem areas. He listed to my expectations and followed though with them very professionally. The only two issues I had with this service is the miss guiding in advertisement. I had a coupon for 5 bedrooms and a free hallway. Before I new it the bill went from 95 plus a 10 dollar travel charge to 167. Now at first I had an issue with this but then Ken explained the up sell and told me how it would benefit me and my family! At that point I was sold! The second issue I didn't like was the fact that when I paid with my credit card, they wrote my number on the invoice. I had a problem with that because of the issues these days with credit card theft. I normally wouldn't have went this route but I didn't have the cash required to pay the tech. In closing I would recommend this company to my neighbors and the only thing I ask they change is the billing process. We bought a Groupon. $89 for 1000 Sq feet. First off. They sent 3 guys (yay!). They were here MAYBE 30 min. And...that's it. The stains were still showing so since the furniture was already moved, after they left we got down on hands and knees with some carpet spray and the stains came up. Guys were nice and sweet, but they did jack shaddles for our carpets. Epic fail. Firs off, i should have checked yelp before I ever even thought of using this company to clean my carpets. Most of their reviews are horrible and I am not surprised at all. Ray Miller the owner was extremely rude & seems like a very angry man. I could not believe how nasty he was how he spoke to me. I needed my carpets cleaned for my place because I was moving out of Irvine. I contacted Miller Carpet on Friday June, 10th after finding it on Groupon. I spoke with Ray and scheduled the cleaning for Monday June 13th. I contacted him on Monday to confirm the appointment time between 4-6 and also asked him if he could have the carpet cleaner call about 30 min beforehand so my dad knew when to expect him. Unfortunately, i have been sick & was not able to be there so my dad was going to meet the carpet cleaner for me. Ray told me that because I didn't make a request to have the carpet cleaner call me when I had made the appointment on Friday that I could not have the guy call me when he was on his way. I could not believe what I was hearing!! I had never heard of this before! I then asked if he could please provide me with his cleaner's # so I can call him to see? He would not do that either! At this point there was no way for me to get in contact w the cleaner and my dad had no idea when to expect him. Ray was a complete ass about this! He then he started yelling at me and telling me that he is happy to cancel the appointment if I wanted and that he didn't need the business. All I was doing was asking for his cleaner to contact me on his way. Who does business like that & tells a customer that their cleaner can't contact them on their way??? At this point I was super frustrated and cancelled the appointment. Needless to say, the owner is a complete jerk! He doesn't care about the customer and i guess he doesn't need the business which he said verbatim. Like I said before, no wonder they have mostly negative reviews. The man that came out to clean the carpets was hard working and friendly. They changed the price from a quoted over the phone guarantee from$104.00 to $225.00 and we agreed unfortunately. The carpet is still very very wet and it was cleaned 5 1/2 hours ago. I've never ever experienced that before. When asking about dry times it was turn off the air and open the windows. Because of the dry time we will not use this company again, they also said they would call an hour before arrival after stating between 10-2 showed up at 1:20 no call to warn us he was coming. read more

Called them from one of their advertisement coupons but when they get to your house price doubles. My carpet is just slightly soiled but they try to get you to pay extra for deep cleaning. Carpet doesn't have big dark stains or things that would require additional work. The only way to get their advertised price would be to have clean carpets in the first place. But then I wouldn't be calling them if my carpet was already clean. read more

I did not have the best experience with Millers Carpet. I found a coupon in my get1free mailer for this place and the price on stated on the qpon was lower than any other company. When the technician arrived (right at the last minute in the 2hour time window), he looked at the furniture upholstery and rattled off $345 worth of cleaning...I DONT THINK SO! I thanked him for his time and he when on his way, but not before telling me I owed $10 for a fricking TRIP CAHARGE....I DONT THINK SO! I had $7 in bills and I rummaged through my change jar for another $3 in pennies, nickels and dimes, but the technician didnt do change, so he took the $7. So disappointed!!!! read more
