A good old classic spot for lunch and dinner. We Tried: Spinach & Artichoke Dip $18 Steak Sandwich $26 California Spring Salad $16.5 + Chicken Breast $7 Portobello Mushroom Chicken $31 Everything was delicious and definitely worth trying. The steak sandwich and portobello mushroom chicken are my go to orders at Milestone. The steak sandwich is delicious and on the lighter side. The portobello mushroom chicken is perfectly creamy. Spinach & Artichoke Dip & Bailey Cream French Toast

We were looking for a restaurant for lunch/brunch. Milestones was open, I was not keen on eating there, but was pleasantly surprised. We ordered Spinach & Artichoke Dip, I had Mushroom Soup, my husband had Cakes by the Sea, our friend had French Toast, all very good. Steve was our waiter, one of the most pleasant & attentive waiters we've had in years. So appreciative of his demeanour & his service. We were able to have a nice, long visit, with few interruptions & certainly didn't feel that we were being rushed out. If we return, we'll certainly ask to sit in Steve's section.

We were happy that we opted to choose the dine out Vancouver menu at Milestone's. We chose the 3 course lunch for $35. There was either Caesar salad or French onion soup to start. We found the Caesar salad to be tasty, just the right amount of dressing with a few leaves of Kale. A different touch but yummy. For the entrée you can choose beef, chicken, shrimp, or mushroom. Suitable for all palates. I had the shrimp creole which had plenty of shrimp enough for 2 meals! Dessert was either white chocolate cheesecake, chocolate raspberry sorbet or ganache torte. We both had the ganache torte. The menu said almond crust but ended up as a walnut crust. I didn't like the chocolate & walnut combo. Avoid this if you have nut allergies. Portions were plentiful! Their other lunch Dine Out Special was $45 which had more selections but wasn't in my budget. They offer Dine Out for both dinner and lunch with reservations available. If Dine Out isn't for you, they had an extensive regular menu to suit all appetites. Take advantage of their happy hour from 3 - 6 pm with deals on appies, wine, and beer. Located at the far west side of Park Royal, there's plenty of complimentary parking. Good food and great value!

I went to this place on Sunday early lunch. This place is located at one end of the Park Royal Mall and it was pretty quiet when I arrived. This place has a beautiful patio and a great bar near the entrance. I was seated at a booth near the bar table. On that day, I ordered the Roast Beet and Goat Cheese Salad. The dish tasted great and presently beautiful on the plate. The beet was a little under-cooked but it added texture to the salad. The goat cheese were a pair with the blue berries and the greens. The service was great and the staff were friendly and polite. I would come back for a second seating since they closed doen all location in downtown and I would try other dishes as well.

Grilled Sirloin w/ rice for dinner on 2/15/2020

AFTER THE FACT I am actually really surprised at the rating for this location and I am glad I did not look this up on Yelp beforehand. LOCATION Very easy to be located off the main street as it does have a nice broadway-like sign in front of the restaurant. I wanted to find a dining spot that was close to my Airbnb so I did a quick browse on my Google map and saw this spot. PARKING The restaurant has it's own designated parking lot so that is nice. And perhaps to the locals, this place ain't a place they would dine whereas us visitors - we do not know any better? Thus, a whole lot of parking spots available. SERVICE Sweet young ladies greeted me and seated me. Soon after, my waiter (in which I have forgotten her name) came and took my full order (because I am a very decisive person). Throughout my time there, she was nice, warm, professional and checked-in on me adequate times. FOOD I ordered the Sirloin Steak with rice. It was good. So good that I even tried their dessert and that was good as well. VERDICT I would totally come back here and try other locations.

    Pesto chicken penne Asiago
    Kim R.

Stopped in this weekend for a first visit. The atmosphere and decor is pleasant and sleek, however, our menus and seats weren't completely clean. We ordered the chicken Cesar salad and the pesto chicken penne Asiago for our meals, and artichoke spinach dip for an appetizer. While all the food was hot and looked appealing, it was all quite average...everything had a frozen, "restaurant chain" taste. As for the menu selection, we found it to be quite limited. The service was friendly and fast however, and the location good. Our overall experience was just ok...I'm not so sure the food stood out enough to bring us back.

    Ahi Tuna Power Bowel
    Tina A.

Went to Milestones Park Royal last night with my partner. The service was great. The presentation of food was good but the taste was very mediocre. Ordered the Spicy Thai Basil Noodles but it has no basil in the entire dish. The waitress was kind enough to ask the kitchen to clarify and said there may be some basil in the sauce they use but there was none!! The noodles had no spicy taste. Plus it was too thick and hard. We were so hungry so we ate it anyway, but for $21 plus tax and tip, we expected it to be better than Thai Express, which it was not :( For the Ahi Tuna Power Bowel, the chilled kale noodles are slimy. The butternut squash and golden beets are too hard compared to the tuna, not very pleasing combination. For $23, we expected it to be better than Cactus. Overall, we left full, which is good, but not satisfied. The food quality is really left to be desired. :(

Prime Rib Hash: prime rib, potatoes, bell peppers, onions, roasted corn, two poached eggs, hollandaise sauce and a grilled foccaccia bread.

Not as good as the last time we came. Food was good overall but service fell short somewhat…read more Came here with family. We all ordered our own individual dishes. I just had an Original Gimbap and a Vege Gimbap for myself. It was a hot summer's day so I just didn't feel like ordering hot food. Everyone else ordered hot food though. My daughter has been getting into Tonkatsu at Japanese restaurants for awhile now. So when she saw Chicken Katsu on the menu here, she decided to give that a try. It was just OK for her. No comparison to any of the pork Tonkatsu dishes that she's been having at Japanese restaurants. She still ate it all up though and it was a huge portion. Other dishes on the table included Seafood Noodles, Pork Kimchi Stew, Soft Tofu Stew, Fried Chicken, and Kimchi Fried Rice. My one gripe would be that they took a super long time bringing out my daughter's Chicken Katsu. Everyone else had their food for quite awhile but she sat waiting and waiting for her Chicken Katsu. When we asked about it, they said it was coming soon. But that's what they always say when you ask about something that's taking a long time to come, right? Wondering if they actually completely forgot about it and then put in a rush order at the kitchen when we brought it up.

Great little neighbourhood spot for Korean food at lunch…read more I stopped by with coworkers and this place is a solid 4/5. Favorite item was the pork belly with kimchi. It's over fire on a hotplate/pan with the meat all around and kimchi in the middle. Perfect with rice or on it's on. The Japchae had plenty of beef and veggies. The potato noodles weren't overcooked and was a great consistency. The seafood tofu soup was favorful with clams and mussels. The raw beef was too frozen and needed to sit out longer. However, the flavor was still good, but I don't know if I'd order it again. The service was excellent and attentive.

The portions are huge and every dish is made with quality ingredients. French onion grilled cheese with shoestring fries: I got a nice cheese pull out of this, it satisfied all my cheesy cravings. It came with a generous amount of fries. Denver-ish breakfast bowl: order this if you want a nice variety for breakfast. I added avocado and it was so satisfying. Bacon eggs benny on housemade buttermilk biscuits with hashbrowns: fresh hollandaise over perfectly cooked eggs. The buttermilk biscuit is so much better than an English muffin. I absolutely loved the shredded hashbrowns. Strawberry milkshake: you need to try their hand spun milkshakes! Topped with whipped cream and sprinkles, I felt like a kid again.

It's bright and airy, even on a rainy nasty day on the West Coast. The decor is awesome in our mind, very diner driven and classy. The glass into the kitchen itself offers a glimpse into the line cook life. The service was top notch, the space is clean and tables are turned with precision. Nothing to quibble with overall, but the food itself was just average, and just that alone is not where a small place like this should be. The hash browns were bordering on overdone and were not plentiful. One piece of toast is always a pet peeve of mine, though the multigrain was good. The Romesco really had little taste and was almost a little dry. I had trouble speeding it around and ended up eating most of it in one bite, which I am sure is not the ideal scenario. K had the grilled cheese sandwich with onions. The fries were great but the sandwich was lacking in cheese and onions which isn't ideal. We also had three go arounds with our English Breakfast tea and the cream curdling once added. The date on the cream was far in advance and the cream was cold, so not sure what the issue was. I actually asked specifically for milk when ordering, so it didn't excite me to have this happen. They finally brought milk with the third tea try, K used it, I didn't bother. Small thing, but I like my tea while waiting for my meal, not with it or halfway through it. That all said, everyone was happy, seemed to enjoy the food and service and there appear to be alot of locals. We will certainly give the Douce another go, and hope that it's a far better experience.

I found out very quickly that the venue had been charging patrons for my tickets, which was not agreed on, so who knows how many people they never paid me for who were forced to pay them for my show rather than the performers getting the profits. At the end of the night they refuse to pay me the agreed-upon compensation for running the show and drawing in a crowd, gaslit me, and were incredibly hostile and rude. They said I should have gotten in 200 people with no stage view and given them the ticket sales. I literally had more than double the people I've had at other shows where I was paid more compensation and the owners were incredibly happy. The manager lied that the owner had left when he was right there. The owner eventually agreed to pay us half what was promised, and then the manager and his wife literally gave us a third of what we were owed. Went back to the owner at the back, when they said that he had left again and told us to gtfo, and again the owner told them to pay us, and then they cheated me out of an extra $20 and told us they didn't care about our patron's business. Not a single person at this bar is Australian, the nachos and poutine I tried sucked and were gross. They charged my performers for food and drinks when they agreed they'd cover it. I was told by other people that they charged them for extra drinks. This is the worst experience I've ever had at a venue or in a decade of running shows. And the manager threatened to cancel me from other venues for expect pay agreed on, as I have at all shows.
