Very competitive pricing, scheduled my appointment for the next day (on a Saturday), and I was able to get Wackeys (the funky colored keys, he had A LOT of different kinds) for cheaper than they charge at Home Depot. He came on time, and was $40 cheaper than the first guy that I called. (That was AFTER I made 3 Wackeys and replaced an entire doorknob!). Gary was extremely professional and helpful. Gary was a life saver. I was just about to take my boat out and notice as well as felt that the ignition switch was bad. Boat shops and everybody else was trying to rip me off. If I could give a rating of no stars I would.. This guy who claims to be the owner of the business showed up to my house for a simple key change. While he was here we discussed using some nice hardware i already had.. He said no problem it's great hardware very nice.. He stated he had a used wrap around to cover the edge and to hide all of the previous hardware locations.. He took 3 hours to get this stuff on.. Mind you it's now 10 pm ..Fighting it left and right.. It wasn't working well.. It took a little modification to make it work but he finally got it on.. Now time to set the strike plate.. He absolutely mangled my door jamb in the process. He was hungry and thirsty so I gave him pizza and water.. He couldn't get his card reader to work on his phone so I could pay him so he said he would come back the next day and I would pay him.. No problem.. I called him when I got home and said " hey man I've got your money but I've gotta take all this stuff off and get it redone because your install looks really bad"he replied " maybe if you didn't smoke so much weed we wouldn't be here..And then I cut him off... "Excuse me?!?!" I said..I was so appalled that I hung up on him and waited for his arrival.. He pulls up to my house and I walk out to meet him and I say "that was completely disrespectful and unnecessary and I tossed his money on his windshield 205$ and he proceeds to say that's why your girlfriend left you cause your a little boy then says I'm video taping you I said fine! Video tape this! He came up and videoed the shitty install he did..with nothing to say but your house smells like weed and that's why your girlfriend left you.. You know what asshole.. Long story short but basically the dealership was trying to screw my friend out of 170.00 for a set of keys......miles came to the dealership and wasn't able to even use the keys they made......He made a new set...and did everything the dealership was supposed to do and more ...HE SAVED THE DAY! !! AFTERWARDS he also helped her get a refund on the 170.00 from the scandalous dealership....The dealership was trying to get over on females (because they think we are dumb) and miles stood up and said he would never take advantage of his customers like that. .....miles is AWSOME!! I called to get an approximate price for my locks and this guy was so rude. He went on and on about all these different lock types listing the ways he could NOT help me IF my locks were like A, B, and C and wouldnt even listen long enough to hear me when I told him the type of locks I DO have and what I wanted replaced. Rude, no listening skills, bad customer service, attitude problem and way more expensive than the place that did provide quality product and service. read more

One night i locked my keys in my car. It was late and after previously calling 5 other locksmiths with no luck, Miles answered the phone. He got to me when he said he would, which was awesome since I was in a bad part of town and alone. He got into my car without breaking anything and he didn't charge me an arm and a leg. I wouldn't dare give this gentleman even a single star! It's unfortunate that I have to award a star! This morning I called and spoke to a gentleman that stated he would be able re-key 4 locks for me this afternoon at 230. He was charging a $65 service fee, then subsequently $12.50 per each re-key. He insisted on 230 stating that it was the only time available and it would only take 45 minutes. Despite my requests for a morning appointment, I moved my schedule around to accommodate him! Only except, 230 came around and not a phone call/text that he was running late or that he still needed to pick up the equipment. I text him an hour later and he finally responds with "running late"...? At 345pm I decide to call him and he responds with, "I'm running late and got behind do you still need me to come out?".... Not an apology, not even a sincere response or time frame of when he would be arriving! When I proceeded to tell him I still needed 4 re-keys, he continued to angrily respond with "do you still need me to come out?". When I told him yes and that I turned away other locksmiths that had availability he said "well I got busy". I asked him for an ETA and his rude reply was "well there's traffic time and I still need to pick up all the parts so I don't know"! Once I started to express my dissatisfaction, that he could of called me earlier if he had known he was running late and wouldn't make the appointment, he continued to make rude responses and then straight up hung up on me! Please do not utilize this mans services!! He has no regard for customer service and clearly, his work will only be as good as his word- not even worth 1 star! Save your hard earned money for a different locksmith!!!! You are far safer!!! read more

Why even 1 star? I didn't really get any services. I lost the keys to my car and was calling around. I call miles locksmith as one of the people on the list. I was leaving a voicemail and he already was calling me back. I didn't check to see if the phone number was the same as I am at work and why would I remember this number off hand? I picked up and asked oh sorry is his miles locksmith I just left a message I'm calling a lot of locksmiths. His reply was what do you need? he was abrupt and didn't really confirm if it was miles. And then I go oh so this is miles? (Keep in mind I'm calling a list and writing the companies and their prices) and he didn't reply. So I said I need a key and gave my model and make and area and he said k hold on and then after a 2 minute hold hung up on me. I'm still looking for service but am not calling back. If the hang up was on accident I'd assume he cared about customer service and his business he would call me back. Still no call. read more
