Best movers ever! I have had to move numerous times in the course of my 70 years. Some of my moves have been by me and friends. Some by professional movers. I have been fortunate to have good professional movers in the past. On this occasion I needed to use pods because there was a gap in time from moving out of one house and moving into the new house. I called Mile High Movers and " Nick" quoted me a rate and approximate labor time based on my information. He called back to confirm the movers arrivals the day before, just as he he had told me. ( amazing, people doing what they say they will do). The movers arrived on time and were awesome. Clean, friendly and normal human beings. They hustled and needed almost no direction. I would recommend Mile High Movers 100%. They booked me last minute, a week prior to my move. They ran a little late as they had issues picking up the moving truck from Uhaul, which was not the fault of the drivers. They kept me informed of the time frame I could expect them. They showed up and I had everything boxed up so they just had to place it in the truck. They provided wrapping for things that may come open in transit. They were very helpful and friendly. They took the time to properly place everything in the moving truck and also tied it down securely. They wasted no time getting to my new house and got to work immediately. I canceled my move a week before the date it was scheduled and told them I would let them know if I needed their services at a future date. I received a call today regarding rescheduling and I said I did not need their services. They hung up and immediately charged my credit card a $40 cancellation fee. A fee I was never told about during the booking process. I called back to ask about the fee and was told that Steve (owner, manager?) did not need to speak to me about my dispute of this charge. This is a highly inappropriate way to do business. Unlike the reviewer from May of this year, I did call my credit card company and told them not to pay the charge. If you are going to charge a cancellation fee, then it is the company's responsibility to let you know of the fee, not blindside you with a charge to your credit card. read more
