When they tried to claim it is unreasonable to expect private property to be saved in a vehicle being serviced. I said. "I have a shovel in the back. There were no proactive updates at any point. I had to call repeatedly just to get basic information about my own vehicle. Every step dragged on far longer than it should have, and there was never a clear timeline, explanation, or sense of urgency. On top of the delays, I ended up having to coordinate communication between this shop, another shop, and my insurance company myself just to keep the repair moving. They seemed completely uninterested in managing the process or taking responsibility. I've never seen a shop put so little effort into keeping a customer informed. When the car was finally ready after almost eight weeks, I was told I needed to pay a 3% fee just to use my debit card -- as if the massive delay, lack of communication, and disrespect weren't enough of an inconvenience already. In short: Two months without my vehicle No updates unless I called Constant runaround Poor coordination with insurance and the sublet shop Unhelpful and inflexible payment process The repairs may be complete (nearly all repairs were outsourced to another shop!), but the customer experience was terrible. I had Henry's replace the front number, hood, and headlight. After about a year (car has been garage kept, and only used for city driving with light highway trips) i noticed the clear coat flaking off and basically disappearing. Went to Henry's thinking they would make things right but they said they won't fix their bad work because "i have rock chips" on my bumper and because i apparently drive too aggressively according to the guy who painted my car himself. brought my car to a couple of shops and they all said that the paint and clear coat was applied too thin and that it wasn't up to spec. Fast forward a couple of years and the front bumper has basically lost its shiny and it's a matte color now, and the clear coat is non existent. I called again and they basically (with attitude) told me no, and that theyve reaffirmed that they've already said no in the past. Look at the pictures i posted and they will give you all the answers you need. This place steals your hard earned money and does a poor job to cut spending and keep more for themselves. (I also have another car same model same year with 43,000 more miles than this car that also was hit by a deer, work was done at Prestige auto body in Manchester and it's in pristine condition, so no one can tell me it's my driving or whatever lame excuse they tell people). Great bodywork. They are 100% trustworthy. Enterprise car rental is down the street, so they call and set up a rental car for you. It was the easier, no stress process. Love this business.
