When my tires were worn out (twice), Juan got me in that same day. I appreciated this so much, especially when I told him I was leaving for a trip that day! When I come for service, he's very transparent and walks me through what might need fixing outside the regular service, and what we can probably wait on. Yesterday afternoon I took my child to a lesson after school and my car would not lock! The key fob was fine and batteries are fine.. it also would not lock hitting the button inside. I looked up both issues and they're common but not due to wear and tear. Despite this, the Kia dept does not seem to be honoring their warranty and want to charge me $270 just to look at the car. I'm in a bad situation where I need my car tomorrow to take a trip.. so I'm sitting in their freezing service department being told it'll take all day with horrible loud music playing (dance party at 7:30 am is my nightmare) and a man looking at a loud video of dogs on his phone next to me. The tech told me they can put some of the battery cost into the $270 but he wasn't sure if it would be more.. I just hope they replace it. I had a Toyota before this and an Oldsmobile before that, neither car ever broke in these weird ways. Especially one year into ownership :( I regret that I thought Kia would be okay with the warranty and feel tricked. Sorry I bought one here especially. I'm sad the Alhambra location is gone now- I planned to take it there since I had been told by other parents who had Kia's to avoid this place at all costs. My experience ended with getting my car back 6 hours later- the rear window wiper fluid fixed under the warranty and not charged because they never figured out why my car couldn't lock. Now I drive around worrying when it will happen next. I appreciate not being charged and the warranty honored for the back wiper fluid.

My phone, bag, and literally anything and everything I would need to call for help were all inside. Of course, of course. I ended up running into this business and asked the two people working the front that day if they could help. They took time out of their day to try to figure things out for me. Eventually, when it turned out I would just have to call my roadside assistance, they looked up the numbers for me to call and let me use their office phone. That said, I wish I had gotten their names, but my flabbers were too gasted to ask. I didn't even think to step in and thank them once my door was popped open, which I realized once I got home and crashed out on my bed for a bit. So I hope this review can convey my gratitude to them instead. Thanks for rescuing a silly little Honda owner from a full-on mental breakdown. It would have been best if my car hadn't locked me out in the 90-degree heat on a random Wednesday afternoon. But I guess I got just lucky enough that it happened outside Acura of Glendale. I dropped off my car and turned around to have a late breakfast. While I was eating, I received a call from Acura. They had clearly promised to contact me in the afternoon. Acura of Glendale told me that because my car had other aftermarket products installed (such as a front camera with recording capabilities), they could not fix it according to their policy and told me to take it away. Ah... I really went through a lot of trouble to get there. How many 10-year-old cars would there be without a front camera installed like that? I explained to them that I had already disconnected all the wires connected to my battery's negative terminal, but their answer was the same. What choice did I have? If they wanted me to take it, I had to. I immediately contacted a nearby place called Honcura, which is a long-standing shop with good reviews. The owner, who had a kind voice, readily told me to bring it in. I mentioned that my car had aftermarket products, but he didn't mind. My car is still there now, and those kind people are working hard to fix it. I was extremely disappointed with Acura of Glendale this time, and I think it was a really foolish thing to have wasted my time booking an appointment there without a shred of doubt. I went back because they were kind at the end, but I probably won't go again. I read a few months ago about a new upgrade Honda was offering to 2018-2022 Accord owners that I had been hoping for not too long after taking ownership of this beauty back in 2021 after it was turned in from a lessee. Excited by the prospect to finally really be able to enjoy Apple CarPlay, I called my local Honda dealership in Hollywood. You see, I found that having to plug the phone in by cable meant that any little movement of the phone would disconnect the Apple CarPlay function. So quickly I learned to do without. I noticed that there were some critical differences in the audio and mapping function, but what choice did I have? When I got ahold of the service department at Honda of Hollywood, the customer service rep told me he'd never heard of it. I asked if he would check with his colleagues, and sure enough, NONE of them had heard of this. This guy even launched into a story that he's had this call before, but it always turned out that the caller was mistaken about the information. On to the next! Next, I called another Honda dealership I'd had experience with before in Burbank, but again, they'd never heard of it and couldn't help me. Now, I'm not one to go door-to-door when nobody's buying my cookies. That meant calling corporate. I called Honda USA and reached their customer service department and spoke with a representative who ALSO said they'd never heard of this and didn't quite know what to do for me. He wound up sending me an email that I was told to respond to with any information that I could find on the topic and send it back to him for him to follow up on. I did it quickly as I was determined to have this upgrade. A couple of weeks went by, and I reached back out to the rep. I had to leave a couple of messages before I finally got a call back. He left a message. I called back to reply, but never was able to reach him. After another couple of weeks, I tried again. But this time I wound up reaching a different rep. This woman said she needed to look at the notes surrounding my case so that she could pick up where they left off. She proceeded to tell me that the notes indicated that I had NOT responded to the email sent and that they closed the case. I was appalled. I take great pride in my chosen vehicle and have always trusted the Honda brand, but here I was being tossed aside without so much as a final answer. I told the new rep that this was not at all the case, and I couldn't believe what I was hearing. She appreciated my dilemma and said she'd see what she could do for me. She was sure to tell me that she couldn't make any promises, but promised to see if there was anything she could do. Within about an hour, I got a call back from her saying, "I think I have good news for you!" She continued to say that she hoped it was okay that she took the liberty of calling a local dealership that she came to understand had done this upgrade before. I said, "Take the liberty! Take the liberty!" In the process, she spoke with an agent that she hooked me up with and got the ball rolling. This woman made my day! He had sold the car I wanted, but had the same model with a different trim available. It was an upgrade from the one I wanted. Victor was fantastic from the beginning. There was genuinely no pressure, which I really appreciated. He listened to my budget, worked with me to find numbers I was comfortable with, and at no point did I feel like I was being haggled or pushed into making a decision. I had called a couple of other Honda dealerships while I was shopping, and the level of customer service here was not even comparable. I knew he was giving me the best possible deal he could. Jayden was equally wonderful when it came time to finalize the lease. He explained everything clearly, gave me the information I needed to make informed decisions, and made what I expected to be the stressful part of the process surprisingly painless. I personally went down to speak to the manager myself and leave with the vehicle but they had me waiting for 2 hours and he never showed up. He apparently went to lunch but never came back. Continued to call and never got a call or response back. The salesman and sales manager dropped the ball and never communicated back after numerous calls and text. Would not recommend coming to this dealer for a vehicle, as of today I still have not heard back. Went to Monrovia BMW where they discounted the vehicle, gave me what I wanted for my trade in and actually treated me with respect
