AVOID HENRY's COLLISION AT ALL COSTS. Go elsewhere to spend your hard earned money or if you want the job done right. Roughly 4 years ago i hit a deer and had front end damage. I had Henry's replace the front number, hood, and headlight. After about a year (car has been garage kept, and only used for city driving with light highway trips) i noticed the clear coat flaking off and basically disappearing. Went to Henry's thinking they would make things right but they said they won't fix their bad work because "i have rock chips" on my bumper and because i apparently drive too aggressively according to the guy who painted my car himself. brought my car to a couple of shops and they all said that the paint and clear coat was applied too thin and that it wasn't up to spec. Fast forward a couple of years and the front bumper has basically lost its shiny and it's a matte color now, and the clear coat is non existent. I called again and they basically (with attitude) told me no, and that theyve reaffirmed that they've already said no in the past. Look at the pictures i posted and they will give you all the answers you need. This place steals your hard earned money and does a poor job to cut spending and keep more for themselves. (I also have another car same model same year with 43,000 more miles than this car that also was hit by a deer, work was done at Prestige auto body in Manchester and it's in pristine condition, so no one can tell me it's my driving or whatever lame excuse they tell people). I had a bad experience with these guys. I've got an old pontiac and took my car to them. The owner talked very convincing on the rust repair for this vehicle. Never finished the car in two yrs. I had to get an attorney to get my car and some of the insurance's money back from these guys. I've never been soo frustrated with any business ever before. It was like the owner hid from me after he got paid from my insurance company, changed his personal phone number so I couldn't call him. His son made excuses for him, and I hardly ever got a return phone call. Im soo glad to finally get my car from these guys and take it where I should've taken it before. These guys can easily fool you with their friendly ways, and convincing conversations. But once they've got some of your money and run into repairs that they didn't expect, instead of calling you and renegotiate another price, they'll ignore you, put you to the side, give you excuses, the owner will literally hide from you until you finally go get your car. It was pitiful. He could've just been honest enough to tell me that it was too much work for him, so I could've had my car done elsewhere by now. Instead, he choose the cowards move. I trusted Henry's because my insurance company recommended them. That was my first mistake. To begin with, the lead time for an appointment that I made in January was four months out. I figured they were booked so far out due to the quality of the work they do. That was my second mistake. I dropped my truck off on May 6 2024 and got the call on May 21 that it was all set to pickup. The truck had the wrong hood guard installed even though I had given Jason the web site and the part number for the correct part. The lower valance was cut around the plow frame despite my request not to do so. The hood was not even close to being aligned correctly and Jason's first response was that is as close as we could get it. The paint on the hood and the tailgate had quite a few raised dimples. It required three return visits to fix the truck correctly. I have just noticed the three large scratches on my right front fuel wheel that was brand new a few weeks before the truck was dropped off. This whole process was an absolutely terrible experience and being in the automotive industry myself I will let everyone I know it is best to stay far away from this shop. I don't know what all the bad reviews are about. Over the past few years I have gone to Henry's three times and their work is outstanding. The paint match is excellent and you would never know the vehicle had been damaged. One time I did have a problem but they fixed it. I had been rear ended and an after market muffler had been put on. It was loud. I went back to Henry's and they said they would contact my insurance company to see if they would agree to replace the muffler with an OEM Chevy part, and they did. I wonder if some of the complainants had issues because of their insurance companies. Mine is Travelers and I would have no other. I was just in to Henry's today because I had recently purchased a 2013 Toyota Corolla for my daughter who lives in New York City. After purchasing the vehicle, I noticed the doorframe by the window on the driver side was bent. It was out about a quarter of an inch, so you did get some road noise coming through the side of the door. The Henry's rep came out, looked at the door and said "let me bring it around back and see what they can do". Five minutes later he returned and the door looked as good as new. No charge. read more

Repair work was perfect. I'll be taking my business elsewhere, in he future. Apparently, they think it's okay to go through your personal belongings and mess around with your things. They actually BROKE my led strip lights which I have installed in my interior. ($40 isn't much, but someone should take responsibility) They've also stolen pins from the visor of my car in the past. I let it slide, then, because it's just that ridiculous to me. Seriously. Grow up. My wife bought a used 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee that had some minor damage to the rear bumper and the dealership (Allen Mello Nashua) was unwilling to work with us to fix the bumper. Henry's Collision was extremely easy to work. They are doing virtual estimates right now which made the process very easy. Sent pictures of the bumper and the vin number and they did the work in two business days. The bumper looks brand new and the estimate was on point. Needless to say we will use Henry's for all of our future needs! read more

I am giving the 1 star purely based on an insurance repair. If that is why you have chosen to come here steer clear. My car was repaired by these folks. the car wasn't repaired properly right out of the gate. it is in the same shape that it was previous to the repair work. Not only did this repair shop jerk me around with finishing dates and give me a wreck of a rental, they didn't even finish repairing the damage from the accident. Unless you can hound them in person, don't get your car fixed here. After an accident last year, my car was towed to Henry's under Geico's supervision. They kept my car a lot longer than expected, but after a month and a half of telling me they were waiting on parts I was finally allowed to drive it home. I immediately noticed a few things wrong: the "door open" lights were on, my gas tank door wouldn't lock, and the back wheel (where the car had been hit) made a lot of noise. Eventually these things were fixed at a different repair shop, but I noticed my car drifted to the right shortly after its alignment. Recently, I took the car for a tune-up from a trusted family mechanic and he figured out the problem - the back wheel hadn't been completely restored to its correct position. read more

ALLSTATE CUSTOMERS USE CAUTION: Look over your repair, and make sure it's fully done! Jason will do anything to make sure his handling time is within Allstate's required timeframe. Jason is the primary handler of all Allstate claims, and knowingly released my car to me with repairs not completed. Two days later, I noticed they had neglected to install a fender liner (the part that keeps your engine free of tire-slung road debris). The repair issue itself was not actually serious, but I was irritated to know they had billed out insurance for parts and labor, when they KNEW they hadn't even yet received the part. My complaint here is that Jason KNEW the part hadn't come in (he told me himself), and had a conversation with one of his techs about the part never arriving, but decided to release the car anyways and DID NOT TELL ME about needing further parts. I would have gladly taken delivery of the car, and come back for repairs, if Jason had said, "Your car is pretty much done, and you can come pick it up. There is 1 part that didn't come in, and it takes 30 minutes to install. Come back in a week, and we'll finish it then." But he didn't do that. I know that repair companies are under stress by Allstate (and presumably by other insurance companies) to make sure they handle the repair in the allotted time (usually 30 days), but Jason was more intent on getting the car back to me in 21 days, than waiting 28 days and delivering me a fully-repaired car. The take-away from this review? Their work is good, but keep them accountable. read more

To be completely honest, I would not have even given this place one star but in order to write a review, you have to. They were only supposed to have my car for four days. Instead they had it for 2.5 weeks and told me at least 3 different times it would be ready when it wasn't. On top of jerking me around they did not even call me to tell me that they needed to keep my car longer. I HAD TO CHASE THEM FOR ANSWERS which is unacceptable. They should be keeping me in the loop about the repairs on my car. The receptionist is a snotty young girl with no manners and an awful disposition who is terrible at keeping track of the finances like whether or not you have paid your bill. Also, the other older woman (Natalie I think her name was) is more interested in trying to assert her "power" over the situation then tying to help you. In fact, when I tried to reason with her, all she did was keep repeating their policies and then walk over and talk to her boss about me while I'm standing there. My unfortunate situation was funny to them since I could see them giggling. These women are TERRIBLE TO DEAL WITH. As far as their work quality goes, it is barely average. They didn't fix everything that needed to be fixed and when they put my tire back on my car they put it on wrong which caused it to pop while I was on the highway. When I called and told them this they had their mechanic look at it and even after he confirmed what I had said all they offered to do was put another one on instead of refunding my money so I could get it fixed somewhere else. When I arrived at their shop (having already paid my bill when I dropped the car off) they couldn't find the receipt. On top of that, they tried to charge me for a range of things they "fixed" but never told me over the phone were going to cost extra. After trying to explain to them that I would have declined for them to fix those extras things they still refused to give me my car back until I paid them. Meanwhile I had no money on me and was now stranded at their shop. I explained to them that I would go to the bank and bring them back the money since I had already turned in my rental car and they refused to give me a ride to the bank around the corner, give me my car or let one of their staff go with me to ensure I come back. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. I WOULDNT SUGGEST YOU DO EITHER. read more

They don't stand behind their work. I was convinced to repair rather than replace a front bumper cover 18 months ago. The work was guaranteed so it seemed like a decent option, saving me the cost of my collision insurance deductible. Mistake. I noticed that an inch-long crack developed in the body filler they used to repair the damage, so I asked them to repair it. The estimator took a quick look at the damage and declared it a rock chip and said it wasn't covered. I know the difference between a rock chip and a crack in body putty so I pushed back on her. She said "I know what my boss will say" and again refused. I'm voting with my feet and taking my auto body work and my wife's back to Prestige Auto Body in Manchester, who have stood behind their work for me in the past. I had to go in to schedule an appointment so they could look at my estimate paperwork and then come back later for the appointment, when it would've been easier to email. First off, this does not look like a body shop--clean and maintained, both inside and out. I was greeted right away (with a smile!) and asked about how the repairs would be handled. I was then walked out to the car and given an explanation of how the whole repair process would take place (I had not been in an accident for over 20 years). I was very happy to find out I did not have to spend my time getting two or three more estimates (who has the time for that?). I was even told he would take care of reserving a rental car for me--one less thing for me to worry about! I had been nervous at first, but after hearing the explanation I felt that Henry's was as concerned about me as they were about fixing my car. And fix it they did--the repairs were great! I was told up front how long the repairs might take (and why). He also called me with regular updates. And I really appreciated getting a call the day before the car would be ready so I could plan accordingly to pick the car up. Finally, when I arrived my car was already pulled up front so I could inspect it before I went in to pay the bill. It had been cleaned on the inside washed on the outside! My car looked almost new! After I paid for the repairs he walked out to my car and thanked me again for my business. I was referred to Henry's by friends who also had their cars repaired there and now I know why. read more

The owner's wife is bad news. They repaired my Mazda in the fall. The following spring the air conditioner was not working so I took it to Mazda and they charged me $150 to fix it. They asked if I had body work done recently and I said yes. They told me whoever repaired it had not re-connected something that was the problem. They suggested I talk to the repair shop and get a refund for the $150. The woman at Henry's asked me why I had not taken the car to them when the AC did not work. How's was I to know it was their ineptness that was the reason my AC did not work. Anyway, she originally offered to give me half of the $150 and I told her I would see her in small claims court. She finally reimbursed me for the full cost of fixing the issue that was a result of their shoddy work. read more

Anyone could have done it. Having to deal with the girls up front was awful! It has been 3 months and I still haven't received the money the owe me. My pickup was a victim of hit and run and had damage on the bed. Geico recommended that I bring it to Henry's Auto Body in Manchester, NH, because they had an Express Service. My initial thought was to bring it to Grappone Collision Center in Bow since they did an incredible job before on the same area. Jen from Geico said I would have the truck back in four or five business days. If I didn't do the Express Service, the wait could be a month. In the meantime, I asked Jen if the body shop could take care of a small area of rust where mud flaps once were, two areas about the size of quarters. The blemish was light and not rusted through - just surface rust. She said no problem. I also told her some decals on the side were not the original decals and where they could be found, along with the model year. No problem. This was the best part of the entire business transaction. Two weeks later (twice as long) I got the truck back. It turns out they ordered the wrong decals. Not once, not twice, but three times. Simply amazing! And they put them on and took them off three times!! No one in the organization ever thought of walking around to the other side of the truck to look at the correct decal before they put the incorrect decals on. They never ordered the correct decal after I provided explicit instructions. The area where the mud flap created surface rust was not taken care of, as promised. She (Jen) said they couldn't do it. Why? I don't know. She made it sound they were incapable of doing it. It is much easier to do something like that when ordering a bunch of paint supplies than ordering the supplies just for the one small area, due to cost. I believe it was an excuse because they dropped the ball and forgot about it. I also had chrome rails on top of the bed and the truck came home with one missing. They didn't put it back on. I said forget it and I will put the rail back on myself, along with a correct decal, on my own. It turns out they totally stripped a screw for the chrome rail and that is why they didn't put it back on. The body work in general was OK, but they repeatedly made mistakes and didn't do what they were supposed to do. I can't tolerate incompetence. By the time I got my truck back, Jen had disappeared from Geico (no one knew where she went!) and it took twice as long as promised. I should have gone with my gut and brought my truck back to Grappone Collision Center, even if it took months longer. When my truck was at Grappone, Geico tried to get them to use inferior parts. Grappone said no because of the immaculate condition of my vehicle, held out and rec'd new (not used/dinged) parts. Compared to Henry's, it was like night and day. Never again will I go to Henry's or go with Geico recommendations. "Fifteen minutes can save you fifteen percent"? I would rather pay full price and receive quality work. read more

If you for some reason take a car to Henry's (formerly Henry's Auto Body I believe) for repair, for example if suggested by insurance company, make sure you get EVERYTHING in writing regardless of what the situation is with insurance. Otherwise afterwards you may hear that something was not said and that even if it was that person(s) was not authorized to say the same and if you question this you also may see that you get a new contact who treats you very poorly (I am being very kind here).
