We host a corporate event here every year. They are great to work with. The food and drinks are delicious. The view of the ice rink is beautiful and they validate parking. #iraeats #iraeats1

Our server was David and he was wonderful. He was very kind and understanding and friendly. Fabian was a very nice staff person. This is a beautiful restaurant because it's right where the bean is and it's so pretty to see that and it's nice to do people watching around here. This is also used as an ice-skating rink in the winter and other events happen here. The ambience is nice because you have indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are nice and it's an inviting place. It's also in the heart of all the tourist hot spots downtown so it is a nice place to enjoy food and drinks. They have happy hour 4-6pm where they have $5 dollars off pizza and appetizers. We got the 12" $22 Carni Italiani pizza but it had a little bit of fresh mozzarella cheese and it was super spicy. The meat was tasty. The best part of the pizza was the chewy crust and dough which is not common to find in Chicago. They also have $10 drinks during happy hour. The burger w fries were very good. We even saw a Trump protest against ICE raids and such today while eating bc it's right on Michigan avenue.

Stumbled upon this place while visiting the ice ring with the kids. This restaurant has a great pizza and a great bar service a selection of full liquors. The service is friendly and we found the bathrooms to be clean and in good order.

RE: Double Clutch Brewing Company at Millenium Hall This place has so much potential to be a 4-star or 5-star reviews. Management needs to full staff this place because every server is really giving you their best service despite their circumstances. But it's pretty obvious that this place is not staffed and stocked enough to do so. Expect long wait times, make sure to order all what you want at first, and just enjoy the vibes. I've only tried their happy hour specials (Low Rider Session IPA, Frozen Margaritas, Frozen Rosè, Lumpia, Tomato & Ricotta Bruschetta). The frozen drinks were perfect for the 90 degrees weather, the IPA was solid (not a strong IPA for those wondering about that), and the food was decent. I would come again especially knowing what to expect, but I do hope that management considers fully staffing especially during happy hours and busy days. Your people are working!

I feel like I have been living under a rock. All the times we have taken the kids ice-skating, we have never made a stop inside--until now. While waiting for our teens to get off the ice, we decided to warm up indoors. There is a beautiful full bar you can cozy up to and enjoy food and drinks while watching the skaters go by. There's also plenty of table seating inside. Hubby and I ordered a couple of draft beers from our friendly bartender and took a look at the food menu for next time. (The pizza came out and looked delicious.) I was seriously surprised by how reasonable the prices were, considering this is in a very high-traffic area, yet the restaurant felt warm, cozy, and not overcrowded.

Chicago dog from Pop-up stand -- decent but I'm sure there's better.

Rating: 2.5/5 Was walking in Grant Park after leaving from The Bean. Was a little hungry and saw their pop-up stand. I've never had a Chicago dog and so that's what I ordered. I don't have have anything else to compare it to but I'm sure there's better around. It was okay -- decent. I didn't like that one side of the bread that had the poppy seeds was kind of hard/slightly crunchy. I'd imagine it shouldn't have been like that...

First off- DOG FRIENDLY! . We almost made the mistake of ordering a Chicago dog... our waitress told us about the pizza, and how they fly the ingredients in from Italy.... We went with The Roni--- and when I say the cheese MELTS in your mouth!!!! We both agreed this is the best pizza we have ever had!!! Magnificent!

Nice place for drinks and watching the game. There are big ceiling to floor screens and a fully stocked bar. The brick ovens produced some of the most amazing smelling pizza. There's a fully stocked bar. Jose the bartender showed so much love by keeping the drinks coming and pouring up some of the most delish lemons top shots! Definitely a place to check out, the outdoor patio opens May 2023

Stopped in to Napolita Pizzeria to do their Neapolitan pizza making class. We found the event on chicago Bucketlisters and we weren't sure what to expect. But figured what the heck, let's check it out. I am so, so glad we did. We had a BLAST! The whole experience was extremely well done - super organized - from the instruction, to set up, drinks and the tasty little bruschetta starter. From the moment we arrived everyone was helpful, polite, fun, and professional. I had no idea the restaurant that used to be here closed (during covid) and this fantastic Neapolitan pizzeria opened in its place. They even have BEAUTIFUL black and white tiled imported pizza ovens. Anyway, a few minutes after arriving the bar was all set up we were checked in and able to get a variety of beers and wines, we were served bruschetta and then instruction started. The main instructor (I forgot his name but I believe he is british) was great! Thorough explanations and he did a great demonstration - he's a funny guy too! We then got to dig right in and stretch our dough out and pick between a white (Alfredo - ish) sauce or a simple Marzano tomato sauce, a great selection of toppings, roasted red peppers, caramelized onions, salami, bacon, pepperoni, sausage, and had fantastic fresh creamy Buffalo mozzarella cheese! Once your pizza was ready you gave 1/2 of your number ticket to a member of the event staff and less than 3 minutes later - they called your number and your pizza was piping hot and ready. They had parm, red pepper flakes, truffle oil, olive oil, and I think a chili oil to finish off your masterpiece. The open bar ran for about 90 mins and they had a last call before closing the bar. I loved this event and I hope they continue to do this - i would do it again! https://bucketlisters.com/event/diy-pizza-and-sip?source=collections

This is how an Old Fashion should look like and taste. Not like that garbage,

The worst bar service. Told the lady bartender her old Fashion was nasty and ignored us and wouldn't serve us.

Service was friendly and top notch as expected from a nice Chicago restaurant. Props to the serving assistant/"busboy" who kept our waters full and table clean and set as we ate. As a former buss boy and server, I really appreciated his effort and attentiveness. Food was excellent! I got the chicken picatta with rigatoni added and both were on point. Homemade pasta and succulent chicken were really fantastic for an otherwise "boring" choice by me. We shared a side of the cauliflower that was seasoned impeccably with toasted almonds and white raisins. It might have been the best part of our entire meal which is saying a lot. Girlfriend got the lobster stuffed pasta which was excellent as well per her report and my opinion after tasting. Would Highly recommend this place for business, date, or dinner with a few friends. Very reasonable price as we are for less than $100 pre tax although we did not get any drinks. Tipped in cash because the service and atmosphere were soo good.

Came in today with a group of eight friends over an hour after cocktail lounge opened (slower…read morehours). I'll begin by mentioning the drinks tasted great & the ambiance/overall esthetic and setup of this space is really wonderful. Unfortunately, my low review is because of the obvious distastefulness of some staff who are serving & bartending here. My guests visiting from out of state wanted a stiff drink in the afternoon & from the website photos + reviews, Vol 39 seemed like an awesome place that could accommodate our party with the large sofa seating. I even called ahead to ask about walk-ins of our size to be extra considerate. We received shocking dagger glares from a few staff members which made all eight of us immediately uncomfortable before even being sat. Like we were committing a major crime for thinking we could step foot in here. Empty stack of glasses slammed on the table with a water pitcher placed beside them; "I'll be right back." In a sharp tone. Ok. But not if we're paying $20 per person per cocktail. We were rushed and this attitude persisted, it is lazy.. especially given it was extremely slow.. super surprising for such an elevated establishment. Then, after a long while, we were all asked what we wanted to drink, like a fast casual burger joint. No, "any questions about our selections" or, "may I give some suggestions?" Never came by to check on us once despite the three other two tops inside. We wrapped it up fast since we definitely could choose another location with more attentiveness & basic kindness. We paid, a hefty gratuity in small print on the check which.. you guessed it.. was automatically included but no mention of this tidbit by the server. Maybe this is why we revived all this mean girl energy from the jump? Because they'll still get paid really well regardless? All eight of us have been a part of the service industry and this one stuck out extra frustrating & annoying. Never leave a low review, I'm writing today to management because they will ruin your repeat clientele, seriously. People can find another fabulous cocktail with way better service & vibes in the city. Overall, it was a shame my friends experienced this gross behavior today in the fabulous city of Chicago. Hope the staff does better in the future and works on improving their outlook.
