OK so after my last review the management from Miller's contacted me and asked me back to try the food again... Ok cool, I dig it. So we get in contact with them and we go in on a Thursday night. The manager Antonio was very nice and took great care of us. We started out with the fried calamari with the sweet Thai sauce. Phenominal! Great calamari nice and crunchy and good sized portion. The thai sauce was a nice addition with a sweet tangy flavor. Then I ordered the zingers (boneless buffalo wings} with hot buffalo sauce and a side salad. The Zingers them self were very good, thick white meat chicken with a very spicy flavor. The side salad was great too, it was a good size with cheese and bacon on it. My bf ordered the half rack of ribs with fries. I didn't try them but he said they were good. I also had a glass of the sutter home moscato, which was really good and came in a cute little carafe (theres a pic, lol). All in all I was super stuffed by the end of dinner. The food was very good and they definitely redeemed themselves in my book. They also put a majority of the bill on the house which is great! I will go again some time... read more

Miller's Ale House - Sutter home moscato.. in a cute little carafe - Sports Bars Near Me - Paramus, New Jersey

My friends and I left all happy. Note, it is extremely rare I give a 5, i would have to go there two or more times and leave happy. So what makes this a 4? First we were seated right away to check the Thursday night NFL game. Lots of TVs! Even better was that they changed the channel on another TV to the NBA game on. Food, I did not order, but my friends all finished their food happily, and even ordered another plate later on. Service? A+ she was on point! She could even see the look on our face that we weren't sure what to order, then asked what kind of style/flavor beer we like....then gave us a samples to see if we would like it (lol at first we thought she was ignoring/leaving us to other customers..nope). honestly, attentive waitresses like this will keep us going back to there, and possibly being seated by her part of the bar. Even other bartenders noticed we needed refills and he asked right away too. A+ We will be returning read more

Decent service and food - nothing to write home about. Good drinks and atmosphere though too crowded on weekends. If you want to see a drunken fight at 2am - this is the nicest place to do so. read more

Great place to go for football Sundays but make sure you get there early. I got there at 12pm and got a table but if you don't get a table by 12:45pm, you're probably going to be standing for the whole night. Great specials, like $8 pitchers and good food items as well. This will be my go to spot on Sundays for football from now on... read more

Very busy but sat pretty fast (10 mins) great selection of beers if that's your thing, but so busy at the bar it's hard to get great service. Nothing against that, but if your there on a wait could make up for the wait time. Above average fare for bar food, loud but fun atmosphere. I'd recommend as a fun meet up spot for friends or a fun date! read more

This isn't really my kind of place. Lots of fried foods and tons of beers. I ended up getting fish tacos, which were okay. They were out of everything my friend tried to order, so he ended up getting a cheeseburger. The server was nice, but it's loud, crowded and a great place to watch any one of the zillion TVs. read more

This place is a nightmare. If you're looking for a good time and some decently priced drinks before the late night crowd arrives, then this place suffices HOWEVER, if you plan to stay late into the hours of the night and indulge in an adult beverage or two, stay far away from this place!!!!!....I just had an interesting altercation with some hipster "too cool for school" bartender in the back bar. So, I order my drink and much to my surprise Mr. hipster proceeds to tell me that I spat in his face. He backs off and takes my order from a distance. Understandably, I apologize, as my intention was never to spit in someone's face on purpose and I relayed the message to the individual. I didn't think I did such a thing but it was very loud and I felt the need to speak at a higher volume of voice to convey to the bartender my drink order. In the interim, I guess he felt it was intentional and even after my apology, he halfheartedly serves my drinks and that was the end of it for the time being. I didn't pursue the matter. As the night progressed, this individual decides to ask me to move from where I was standing by the bar because I apparently was causing some sort of disruption to his bar tending capabilities. I moved over to the side as requested and moments later, mr hipster comes up to me again and decides to inquire what my problem was with him. I responded that I wanted to know the same thing because I felt it was vice versa. He proceeded to tell me that I spat in his face again, didn't get tipped, and felt that i had a problem with him. What exactly am I missing???...you accuse me of spitting on you intentionally, and then have the nerve to tell me that I didn't tip you?????????.....in what world does this makes sense????...For starters, you NEVER ask a customer or infer to a customer the reasons why you didn't get tipped!!!!!...PERIOD......Secondly, if you're so damn insecure about yourself, that you need to exert some sort of masculine display of superiority in order to convey your displeasure about an interaction, then by all means, express it but NEVER devalue or otherwise undermine the other person's explanation especially when the action was unintentional. Be a man!!!! Thirdly, why in the world would I tip after being treated like that????.... So after this interaction, I decide to go complain about this individual to a "manager." Well, I ended up speaking with one and I think I would have gotten better results speaking to the wall. This guy, (another hipster misfit) proceeds to tell me a million and one reasons why I was wrong and his bartender was the best thing since sliced bread. Listen, I don't want to hear that BS. If you're a "manager", do not undermine the validity of a customer's concerns by defending the employee by any means necessary. Your "job" is predicated on your ability to maintain the status quo of customer & employee satisfaction & in that regard I am sorry to say that this piece of driftwood failed epically and decided to pick sides. When I inferred that a potential relationship existed between he and mr hipster, he very arrogantly stated that I was correct. So what's the point of having a manger when you have a biased point of view and a "customer is always wrong" mentality????.....against my better judgment, I decided to go out and have a nice time with my wife and some friends, and this yahoo managed to confirm my suspicions about why I do not participate in these types of social scenes. I guess this part is my fault for not sticking with my gut but nevertheless, I went out and boy, was I right about the caliber of people nowadays. Times have certainly changed. read more

We've been there on a Fri evening for dinner. We had to wait for the table about 20 mins, but it was fine. We grabbed a couple of beers while waited. There is a decent variety of beer and the food is good and reasonable priced. We tried the guacamole dip, seafood combo, the crab legs. It looks like a great place to hang out. read more

if you like a change in pace for watching sports and drink garbage beer like miller lite. Bud etc..... Then this is your place. The good - place is large , lots of parking and they have rogue on tap. Bouncers are around to deal with the guys who never grew up .....and like to get drunk on miller lite at a chain restaurant. The bad - long waits seems to be common here and the food isn't bad but it's not worth the wait. The ugly - very loud .....you have to yell at night if you want to talk. the worse part is at night there's an abundance of guys and girls acting obnoxious as if we are in college bar. the bouncers had to kick these girls out because they weren't 21...... the guys behind us dressed and acted like they were jn the jersey shore mtv show. Keep it ...... read more

This is a pretty chill place. It stays busy so obviously they are doing something right. Adam is a cool bartender. I would recommend this spot to my friends. read more

Was excited to see Miller's ale house outside of Florida. Same menu, great beer selection. Good bartenders. If you're in Paramus, sorry, go here! read more

Zingers are really good, you can taste the freshness, and the zesty garlic sauce is awesome! Great service from Adam B., my bartender! Given the opportunity, I will return for an afternoon lunch! I hear the evening weekend crowd can be a but too much! read more

Great place! But if you go there with girls and the bouncer wants them, you're going to have a bad time.

I ordered one of their custom hamburgers, asked for medium well, cooked medium or less. It was okay. Music was much too loud. I've been here 4 or 5 times. It took a while to realize I just don't like Miller's and I won't be going back. Too bad. It had potential. read more

Love this place. I go here often with friends. It's a great place to watch a game. Drinks are cheap, beer list is excellent. Food is surprisingly good bar fare. Bartenders are tremendous as well. read more

I've been to millers several times in the past, but after last night it will be my last. Two of my friends and I went out for St. Patrick's day. They had several drink and food deals that night. We each had 4 Irish mules, 2 margaritas, and an Irish car bomb and we barley had a buzz. Now mind you, my two friends were girls so obviously their tolerance isn't as high. We did also order nachos and the zingers flatbread( Both were good). Yes, the food would've sobered us up but for the sheer amount we drank there is no way we could've been that sober. We're convinced that they watered down all the drink specials they had going on (Jameson, tequila, etc). After this we went to a local bar and had a beer and a shot and felt more buzzed then we did after all the drinks we had at Millers. In terms of customer service, our waiter was very attentive for such a busy night. She actually sat down at our table and answered all our questions. If you're going to Millers to eat then by all means but if you're going to drink beware. Save your money and just buy some beer...they can't dilute that read more

Very similar to the rest of the local sit down restaurants. Miller Ale did not meet my expectation. I would probably go to one of the local place down the road for a meal. It is good for group and after work but the food is just okay. There is parking, the staff are friendly read more

I never write reviews, but this waitress deserves one! Every year for my birthday for the past several years, i have celebrated with one or two friends by eating at Millers. Last night i followed through the same tradition with a close friend. My waitress was Priscilla very kind, sweet and attentive, she made my birthday feel special and she was a wonderful waitress, Even when the table behind us (the only complaint i have for the night) gave her a hard time over the pettiest of things , she kept her cool and never let it affect her mood. Good people deserve great praise! Waitress was great, food was great, atmosphere was great! read more

Great sports bar. They have TVs everyone, a great selection of beer in two rooms. The wait can be long on football Sundays. My only criticism is the way they give you numbers and you have to constantly look up at the few screens for your number (and it doesn't go in numerical order). We ordered the chicken quesadillas, zinger mountain melt (heart-attack city! but good), and bistro burger. For bar food, it was decent. read more

Great reasonably priced food, great beer selection, and wonderful service. All around great place to either grab a drink or eat!

Incredibly reasonable prices for drinks which run all day! Daily lunch specials, daily dinner specials. Went wed night for lobster dinner special. 1 1/4 lb. Lobster 12.95 or same size but stuffed 14.95 or 15.95 cant remember exact price. Can replace side. Had ceaser sslad, ceaser dressing was very creamy and fattening just how I like it! We had also started with the buffalo shrimp appetizer (medium) was very tasty but a bit on mild side. After all of that food & too beers each we owed $47 and were so stuffed!! Cant wait to go back ...... and they weren't lying about the outrageous amounts of televisions!!! Perfect fit for football. !!! Oh! And they have the cutest fire place area which you can sit by and eat!!! read more

Don't let their online beer menu fool you, this place has a very good selection of craft brews. I only had some appetizers, but all were very good. Crowded but not overly loud. Plenty of TVs with sports on, if you are into that. I'll be back. read more

Great go-to bar for someone looking to get a drink in the area. I've only tried the sweet potato fries, which were nice.. at least from what I remembered. The bar gets pretty packed around 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays so I would suggest arriving early. The place is also spacious and has a nice crowd. Overall a great place to get wasted. read more

Excellent place to eat and drink with friends. All types of environment all around. Great sports bar. Food is good tasting also with pricing. If you order to-go, you will have way too much food to handle. Although, i wish they had Henny. :.....( Enjoy! read more

To say the food is horrible is an understatement. Mozzarella sticks tasted stale and were hard. My friend had the French Dip and left 90% of it -- no flavor at all. I had the snow crab dinner -- let's be honest, you can't really mess up crab legs as long as they're fresh. They weren't fresh. Service was not that great either. Our server (Chris K) didn't come back at all to check on us. We asked for water when seated and it didn't arrive until I asked an additional two times and that was only by asking other people to get Chris to come back to the table. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all. Luckily in Northern NJ there are plenty of pubs to go to for better food. read more

Friendly service, great beer prices, good food with a lot of tvs! Outdoorish patio is the place to be. Steak Sandwich with sweet potato fries are amazing! read more

This is a GREAT sports bar - especially for the area (which has nothing even close to it). Huge selection of draft/bottled beers and a nice wine list for a bar of this nature. For those who gave thumbs down to this place for their sangria: what are you thinking ordering sangria in a sports bar to begin with?!? That's like going to a diner and ordering the lobster. Give me a break. Know where you are and adjust your expectations accordingly. Back to the review... Been here a number of times on Saturday's (for lunch) and Sundays (for the NFL action) and have yet to be disappointed. Burgers are flavorful and cooked perfectly and they have a good topping-list. The apps are good and you can't beat the drink specials (nice and cheap miller lites that are served ice-cold). Like many have said before, the servers here ARE young and inexperienced but this isn't Le Cirque. They're eager and friendly and that's all you should be asking for in a sports bar. The TV's are huge and numerous and some of the viewing angles for games are awesome. Can't wait for the warm weather so I can try sititng outside in what looks like a rennovated outdoor porch area. All in all - you won't find a better sports bar around here. read more

Nice place, good atmosphere, food was tasty, bartender (Nicole) was cool. Very affordable. I'll go back.

Service isn't all that great, seems likes all servers disappear at the same time. Drinks are weak and taste measured. Managers give you the run around when you bring an issue to their attention. read more

Before moving back up to North Jersey I used to go to the Miller's Ale House in Mount Laurel (outside Philly). Bar food and beer selection was always good. This location however is mobbed. After an hour into the Giants game I managed to get 1 seat at the bar. We did however wait 2 1/2 hours for a table. By that point I decided against eating there and drove through Wendy's on the way home. read more

Hey I'm sure if you love beer and fried food, this place is for you. If you want to get something that's a little stepped up, not covered in sauce and fried, it's absolutely terrible. We were out shopping late so had limited options, stopped in to split a steak and a couple of drinks. We ordered the Porterhouse, medium rare. I can honestly say i've never had a worse steak in my life. It came out, about a half inch thick, so thin!! cooked well-done. we sent it back, and then received another that looked like a big dried out pork chop with a half inch of fat around the side. Unless someone told me that was steak, I woulnd't have known. We took two bites each and wrapped it up for the dog. Basically inedible. The only thing that was good was out steamed broccoli. Ordered two dirty martinis (very easy to make) and it came back with about half olive juice. ick. Our server was very nice, apologetic, and even said he ate our steak that we sent back (really? lol). But the worst $60 I've ever spent on food. but if you like beer and wings, I'm sure you'll like it here. read more

This place gets very busy but we usually only come here for drinks. Had the fish tacos and they were pretty good. It is a big place but so popular that it gets way too crowded on Sundays for football games so come early! read more

Always a crowded spot on Sundays and we're lucky if we find a seat but they sat us at a table in 45 minutes, which isn't bad at all. The only good sports bar in northern bergen county. The place is large with plenty of tvs and a ton of beers on tap.

Millers is the go to spot if your from the area. The food and drinks are great for a reasonable price. The service is good considering it's a sports bar. The atmosphere is always live, fun, and friendly. They carry daily specials on top of their already low price menu. read more

Better than expected! I was really just expecting a fun-of-the-mill sports bar with greasy food, beer and a few TVs. I was surprised to find a clean and welcoming restaurant with friendly & attentive staff and good food! They have en extensive beer menu (duh) and a great selection of food items. They also have a gluten-free menu as well as a vegetarian menu. I ordered a black bean burger with a side of rice & beans which was awesome! Another guest I was with had salmon which tasted fresh & was served as a hearty portion. My husband had the ribs which he didn't LOVE, but they were okay. The kids menu is pretty typical: burgers, chicken, etc. but a serving of ice cream is included with the kids meal, which is always a nice bonus. No complaints here & we're happy to return when in the area! read more

When I first came here I was excited and loved the place .. Mostly because I had such a good experience with the one I visited in Hollywood, Fl (pines ale house).. The service was slow when it first opened but figured it was because they had just opened and were working out the kinks .. But no .. The service still sucks and is very slow .. The servers are more interested in being popular than serving ... If ur at the bar .. And it's relatively empty, it's still extremely slow as bartenders are chatting with friends, other employees or just not looking up or in the direction of any customer ...why still come? Their drink prices are better than most happy hours.. Pick your poison read more

Great food, sports atmosphere, everyone is friendly. One of those places where you get to know everyone cause they always come as regulars.
