We just had the most excellent experience with these guys. Dalton and John were super nice, fast, careful with our treasures, and flexible with scheduling. I really could not ask for a better experience. We were moving my mom, and had deliveries to three locations (2 in Lakewood and one in Monument). They were super careful with antiques, even to the point of being willing to extend the last drop-off into a second day because they didn't want to pack the truck around the valuable furniture. There was not a scratch on anything, nothing damaged in any way. They were also very professional yet personable. I truly had an excellent experience here. Super nice guys and I highly recommend them. Lastly, don't let the reviews scare you. These guys are Milehigh Moving Company (Milehigh is one word, not like Yelp has it). There is another company that has a really similar name which is not these guys. And once upon a time they had a guy working there who was double-booking and caused some problems. But my experience was excellent. And, as a huge bonus, they charge much less than the competitors that I talked to. read more

Very unpleasantly surprised. Used their services before and it was great. However, this time, it was terrible. I touched base with them weeks before the move, and Dalton texted me the night before asking me if "we were still on". The next day, no one from the group called, texted, or emailed me. mile high moving moved the furniture out in order to redo our hardwood floors. While moving the furniture back in place they put a small ding in one of the bedroom walls. In order to repair it we had to buy an entire gallon of paint to get the correct match. Dalton said he would share the cost with us, but never did. Sharon Burke did a great job of selling us on this company to move us from Beaverton Oregon to Show Low Arizona. I truely trusted them. Wrong - the people working for this company really try. They got us packed and stored for 2 weeks. But they contracted us out with another company out of Nevada. Really scary people on the phone. All my calls to Denver were never returned. No one willing to help us resolve any of the issues. It ended up that it costed us $1000 more to get our moving van unloaded. Even the guys working for this company were afraid to call their boss. This company was stressful to deal with. From the start of our move to the delivery of our household furnitures. They were 2 days late from the agreed packing schedule. Not careful on how they packaged our furnitures. I just started looking at our living room and dining room furnitures (which I was careful in taking care of them). My furnitures have deep, heavy gauges and scratches which I will have to pay a lot of money to have fixed:repair or just replace with new ones. My husband said it will be a hassle going after them as they will only pay pennies to the dollar I will have to spend for repairs or new furnitures . Very disappointed and heartbroken since I spend hard earned money in buying them. I have not opened some boxes yet since we are re painting the new home. Now I'm scared of what I will find broken when I start opening boxes. read more

One of their competitors (Amazing Moves) never showed up the previous day, and in desperation, I contacted this company out of the blue and they were able to come the next morning! Imagine that on such a short notice! The best part is they handled our furniture and belongings if it were their own. They are no-nonsense professionals with years of experience. And when it came to maneuvering large furniture through tight areas and doorways, they were downright surgical in their coordination! I had a wonderful experience with John and Dalton who worked tirelessly to move my belongings from the second floor of a house all the way up 4 flights of stairs to an apartment in Cap Hill. They showed up early and were very efficient and quick to load up my items (it took less than hour!), they even offered to load up some items that I had planned to bring in my car! They only took one quick break at a gas station to hydrate and then were back at it traversing up ALL those flights of stairs. They were able to successfully unload all my belongings from start to finish in about 2 1/2 hours which I was pleasantly surprised! These guys were professional, respectful, and polite. No games or stretching out time for more money. I would highly recommend them and will definitely be using them again in the future! read more

Honestly couldn't have had a better experience with MileHigh Moving Company. We moved from a Third floor apartment, 40 stairs, with no elevator to a single family home about 25minutes away. John and his partner worked super fast and methodically to safely pack and transport all of our belongings. I had several pieces of furniture, some of which was fragile and susceptible to scratching. They wrapped everything in blankets and took care of it as if it were their own. Some notes: -MHMC is priced competitively, but you are absolutely paying good money for great work. -Assume about 95 bucks an hour for two dudes who know what they are doing. -To that point, You can expedite the process by doing a couple things. 1. Pack your stuff in a way that reduces the number of trips necessary for their team to get it loaded securely. That means, Use decent boxes and use them correctly. Well packed boxes can be stacked and moved in twos if not too heavy and if secured properly. -2. Get your ass moving :) You can help move stuff to the truck and reduce the number of minutes spent loading. tl;dr We had a 2 bedroom apartment with around 50 boxes, a sectional, two beds, a futon and an entertainment center loaded into a 26ft truck, driven 25minutes away, unloaded and closing paperwork signed in 3 hours flat. Nobody was pussyfootin' on this day and we came in well under budget. These dudes busted ass and they have years and years of experience. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY This Company should be reported to the Better Business Bureau and shut down. They were 4 hours late from the scheduled time, they didn't use any form of padding so my furniture was scratched, and they ripped the vinyl on my couch as they attempted to move it through a door (almost destroying the couch altogether). They called their boss to ask about giving us a discount to cover the couch damages and the boss not only refused, but verbally harassed us on the phone and threatened us with legal implications. Email confirmation went out to confirm Saturday at 9am; however, I accidentally put 10/30, but the day before my move, no one called to confirm. I requested 9am and since I was the first one scheduled there should not have been a problem. I called him at 9:02 and he had the audacity to tell me, he told me the movers would be there between 9-10, who does that? If I am the first move of the day why am I waiting later than 9 for service. He was very rude and even disconnected the call, called back with a different attitude and told me the movers would be there between 12-3, guess what...I'm still waiting for that call. BEWARE- they do not use any padding on furniture! Damaged multiple pieces of my furniture, one beyond repair because of using a dolly to move a solid wood armoire with no padding. The movers hid the damage during delivery and I didn't find it until after I paid and they were gone. Now the manager or owner (Nate) will not cover the damage and does not call back. They say they are insured but they don't file any claims they said. Good rates but horrible service!!! Do not use this company if you care about the condition of your items. Also caused drywall damage moving items into my new home. Overall, not worth the savings. You get what you pay for. read more

I LOVE this company. A couple of weeks ago they helped me move from South Denver to Cap Hill. Dalton and John were absolutely wonderful. So polite and professional. They worked quickly, but also took extreme care with all of my breakables and my antique cabinet. Nothing was broken or scratched!!!! They are also quite affordable without hidden costs (no extra fees for stairs)! Hopefully I won't have to move for a while, but if I do I will be using them for all future moves. Worst moving experience ever. Lost and damaged thousands of dollars in furniture and lost home goods. 1 person showed up to deliver 3 bedroom 2 bath home. When we turned in a claim that showed pictures and amounts of the damage and loss, we were told that it would be settled in 30 - 60 days with a check for the settled damages. It has been a year and we still have never received the damage reimbursement. For long distance, this was the worst company we have ever dealt with. read more

These guys absolutely outstanding - they were able to schedule the move with only two days' notice and for a weekend no less, they showed up within a half our of on-time and called in advance to say when exactly they'd be arriving, they hustled - even despite the two floors of stairs, they went very quickly. This is for today 12/17/16. We have a bad snow storm. Was told they would keep me posted. Move was scheduled between 9 and 10 am. After not hearing from them by 9:30, decided to check in. Got a call saying "No, we're not good to go for today, it's too much". I understand not being able to do the move because of the weather but a call before the scheduled time would have been nice so I could have made alternative plans. Unfortunately they are the slowest movers on the planet who have to take smoke breaks every hour. My little sister who is 5'3 and I could move the house in less than 2 hours and have done so twice before but these guys took over 4hours! They showed up an hour late and then overcharged me. The guy even apologized for being slow then took another smoke break.( 30mins of smoke breaks in less than 2 hours) They even snuck in a supposed service fee which was never discussed(mostly to make up for their slowness). Where they carried one chair down the stairs I carried two and I just had a major surgery and I'm female who is even older than them! I had a great experience moving with Dalton and Chris. They picked my stuff up, drove it to my destination across state lines, and unloaded it all in ONE day! I didn't have to wait days for my stuff to be unloaded. They were great at communicating before and during the move, were on time, courteous, and moved my things carefully, quickly, and with no issues. Pros: They were pretty fast and definitely cheaper than other movers I've used. Cons: They had to make a second trip back to my apartment for another load. I gave them the garage door opener to get in, and stayed at my new place to unpack. Bad move. After they were done moving and left, I realized they never gave me back the garage door opener. $50 lost to my apartment company. They also misplaced the power charger to my son's power wheels car. Which was sitting right inside the car so not sure what they did with it. Another $50 lost. I called Nate, the supposed owner, the next day to inquire about these two items. I assumed they were left in the cab or something. He says he'll look into it, but never calls back and I give up. THEN, I go back to my apartment the next day to do a final cleaning, and they left the garage door wide open when they left! And there were a few boxes still sitting there. Luckily nothing was stolen. But it easily could have been, given that my apartment was basically left wide open for 24 hours because of these guys. Next time, I would just use a more expensive, reputable service. read more

I don't know who or what these people were working with, but they couldn't be the people that I just worked with!!! I was almost getting ready to be charged $600 and more with other moving companies. $59 per hour with no stupid BS fees, down to Earth people, and VERY FAST move. They finished my one bedroom in less than 2 hours. They were very careful with my things, even drove slow to make sure they didn't juggle things around. If you are looking for just a straight up move minus all the unnecessary things that other moving companies try to make you go through, you should check this company out!!! read more

I have waited until just recently to write a review...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY....I paid for insurance for full coverage damage...they charged me 300.00 for this insurance....they moved me and caused over 38,000.00 in damages....John the owner said he would take care of everything....LIAR!!! he said the insurance company wouldn't pay because the truck wasn`t in an accident that the truck was improperly packed. They were extremely slow. It took them over 7 hours to complete my move. Charge me over $700 plus tip. One of the guys kept taking smoke breaks every time I saw him. I could not be more pleased with this move. I will definitely use this company again. I purchased a 3 hr. moving deal on Living Social but cancelled it when the company did not return my calls after 48 hrs. of waiting. Milehigh Moving from Morrison, CO answered the first time and we scheduled for 6 days later. They picked up furniture today in Capitol Hill and delivered it to Green Valley Ranch near DIA. I was prepared, packed and ready to go but I was still surprised they finished so fast. Nothing was damaged or broken, including an IKEA cabinet that is basically 4 sides of glass with a top and bottom. I have contacted this company to tell them they can use my name as a reference. The guys were nice enough and strong enough, but the service they provided was TERRIBLE!!! They were sooooo slow!! They couldn't have moved slower if they were offered a bonus for taking as much time as possible. These guys are paid by the hour, and it seemed to me that they were trying to stretch it out as far as possible. We had a very straight forward move - everything was already boxed up and placed as efficiently as possible. Before they even arrived, we had shrink wrapped our own items, had mattresses already in bags, 90% of boxes were in the lower-level family room so they didn't even have to take the stairs for most items, etc. We don't have a lot of furniture, heavy or fragile items. It took them over 3 hours to slowly load things into the truck. It got to the point where we started loading the truck as well. When we got to our new house (2 miles away), we also unloaded the truck. All of our things didn't fit in one truck, but we sent them away and did the rest ourselves. We couldn't get them out of there fast enough. Then, they damaged our concrete driveway while trying to back their truck up into it (there is a bit of a hill) - they didn't even seem to care - just kept on going!! If we hadn't done the heavy lifting, they would have easily milked at least another 4 hours out of us. NEVER AGAIN!! I paid good money trying to save my family's back - what a joke! I've hired movers before that were great - clearly worked hard and didn't slack off. These guys were complete slackers - what a rip off!! Oh, and you have to pay in cash or they charge a 4% fee for using a credit card. Well, when they charge by the hour (and then 15 minute increments after 2 hours), and you have no idea how long they are going to make it drag on, that's kind of a pain have the right amount of cash available. read more

These people are the WORST moving company I have ever seen!! I moved from a one bedroom apartment to a one bedroom apartment and some items into a storage unit. The two young men they sent to make this simple move were as slow as molasses!! I am 70 yrs old and I moved faster then these two guys! They did not shrink wrap any of my furniture so the doors and drawers were flung open in their truck! Two of my drawers were broken The two men were smokers and took multiple cigarette breaks. They spent over 30 minutes looking for a screwdriver to detach the mirror from the triple dresser! I don't know for sure, but I believe they were on some kind of drugs ~ they seemed really out of it! They could not complete my simple move in one day, so they had to store some of my stuff in their truck overnight and I was charged for overnight storage! I had MANY broken possessions and ALL my furniture was scratched and/or scraped, (I discover a new problem they created every day!). I had marked the things I wanted in my storage unit with bright, florescent duct tape, but that was completely ignored and I had to do a lot of the moving by myself ~ they were totally irresponsible! They were overly concerned about their payment and then I was grossly over charged. This move cost me over $900.00!! They originally told me there was a $750.00 cap, and then told me that didn't apply to me when I paid them. It was the biggest nightmare ever!! I fully intend to take legal action just as soon as I document all the damages they are responsible for, (the list is extremely lengthy and continues to grow)!!
