Surfaces were sticky and not very clean, have your wet wipes ready. Good variety of milk teas, coffee, sparklers (carbonated lemonades), slushies, smoothies, sweet teas, and ice cream flavors to choose from. You can even get milk tea topped with ice cream. Toppings and dairy substitutes are available for additional charge. Peach Mangonada - a salty, sugary, sour slushie! Perfect balance of acidity and sweetness. We absolutely love this place because it serves our all-time favorite ice cream flavor....Taro. It's definitely worth the trip from Surprise to get not just one or two pints, but a whole GALLON (although you won't see it in the picture) to take home. As an added bonus, we also tried their milk float, which is like a milk tea with the ice cream flavor on top - a delightful combination! We couldn't resist getting several taro milk teas to-go for our parents and sister. Delicious!!!! Such a fun local spot... this place is owned by the son of the Pho place next door (which is always hopping, I've unfortunately never been able to try it due to my allergies). If you really want to be a local, drop by the asian market next door. Tons of fun authentic products and fruit...especially all the different kinds of plantains! Back to milk run...the staff are extremely friendly and there are tones of fun menu options, one for every mood. This place has some really great mixes and original drinks! We got the matcha coffee (50% sugar, no boba) and original milk tea (25% sugar, no boba). The coffee is made with vietnamese coffee which has a unique taste in and of itself. I didn't taste the matcha too much but it was definitely there (in the texture). Really recommend trying it. The milk tea was also really good. The teas were hard to nail down what they used (oolong and black tea?), but it was definitely a great mix they had going! We came here around 4:00PM on a Monday and the place was pretty busy. This place focuses on the likes of ice cream, tea, frozen drinks, and shakes making it the perfect stop for any type of treat you are craving. I ended up being simple and ordering a two scoop waffle cone with both mint chocolate chip and whatever they call the blue cookie one (I need to start writing down names). The ice cream itself was awesome and even though it collapsed within 60 seconds of getting the cone, the staff gave me a bowl so I was still able to enjoy it. Is it the best ice cream I've ever had? Not by a long shot, but it tasted good and I would certainly get it again. Overall, Milk Run is a solid ice cream joint with tons of other things to make you happy. A small, cute boba store that also offers in house made ice cream located next to delicious pho restaurant. Unfortunately the pho restaurant is closed for the month (lunar new year), which usually drives a lot of the store's traffic. The menu offers lot of standard drinks. The drinks are on the sweeter side, so though I normally order 50% sweetness, our drinks were still a little too sweet. The service was prompt and they allowed us to sample some of the ice cream while we waited! The music here also slaps. Honestly does not compare to boba in Southern California, but this is one of the best boba places in the Phoenix area and we'll take what we can get. read more
