I wanted to share a couple of reviews regarding the outstanding service I received from your Technicians at my home this past weekend. Due to being enrolled in your MAM plan, I requested a check up on my A/C unit and William Whitton was the first to arrive to give me an assessment. He was very kind and quite knowledgeable, and after seeing the sad condition my A/C and furnace was in, I took his advice and requested replacements. He even made the call right then and someone was on their way. Talk about customer service, I was very impressed and grateful. Next to arrive were Ernest and ? I'm sorry I didn't get the 2nd man's name, but both Technicians were absolutely wonderful. They were so polite and courteous and even though I asked several questions, never once did either of them fail to help me understand the process. They both worked so hard and late into the evening hours, and never once did they complain even though it was at least 85 degrees in my attic. God bless them. Then, to my amazement they not only cleaned up the area they were working in, but they also cleaned up the attic area and my garage ! I was prepared to do it myself but they informed me that it was all part of Milestone 's service. A huge thank you for that. On Saturday, 2 more technicians arrived, Adam and Jose to clean and seal my ductwork. These 2 gentleman did a fine job as well. They walked me through the process, answered all my questions, and began their work. They were so detailed throughout the entire process that I couldn't have said thank you enough. Jose even vacuumed all areas where vents were located. Who does that? Only your Company Milestone offers such fine service and always with a smile. I'm so pleased with my new A/C and Furnace and clean duct work. I wanted you to know that you should be very proud of those Technicians that work for you that provided me with outstanding service. I am normally pretty handy around the house but I had a couple of electrical projects that I just did not feel comfortable tackling myself. This first project was the installation of a timer on our pool's waterfall feature. It sounds simple enough but there are a lot of electrical cables associated with our pool and I was afraid that I would accidently break something. I also had some outside electrical outlets that were not working and I could not track down the issue. I called a couple of electricians that I found via the web including Milestone Electric. Milestone Electric was the only company that would give me straight answers to my questions. For example, most of the internet listings said something about $50 off for new customers. The other electrician companies said that it was already taken into account in their pricing and I got the feeling that they were not honoring the discount as stated. Milestone Electric took the $50 right off the top of my bill. I am not saying that Milestone Electric was the cheapest but they were defiantly the most straight forward with regards to their pricing. The person that scheduled my appointment was very professional and efficient. My only issue is that they were not able to get to my house until the next morning. They said that it was already too late in the day for same day service. The electrician that showed up at my house did a great job. I believe his name was Jimmy Dale. Jimmy Dale was very helpful. He looked at my two issues and explained what he could do to correct my problems. The pricing that Jimmy Dale reviewed with me was straight forward and fair and he was able to complete my work that day. He was also very respectful of my property - no muddy shoes, cleaned up, etc. The best thing about Milestone Electric is that there were no problems and the work was completed in a professional manor for the stated price. Milestone is a really great company! I actually posted a review last week of a technician that came out to our house, but I called Milestone again because we were initially told by the technician that it would be cheaper to replace the bathroom light fixture instead of troubleshooting the one we had. Well, we went out and bought a new light fixture and I was going to call Milestone back to install it for us. In the meantime, I decided to put a different size bulb in the one we had and it worked!!!! I emailed Milestone and told them about my concern and why were we told to buy a new fixture and Rob, the service manager, helped me out dramatically. He was concerned that we could have an electrical short somewhere, so he sent two new technicians out to take a look at my fixture. Aaron M and Brandon M, came to my home and they were the best!!!! They told my exactly what the problem was with my fixture and they even cleaned the 10 years of dust off of it for me!!!! I'm really happy because I was still able to use my same fixture for the time being. Aaron and Brandon even fixed a plug in one of my rooms at no charge that would have eventually caused a hazard if it wasn't changed out. I will be calling them out so that I can get my other outlets upgraded. I was really happy that they told me about the MAM Program and I signed up for it because it really is a great investment to have. Milestone, thank you so much for being a company that really cares about the safety of your customers. The service manager did not have to send anyone else out, but he did because even though the first technician, Phillip was helpful, there was still a tad bit of miscommunication and I am very, very pleased that you went out of your way to make sure everything was right. Darrell and Oscar were the tech's sent by Milestone to hang a couple of light fixtures, install an electrical outlet as well as a full home surge protection system. Both Darrell and Oscar were friendly and professional and on time. First, I was surprised to learn that Milestone even hung light fixtures! But when you have 16' ceiling's you don't want just anyone hooking up your electrical fixtures, so it was a blessing. GREAT customer service: I had purchased the wrong LED color lights for my chandelier and didn't realize it. Darrell had noticed that the other LED lights in our home were day light and asked me if I wanted the soft white to go into the chandelier as it would make my gray walls more yellow. I was so thankful he noticed that! I of course said, "no" and he moved on to another project while I ran to the store and purchased the day light LED's I meant to purchase originally. This meant a lot to me because Darrell could have just placed the bulbs and said anything and later I would have noticed and been disappointed and would have lived with yellow walls as they would have been more then 16' feet in the air! But now my walls are the gray they are suppose to be :~) That was excellent customer service which is hard to find these days. Also, because I live in a Craftsman style home the other fixture he and Oscar hung I was planning on putting in edison bulbs, Darrell informed me that Home Depot carries LED edison bulbs, again I had no idea and appreciated the information so I picked those up while I was exchanging my other light bulbs and they look great! I have been so disappointed lately with companies...it seems that people just don't care about providing good service anymore. This was NOT THE CASE with Milestone. They hold true to the family aspect and care about good customer service and take it to the 110% they promise! Thank you. read more

I recently had the unfortunate experience of availing a free HVAC tune-up service from Milestone. While the idea of a complimentary tune-up was appealing, the aftermath of their visit left me deeply dissatisfied and questioning their practices. During the supposed "tune-up," the technicians managed to swap the cooling and heating cables, leading to significant issues with my HVAC system. While the technician was here, we noticed a burning smell coming through the ducts after calling it to his attention he allegedly "fixed"it and provided a new cable unbeknownst to us he still connected it incorrectly and the burning smell continued after left. As a result, my home's indoor climate became unbearable. The system would turn on and off constantly for the next 5 hours until it was able to be corrected by someone else. It was evident that their lack of expertise and negligence caused this problem. When I contacted the company to address the issue, they were unresponsive and seemed disinterested in rectifying their mistake. Their lack of accountability and professionalism only added to my frustration. The fact that this happened during a "free" service raises concerns about their intentions. It almost feels like a predatory practice, using the guise of a complimentary service to create problems and then charging for additional repairs. I cannot recommend Milestone based on this experience. Their actions not only resulted in inconvenience and discomfort but also displayed a lack of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. I advise others to approach their services with caution and consider alternatives to avoid similar issuest. read more

I am a long-time customer of Milestone Electric. I've never had a situation they couldn't fix. Sometimes they are busy and I have to wait longer than I want to for a service call but I think they're worth the wait in non-emergency situations. They inspect the electrical panels as a courtesy on every trip out. I called them on Mon Oct 12 and got an appointment for next day, first call. Our tech this time was Kyle. He arrived on time to address my latest list of requests. Two items (pool light) and overhead light (back door) were resolved at no charge. :) These were pretty much user error issues on my part. We wanted a security light and motion sensor on house to spotlight driveway and Kyle asked us a lot of questions about what we wanted. He showed us what area would be detected by the sensor and spotlit by the lights. He explained the warranty and cost up front and he had the equipment on his truck. We are thrilled with this installation. It is fun to trip the sensor when I arrive home at night. The LED lighting is fantastic. We also wanted him to address the lighting sensor on our garage. The lights should be off in daylight and on when the sky is dark. Our sensor on the shaded side of our garage. Over time as trees grew and shade ensued the sensor's effectiveness died. Kyle explained that he could install a new sensor with a knuckle joint that aimed the sensor to the north and that our lights would go on and off as we wanted. He gave us the estimate and had the equipment on his truck. Moving the sensor to another side of my garage was cost-prohibitive and unnecessary. Every single service person who has ever come out to our home over the time we have used Milestone services exhibits these high standards. They take the time to explain things in detail, answer all questions and complete the task to the customer's satisfaction. Our tech, Branton Harden came out for our HVAC air conditioning check and was extremely thorough in his inspection. He carefully explained everything in detail with all the various options, all the while being friendly and answering all questions. When the techs, Gary Sparks and Steve Bustos came out to follow up on the numerous options provided us by Branton, they too took the time and effort to go over everything, answer all questions. They were extremely helpful and did not pressure us in any way, but made certain that we understood everything so that we were able to make an informed decision as to how we wanted to proceed. I am extremely satisfied that Milestone offers excellent customer service, good products at a reasonable cost, as well as technicians with superb expertise. We had to get our exterior lights replaced due to water from our sprinkler system burning them out. On my first appointment, Milestone missed our 2-hr time frame due customer service accidentally forgetting to change the date due to me re-scheduling. When I called, the were very apologetic and graciously waived their service fee and quickly provided a solution to the problem by getting an electrician out immediately. Their service was excellent over the phone and in person. I was pleased to get a person and not a recording. Our technician, Roger was very knowledgeable, professional and explained all aspects of the work to be done. He was very considerate to put shoe covers on before entering the home, took away all the trash and even supplied the floodlights I didn't have. He had to return a second time to install the lights we ordered, and the same courtesy and professionalism was displayed. And on his next visit, to replace the additional light I needed to order, I am sure it will be just as consistent. I received a thank you card from him shortly after his visits and a follow up call from the customer service. Those two things are something that are rare to receive in the service industry today. I would recommend Milestone Electric to anyone who needs a referral, especially since the first company we called, never showed up...and called hours after their missed time frame...and acted like they didn't care...That company should should learn from Milestone. read more

Milestone Electric is who we ALWAYS call when we have electrical issues at the house or my husband's office because we have been so impressed with the customer service of Milestone Electric. The moment you contact Milestone Electric, the positive experience begins. The person who answers the phone to set up the appointment always answers the phone with a smile and is so helpful. The four times we have used Milestone Electric, we were scheduled quickly and at a time most convenient for us. I know this may not be impressive to some folks, but I loved the way the electrician placed booties over his shoes when arriving at my home. I never even knew Milestone Electric had been to my home when they were finished with installation of new plugs and lighting because the electrician cleaned the area before he departed. The electricians are always friendly and I feel safe when they are in my home or our office. I also like that the electricians let me know of other services that could save me money in the long run. Milestone Electric has fixed minor electrical problems for us, but they have also added surge protection at our meter to protect our appliances and security lighting. I moved to Plano 2 years ago. Bought a home built in 1991 and immediately found I needed an electrician. Sorry to say, I did not call Milestone. This past week I was forced to call an electrician. After the firemen came, I called Milestone as an emergency. 1 hour later, Joe Camache and Charles came. They searched to find what was "burning" in my home. They searched everywhere. They weren't able to find what was burning but Joe left me his phone number just in case. 2 days later they returned. I received a phone call 45 minutes before they arrived to let me know they were coming. They wore "booties" whenever entering my home and took them off when leaving. They found problems inside my home's wiring but the biggest thing is when they found that the city's wiring to my outside box was burning up. The aluminum wires were melted and the connections weren't right. My electric meter was turning triple time. Joe told me what to say to the electric company and to say it was an emergency. Joe and Charles were able to talk with the electric company emergency man and get everything corrected. These 2 worked through lunch. They never stopped. Replaced my smoke detectors, added a few things. Always with a smile and explaining as they went. I will always call Milestone to do my electrical work. No doubt. And unless Joe and Charles aren't available, I will always request these 2 young men to do the work. read more
