Just absolutely classic dinner food nothing more nothing less always a great meal Great pancakes

This is a great spot for reasonably priced comfort food. We've been here a couple of times and the staff is always so friendly and the service is quick. The food is tasty and portions are very generous. We could seriously split a sandwich and be full...not that we do, but we could! Their burgers are very good, full of flavor and very juicy. Whatever special cake or pie they have, get that if you want some sweets, you can't go wrong. Great place!

We were in the area for breakfast on a weekend morning, so we decided to stop in at Mill Plain since it was the closest diner to where we were coming from. We were seated quickly, and the staff got our food out to us quickly. I had the corned beef hash with scrambled eggs, which wasn't bad, and my fiancé ordered the short rib hash and eggs, which we both agreed was just average as well. The short rib didn't have much flavor at all, and some of our breakfast potatoes were a bit crunchy, alluding to how they should've been cooked a little longer. The diner itself had a cute, classic feel to it which is why it drew us in too. I don't see ourselves coming back unfortunately with there being so many other options in the area.

Just some fries that was good.

The staff is very attentive and kind. The menu is varied to the point of having difficulty choosing. We chose Hungarian stuffed cabbage and trio salad. HUGE portions are their signature. My meal came with a cup of soup & I chose matzo ball. Also, I chose baked potato and chickpea salad and a side tossed salad. I do not eat processed sugar and they had oil and vinegar to dress the tossed salad. We had 2 large pieces of challah bread with it and hubby had half of a lemon danish for his dessert, saving the rest for tonight. The bakery section is very impressive and I would have had a very hard time back in my sugar addicted days. This place is already on my calendar for next year's return. I had a neat conversation with our waitress about Amorgos and Santorini Greece. This family does a great job of serving the community!

The London broil wrap was cooked well, but I eventually had to eat it with a fork and knife because it was so oily. Overall, a good selection of your typical diner offerings of wraps, sandwiches, burgers, and salads that make them a reliable staple most anywhere. I would definitely return if I was in the area.

The walls are covered with relics from the old Great Danbury Fair, and the 100-year-old bar gives the whole place a warm, lived-in charm that feels real, not staged. We tried the SouthWest Eggrolls with the guacamole ranch dipping sauce and they were seriously good. The Mushroom Panini was packed with portobello mushrooms, fresh mozzarella, red pepper pesto, tomatoes, and greens on rustic crust bread. Add Rosy's fries and you're set. The Pastrami on a Pretzel Roll was another winner with sautéed onions, Swiss, and whole grain mustard. Also came with Rosy's fries, which we happily demolished. Rebeca, our server, was awesome. Friendly, quick, and on top of everything without hovering. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Can't wait to come back.

No more. I've given up on this place. I went a few times in the past and it was "good enough."…read moreUnfortunately, the two most recent times I walked out very frustrated. Today, I ordered Crab Cakes Benedict and as they were being brought to the table I smelled a strong fishy smell and I have a weak sense of smell. I took one bite and lo and behold, it tasted off. I let them know and asked for just regular Eggs Benedict. She asked if I wanted Canadian Bacon and I asked for other options, and decided on regular bacon. I waited a little bit and they brought it out with Canadian Bacon, not regular bacon, I was about to just take it off and eat it but the girl realized her mistake and said she would fix it. By the time they brought out the "third" version we barely had any time left. It comes time to pay and the bill has Crab Cakes Benedict $20. I mentioned it to the server because what I ate was cheaper and she said "the kitchen told me to charge you that." Excuse me?! You mean the fishy, old crabcakes that could have gotten me sick? Not to mention the inconvenience of waiting. I honestly couldn't believe the audacity. Also, SHAME ON THEM for trying to get away with that--what about someone else that doesn't notice or just acquiesces to not be a bother. Also, two weeks prior when we went, we were about 50% done with our meal and my young daughter suddenly had to use the restroom--I left my keys on the table and smiled at the servers on our way to the bathroom. I come back and our food was thrown out and my keys were at the hostess stand. Really?? They offered to remake the food after the fact but I had to get my daughter to school and we didn't have time. Never again Edit to add my response to the owner's reply: Ron, I'm happy for you and your crab cake business. I love crab cakes which is why I ordered them--there's absolutely no reason for me to not eat them after ordering. To reiterate, within the first bite, I noticed they tasted off, smelled off too--I didn't care to chance food poisoning. In your reply to my review, your accusation that I'm "trying to hurt a small business" is an interesting, if not telling choice of language and one that's quite incendiary. I posted my review on Google & Yelp, the two places that I use for reference. It's curious that you view this as an attempt to essentially dismantle your business. Review systems were put in place so that people can share their experiences and that is exactly what I have done.
