Cozy bar and Very good beer selection. Wife having an excellent fresh margarita
Mike D.

Both had fish tacos and the homemade chips and 3 salsa dip tray. I had the local beer from beer'd which was unbelievable. Wife had the fresh ingredient margarita,, very good. Nice bar atmosphere, a big group had just left the bar at 3pm and when we left at 4 some locals arrived to the bar. Good vibes. Nice outdoor eating area as well.

I had never heard of Milagro until I was at Stonington Vineyard and trying to find a place for dinner. Our usual haunts were all booked up and someone said "you should try Milagro's!" And they had room for our table of six and OMG, every single moment of our early evening was perfect. I had the vanilla thyme margarita which I loved! Our table had a strawberry margarita, Margo margarita which Vic said "was slay", a spicy original margarita and the fresh margarita. Everyone loved their choices. Look chips for a Mexican restaurant are always up for judgement and these were perfect. We had the guacamole and the 3 salsas. All of it was delicious. Those chips were so good! For dinner my husband was sad because he loves chimichanga's and they aren't "on the menu" but he asked ... do you have a chimichanga? And they do! beef and chicken! He loved it. I and my daughter had the fish tacos and, seriously, look through my reviews. I'm very tough on fish tacos and I swear... best. Fish. Tacos. Ever. No lie. No exaggeration. Let me say it again, Best. Fish. Tacos. Ever! Another guest had steak tacos and loved it. Another guest had the enchiladas verde and she loved them and Anna had the lobster quesadilla and it was magical (and swag) and she ate my last fish taco because I was full and it was so good! So what I'm saying is. This place? Yes. Do it. So good. Thumbs up. All the thumbs up.

Papaya margarita. Delish!

I can't recommend Milagro enough. The food is always spot on delicious. The service is exemplary. Rebecca comes up with amazing flavors for her margaritas. Janet makes you feel like you're her only concern. And it's the best bargain in the borough! Amazing food and beverages at a reasonable price. Since they expanded a few years ago your seating choices are either upstairs, outside on the patio, or at the bar, my personal choice. 100% fabulous!!

The food and staff are the high spots of this restaurant. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The food was interesting in a good way, not all the typical Mexican fare. The mole sauce was particularly good. The atmosphere is not quite up to par, especially the outside seating in a narrow alley that is cluttered.

We had a nice time at Milagro's on Sunday. Cozy modern American Mexican atmosphere with a bar/lounge area on the first floor and more dining tables on the second floor. The menu online was more descriptive and offered pictures compared to the lackluster menu in person. Parking could be challenging especially during busier times. We went during a rain storm and lucked out with a spot on the street right out front. Service was attentitive and gracious, however we got a dumbfound look when we entered and didn't know where to sit as we didn't really know the options as it was our first time there. The food the kitchen put out was pretty good. It was Mexican with a modern flair. We had the chips and salsa which came with some freshly made chips with 3 different salsa's to try. We also tried the cauliflower tacos appetizers which were deep fried on a small double tortilla with some guacamole and chopped onions and tomatoes. It was very tasty and sufficient for a appetizer. For my meal I had the Baja Fish Tacos, which were delicious. The fish tasted fresh and was crispy. The tacos had a mayo-style shredded slaw on them, which I didn't think I would like but was actually pretty good. It was served with a scoop of Mexican rice. My date had the Enchiladas al Horno as a vegetarian option. It was a lasagna style enchilada with a couple of layers with lots of onions, mushroom, and spinach. She wasn't really a fan of the amount of onions though. For dessert, we had the Apple Churro Bites which were yummy little morsels of a molten liquid apple filling in some dough with a fantastic carmel dipping sauce. We also had the Dulce De Leches Tres Leches Cake, which I'd skip next time. It was kinda dry and not so fresh. Now that I think of it the Churro Bites dipping sauce was probably the Dulce De Leche for the cake, though it was on Churro Bites plate. Hmmm. All in all, Milagro Cafe was pretty good and I wouldn't hestitate to give them another if I were in the area.

This place is a wonderful spot to come to in Stonington. The environment was quiet when I came in, I can see that even if it gets more crowded it'll still be a comfortable environment. They put my group of 10 upstairs and they even offered to do separate checks which is extremely rare for a restaurant. The staff was so kind and accommodating. This is a real deal Mexican restaurant, especially the menu. So much so everything is in Spanish. Below I will provide a English food menu. I personally ordered the Carne Asada Tacos, the staff was really accommodating and put cheese on the tacos and gave me a double order of rice on the side. It was so scrumptious and was a perfect portion, especially for the price. Overall I'm very pleased with this restaurant, I would definitely recommend this to anyone stopping by Stonington.

Able to have a table of ten with deprecate checks for all

Man oh man where do I begin. Me and my crew were starving and some had scurvy from a week of sailing. Close to a mutiny we had to eat to settle the storm down below. We decided on this place last year and once again we went here as everything else is booked. Our waitress spilt the check TEN ways even splitting the chips and salsa for the table between us all. She refilled our drinks for free and same with chips it is some supreme service. With the Mexican music in the background scurvy was no more, we were ready for hibernation. The food was huge and so good for such a cheap price. Everything was great even the bathrooms where I opened the bomb doors and unleashed never before seen destruction upon the water. Overran it gets a 9/10 on the dave rating scale.

Spicy margaritas and guac.

Very enjoyable. Our server, Maggie was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We had the Baja fish tacos and chicken mole (with hot sauce added). Spicy margaritas and chunky guacamole to start and rice pudding cheesecake to go.

This is my first time in this marvelous palace called milagro café. The people inside were so welcoming and the waiter was such a kind person. I got the chicken taco. It was pretty good but the chicken was not right up my alley. But most things go up my alley. Another thing to add. The inside was a perfect Mexican restaurant. Reminds me of Taco Bell. Visibly but also through my bum. It took less than 30 minutes for all hell break and come loose through my bum. But overall, this place is pretty legit. I WILL be coming back since this is only one of the restaurant on Stonington. Warning: be ready for awesomeness

On our way to Maine to visit relatives, my companion and I thought a stopover in the peaceful…read moreseaside village of Watch Hill, Rhode Island, with dinner at the famous Ocean House, might be the perfect start to our extended weekend. While the hotel offers several dining possibilities, there is no question in my mind that Coast is their culinary chef d'oeuvre. My dining partner and I found their New England-inspired cuisine to be not only beautifully presented but also absolutely delicious. Throw in an award-winning wine list, friendly & personable service, picturesque view of the Atlantic Ocean, and a most satisfying evening at table awaits. Be advised, however... What also awaits is a pretty hefty hit on your pocketbook, as our five-course prix-fixe Degustation Menu - with several choices included - was priced at $145.00 per person, plus beverages, tax & gratuity (there is also a similarly priced vegetarian menu). If you want to add the Reserve Wine Pairing, which I did, that will cost you an additional $125.00 per person (Grand Wine Pairing an additional $250.00 per person). Definitely not what you would call a cheap date. That being said, however, in my opinion - and that of my companion as well - dinner here is well worth the expenditure. Our first course was the Ninigret Pond Oyster "Pan Roast." Sourced from a local coastal lagoon that is linked to the Atlantic Ocean and Block Island Sound, Ninigret Pond is home to several reliable oyster purveyors. I must confess that I have never been an enthusiastic fan of bivalves in general - and raw oysters in particular. However, the pan-roasted representatives sampled here, smooth & buttery with a touch of sweetness and sprinkled with Royal Belgian Osetra Caviar, were quite good indeed. And the Ruinart Singulier 18th Edition, Blanc de Blancs, Brut Nature, Champagne, (France), proved to be the perfect libationary accompaniment. But even better was the outrageously delicious Bluefin Tuna Tartare. I have tasted this dish on numerous occasions; however, this particular incarnation was in a class all by itself. Gently caressed by avocado and kissed by golden kiwi and a beguiling carrot ginger reduction, the result was a presentation that was pleasing to both eye and palate, and a highlight of our evening. The 2019 Tegernseerhof Loibenberg Riesling Smaragd Wachau (Austria), of course, added immensely to the enjoyment. The next course presented us with a rather interesting conundrum... the choice between two equally appetizing possibilities. My dining companion, of course, went immediately for the Seared Scallops & Foie Gras. I, on the other hand, decided to side entirely with the carnivores... Kuro Farms Wagyu Strip Loin. Companioned by short rib, confit carrot, and Sicilian pistachios, this was a winner all the way... as was the wine selection, the 2020 Aslina "Umsasane," an enticing blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot from Stellenbosch, South Africa. The dessert course was especially noteworthy, a Blackberry Sudachi Entremet aided and abetted by white chocolate mousse, lavender, and raw honey sponge. A rather unusual denouement, I must admit, but a lovely presentation and irresistibly scrumptious. And, once again, the wine selection - 2018 Domaine Huet Le Mont Moelleux, a Chenin Blanc from Vouvray, Touraine, in France's Loire Valley - was right on the money. The Bottom Line: An exceptionally fine dining experience. Pricey, to be sure... but, in my opinion, worth every penny. A restaurant to which my dining companion and I would gladly return. Highly recommended on all counts.

Coast Restaurant is The Best, ever! We had a beautiful window seat, facing the ocean. It was wonderful to be in a restaurant without a lot of noise and to be able to hear each other, as we chatted over dinner. The restaurant manager was lovely and attentive. Our waiter: Bayron Dias was the absolute Best! Well-groomed and dressed to perfection; beautiful smile and perfect manners; answered all our questions, expertly; was extremely attentive throughout the evening and was tremendously charming! The 5 course meal was presented as works of art - so beautiful and just as delicious! The final touch of Happy Birthday, written in chocolate, on my dessert dish, was the perfect ending to our meal and evening, along with a most delicious and large cup of cappuccino! BRAVO!!!
