I stuck with the mango again this time and it was fantastic. I spoke with the manager and he appreciated the feedback regarding my second visit and the salted caramel ice cream. They are working hard to make sure the flavors are set before serving, which is awesome to hear! Will definitely be back again!

I saw this spot recently opened and had to come check it out. It appears to be Asian-owned and offers a variety of unique soft serve flavors and desserts. I came on a Thursday around 8:30PM, and the line was out the door. The space itself is very small and narrow, and unfortunately they were sold out of the matcha soft serve I was hoping to try. I ended up getting the Mango Milky Flakes, which reminded me of bingsu and was a refreshing treat. At $10, I thought the portion was a bit overpriced for the size, but I definitely want to come back and try the matcha soft serve next time.

Stumbled across this place very randomly but we're waiting for it to open up! Very clean inside and the soft serve was super creamy, rich, and soft. I really like the somewhat unique flavors--especially being able to mix the Hokkaido & matcha flavors. My daughter loved the strawberry ice cream because there were actual strawberry bits mixed in. The people working were super nice and patient because all 5 of us asked to try almost all of them! I will say it's a little on the pricier side, but can't wait to come back!

Was hoping the line would be short on a Sunday at 8pm but in fact, it was wayyy out the door! We waited about 15 minutes to get inside and then another 10 minutes until check out. It's so new and the staff were being so kind and patient! There's no seating inside but have some seats outside (probably full). There's inside has really cute flowers along the ceiling but it was so warm in there. Can't imagine how hard the workers are working! I sampled the mango ice cream and WOW. It was amazing. I knew I wanted the matcha soft serve and of course, it was amazing. It was so creamy and not too sweet. I already want another one. Can't wait to try the shaved ice cream. That also looked amazing!

Nice and clean shop. Street parking all around. No seats inside but they have a few small chairs and tables outside you can sit at to eat your ice cream. Service was quick and they have soft serve, soft scoops, and few more items on the menu. We opted for the regular scoop of pistachio and ube. You can also taste flavors before purchasing. Both were very creamy! The ube was sweeter than the pistachio, but both had really good flavors. I like how they give you a small waffle to go with the ice cream too. Would return and try out their mango or strawberry flavors.

Milky Flakes - Welcome to the Dub C! It was a nice surprise seeing them open right at the corner of places I dine at and order take out from more often than I should. Nice welcoming logo from the exterior, and classy floral clean interior. I don't want to call them another ice cream shop, as they serve limited flavors of soft serve, soft scoops, and milky flakes (shaved milk snow), and not technically ice cream, so I'm not comparing this spot to ice cream spots as it's rather different (though it's tempting to say ice cream on numerous occasions). Walked in, got in line, and a couple people helped us out. They were welcoming in letting us try samples and encouraged us to do so. I tried a bit of their ube soft scoop and it was really good! I also tried their Hokkaido milk soft serve and that was a pleasant one as well. A bit different than what I've had in Hokkaido, as this one is soft serve and the flavor was a bit different and mild in a good way. The daughter and I didn't feel like going full on dessert so we each ended up getting their soft serve. I got half half of Hokkaido Milk and Matcha, and she got full matcha. The matcha soft serve is topped with some matcha powder (amazing!) and the Hokkaido milk one is topped with some freeze dry strawberries. They can omit if you don't want, but it's highly recommended. Very soft and creamy. The matcha wasn't too sweet at all and was taste-able. What a win!! I'd def come back to try their shaved milk snow as their mango one was calling out to me. I'd also love to order a soft scoop as well. They pair the soft scoops with toppings (see menu photo) that make a lot of sense. The pistachio one really called out to me so I'll prob try that one next time. Their ube was really good as well, and I may get that one as-is (no coconut topping for me, please). Looking forward to seeing additional items/flavors from this dessert spot!

It seemed like Milky Flakes just popped up over night. With the arrival of July comes Milky Flakes in downtown Walnut Creek. I ventured into the store on a Sunday afternoon after the queue of people have disbursed. Unsure of what to get, I opted to sample the Hokkaido Milk and Organic Matcha soft serves. The staff were friendly and asked for my genuine opinion. I confirmed that I appreciated the fresh sweet cream forward flavor of the Hokkaido. Reassured them that there was no scent of vanilla. The organic matcha was also great in the way that its tea forward (not latte/milk forward) and appreciated that it was extremely smooth. After a small pause for reflection, I ordered the Hokkaido Milk Soft Serve, to which they topped it with freeze dried strawberry flakes. It added a subtle but nicely sweet taste as well as a more interesting texture. Will definitely be coming back, especially since this is perfect for the summer.

Happy to finally be able to get matcha soft serve in Walnut Creek! It's one of the things the many nearby ice cream shops do not have! It was deliciously creamy and not overly sweet. There is seating outside with plenty of shade. Looking forward to trying the Hokkaido milk soft serve (was out of stock) and the gelato.

Cute ice cream shop that's a little different than all the rest. Has two soft serve flavors--Hokkaido and matcha, and then 8 fresh ice cream flavors that are being churned as you wait in line. Tried the strawberry, salted caramel, and pistachio and ended up going with pistachio. It was topped with katafi and pistachios, and pretty tasty. The guy at the counter was super friendly and allowed me to taste several flavors before I settled on the one. Def check it out!

Came on opening day! You can try the various soft serves and soft scoops, which are all super smooth and delicious! You can see the soft scoop ice creams being churned right in front of you. Got the Alphonso mango, which comes with a few scoops of fresh mango and a wafer. Service was patient and quick. Very cute shop with an 'instagramable' mirror on the side. Will definitely be back to try all their flavors!

This place is easily my new favorite ice cream spot downtown! The shop is so cute inside, and everything has such a clean, aesthetic vibe. The staff were also super friendly and let us sample a bunch of flavors before we decided, which I really appreciated. Everything tasted so fresh, rich, creamy, and silky. The Hokkaido milk and matcha soft serves were amazing, and I loved that the matcha comes with matcha powder on top. My favorite flavors were the Greek yogurt and pistachio gelato, and matcha soft serve. I also liked that the regular size lets you do half & half flavors and comes with two toppings. Definitely the best new dessert spot downtown, and I'll definitely be back!

A super cute new ice cream shop in Walnut Creek! Super cute and clean inside the store & the employees were very kind. We got: hokkaido soft serve, pistachio soft scoop, strawberry soft scoop, and mango milky flake. All the flavors we got were delicious, we'd definitely come back! Can't wait to try all the other flavors.

Hokkaido with Mangos and Peanut b cups

I had recently saw this place on Beyond the Creek Food/blog and saw it had recently opened. According to the Blog, it had Bingsu/ Korean Shaved Ice, as well as Gelato I had went to my favorite coffee shop after my workout and saw the place was open. I went in and inquired about the flavors and offerings you can choose from. They had 2 flavors which were Hokkaido and Matcha. The toppings were diverse such as Mangos/ Strawberries, mini Peanut Butter cups and many other toppings cookies, nuts and other toppings you find at a Yogurt shop. They also had Gelato flavors like Peanut Butter/ Alphonso Mango, Salted Caramel, Ube and other traditional flavors. The Bingsu and Shaved ice was also available. The counter person also had a Cold Foam you can add to your shaved ice. They take debit cards and also have a few mini tables and chairs outside. They have reasonable hours like 1100-10-pm Mon- Thurs. Frid-Sun 11-11pm. The counter guy also let me know that the Hokkaido is from Japan and lot of the flavors of Gelato are made in-house. Definitely not too sweet but creamy texture on the Hokkaido. Matcha Green tea was also good. Perfect time to open with the Summer time and another dessert option in Dwtwn WC area.

This is one of our favorite places for ice cream. I ordered the mocha almond fudge and it did not…read moredisappoint. It was creamy chocolate with crunchy almonds. I also ordered their salted butter rice crispy treat which I'm hooked on. It's buttery marshmallow good with a light crunch. The service is pretty quick even when there's a line outside. Staff works the line pretty fast. Ambiance is small with one bench only inside for sitting. Cold water is on table for customers. Parking is all meter parking in front, on the side, and in the back of the center too. We walk here as parking can be hard to find.

Amazing! They have…read moresuch unique flavors. There were many to choose from, and I'm so glad I overheard the other customers ahead of us saying that the vanilla salted almond toffee flavor was what they are known for. We ended up getting that flavor as one of our two. For our second flavor of two scoops, we ended up getting the marshmallow neapolitan. -Vanilla salted almond toffee: I can see what the other customers meant for "this is what they're known for." I love that the almond is candied/carmelized with toffee. It gives it a roasty flavor, which gives the flavor so much depth. The almond also gives a bit of crunch/texture, which makes this flavor so unique. -Marshmallow neapolitan: I'm not typically someone who likes marshmallows or goes for neapolitan, as I don't like super sweet and I don't like mixing flavors. You can definitely taste all 3 flavors--vanilla, chocolate, strawberry. The marshmallow doesn't make the ice cream as sweet as I would have thought, it really just adds the marshmallow texture. The ice cream is very thick and creamy. It doesn't melt too fast to meld all the flavors together (which I don't really like), and I really appreciate that the ice cream holds together so well! The gentleman helping us was very patient in letting us try several flavors. The shop had a more old time feel. There is a bench to sit on to eat for a bit, but no tables. Overall, I would totally come back to try their unique flavors!

Today I had the opportunity and I was amaze to see how many orders the gentleman did and how fast it was done, the crepes were delicious! Great place to have coffee, crepes and just hang out with your friends or family! There's indoor and outdoor seating. There's parking right outside or a parking garage a few blocks away. Amazing customer service!!! And from what I heard the gentleman had been running this business for over 28 years.

I've given this place so many chances, but each visit just gets significantly worse. It's so…read moredisappointing because I truly love the crepes that are made here, but the cons unfortunately out weight the pros. Multiple times I drive to this location, they have been closed even when store hours say other wise. There was no signage regarding the closure which left myself and others confused and upset. I don't live super close so having to drive down there just to realize the store is closed is such a let down. Portions have also gotten smaller while prices increase. I understand inflation is a thing, but paying THAT much for a crepe that's about the size of my hand is not preferred. Currently on the look out for a new crepe shop. Hopefully this place gets it together because as mentioned, crepes here are great, but I no longer see myself supporting this business if these issues are ongoing.
