The food was good, until it wasn't. I'm not sure what's happening here, but we got take out a few times and it was good. Went back the last time and didn't pick up our food because things were a little out of control. Seems like they need more consistency and better advertising. read more

What a great discovery! We used to live in a Greek neighborhood and I missed good Greek food after we moved. When we found this place I was so happy. Delicious hummus, fresh pita, very tasty gyro. My son loved their soup! He had several servings because he liked it so much. We will be back definitely! read more

First time here and much better than I anticipated. Food and service was excellent! Shout out to our waiter Lefty who was extremely attentive. Salmon special was right on and lamb chops were phenomenal. Salad and dessert superb. Will definitely be back! read more

Had a cheesy steak wrap here, it was really good. I haven't had a lot of Greek, but this place makes me want to try more!

Excellent Chicken Souvlaki pita sandwich but very pricey. $10+ for pita sandwich and lemon potatoes is too pricey for this establishment.

Good solid greek food. The portions are heathy, the food is well prepared. It seems like many people use it as a takeout place but there is plenty of seating and tables for dining in. read more

Great Greek food and very convenient location! Prices are ok, but the portion sizes are very generous. I usually go for the gyro platter and can get two meals out of it. Highly recommended if you're in the Ewing/Trenton area. read more

Truly authentic Greek food. The owners and staff will go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience and if you don't they will go above and beyond to make sure their customers are satisfied. read more

If you like authentic Greek food this is a great option. Went there Friday night with a group of friends, and we were all very happy with our meals. They served a large Greek salad family style, which was delicious and not over dressed. The chicken souvlaki was tender and tasty. This restaurant has come a long way since the last time I ate here. both the food and the service was very good. Everyone in our party of 8 was very pleased with our meal. A must visit for those Greek food lovers out there. read more

The husband and I loved this place. We are there at least twice a month. I got take out today (spent $50) and it was terrible. Everything except one spread. I called- and I never do that- and they have a new chef. I wasn't offered any compensation. Just an apology and told I wasn't the first one to complain. So disappointed! read more

Great Greek food, excellent service and much nicer on the inside than it seems from the road. If you love Greek food then I give this a strong recommend! read more

We tried something new for our 24 year anniversary and Mikonos did not disappoint. From the Taramosalata ( Greek Caviar ) to our entrees of Avgolemono Soup and Moussaka , it was authentically delicious. The ambiance was simple with Greek music in the background that wasn't annoying at all. We loved it and recommend it to everyone!! read more

This place is in such an obscure spot but don't let that fool you because it fills up quick! My husband and I had the hummus as an appetizer and lamb kebab for dinner. The food was phenomenal and reheated well too! read more

Excellent authentic food. I want to stop here every time I am in trenton. Cute atmosphere! Had a bad first experience, the food took absolutely forever to come out. Id say over an hour and 20 mins and we were all starving so it was really frustrating. However, the food is just so good I had to keep coming back. Plus she gave us a free dessert. Lots of vegetarian dishes as well. Love this place!!! read more

The service was wonderful. It's pleasant to see servers working together. The food is delicious. We had the vegetable sampler and each item was delightful. Very clean and friendly environment. Good value. read more

Excellent Food. Presentation was great too. Delicious desert. Most recommended.

There isn't too much Greek around, and if you're craving it this is definitely the place to go. Any souvlaki or gyro plate, which comes with the lemon potatoes I love, all have delicious meat with great portions. read more

The food was pretty good, but I went there with a black girl and the manager Dimitri made us eat at separate tables. We were separate but equal. Good gyros though. read more

Just amazing! Everything was delicious. Fresh, authentic, mid to upscale. Seeing so many mediocre restaurants fail at this location it's a pleasure to see such a quality restaurant make a home in Ewing. read more

We tried this for the first time as a result of a glowing review in the NY Times newspaper. My husband and I frequented the Athenian in Princeton, NJ for years before they closed down and you could have the most wonderful souvlaki there. Unfortunately, the Miknonos version fell short. The lamb was offered on a skewer and was overcooked. The pitas were too small to stuff the sauce, lamb and lettuce which is how they came at the Athenian. I had what was described as lamb chunks in sauce, but was really lamb shoulder which was very good. I always love lamb shoulder and my husband was envious because his dish was so dry and hard to manage. We probably will not be back and are still looking for a place that makes great souvlaki. read more

The food, service, presentation, and portions have gone down hill since this restaurant first opened. Last night it was so cold inside this place that a parka was required to stay warm. It was just so disappointing that once the food arrived it was dry, sloppily put on plate, and clearly overpriced. I like to support local businesses but I will not be a repeat customer especially since my waitress did not try to rectify nor was apologetic. read more

Great place for lunch & dinner! The Horiatiki Salad is a great start, along with the Dolmades - they are soooooo good! They are warm and light served with creamy Tzatziki sauce. The pita are also fresh and warm. Gyros are a Greek staple and they are good here, but venture to try the Moussaka - it is really good and not super greasy, as I have had in other Greek restaurants. The dinners are also enjoyable - try one of the chicken dishes. Yes, it might be a little pricey, but the food is good and fresh. We have always had good service here. I have been to Greece, cook Greek food at home, and really enjoy the food at Mikonos . Another favorite Greek restaurant that we enjoy is in Philly - South Street Souvlaki. It is like being back in Greece. read more

Some of the best greek food we've ever had! We went last night with a party of 9. Reservations were made, and a long table with lots of room was ready and waiting for us. We brought a bottle of wine and our server quickly took a head count of wine drinkers as brought us glasses and opened our bottle. We ordered appetizers of humus, eggplant rollatini, spanikopita, and grilled octopus. All were very delicious. As for the octopus, wow, our friends were hesitant to try it, but once assured it was safe, they chowed down on the garlicky, lemony dish and cleared the plate before I could get a second piece! LOL! We had a variety of dishes, and everyone was very pleased! My husband had the lamb shank special. The moist delicious meat was so tender! It was the best we ever tasted. No leftovers there. I had the moussaka, with the lemon potatoes! Delicious! All portions were large and leftovers were taken home. We just about tried all the homemade desserts, everyone was happy. I loved the baklava! Atmosphere is fine, service polite. Not sure why there are so many mediocre food reviews, we all really enjoyed it and will return soon! read more

One of my new favorite restaurants. The lamb souvlaki is some of the best I have had. Every time I have come the service is outstanding. This is a must try if you like Greek food. read more

December 13, 2014 - Mikonos - Ewing - First went here in April 2011. Food was just fair and service was poor. But they had only been open maybe two or three months at that time, still over all it was a disappointment. Today I was in the mood for something different so I decided to give Mikonos another try. They really have upped their game in all areas. Food is good and the service is attentive. For example, my wife dropped her knife on the floor and before you could say "Oh waiter" he was there at the table asking which utensil needed to be replaced. Had some really good Dolmades (rice stuffed grape leaves and they were served warm the way I like them) and Tzatziki with warm pita wedges. Next the house Greek salad. For the mains a good Chicken Gyro dish. Big portions. A pleasant surprise. December 19 - Back again. My wife enjoyed the food so much she was ready to come back again tonight. This time Hummus and pita, Dolmades and the Meltizanosalata (an eggplant spread with pita) for apps. We shared an order of the Chicken Gyro Platter. $38.52. And still till had leftovers. Also, it is BYOB. Looks like this could be a new favorite. My wife even says now we should get take out Greek instead of Chinese. read more

In from out of town and stopped to try something different for dinner. I had the gyro and village salad and wasn't at all disappointed. The pita bread was fresh and the sandwich large with fresh vegetables and herbs. The salad was exceptional. I've found a weekly dinner now while I'm in Trenton. read more

My wife and I went here for a quick lunch when we were staying in Ewing. Excellent Greek food. I got the Beef & Lamb Gyro platter. Meat, potatoes, pita and tzatziki were delicious and very fresh tasting. My wife got the pastitsio and that was great too. Large portions and very filling! read more

I would definitely go back to this place. I am not Greek, but I do love Greek food and this place has very tasty food and is very clean. Please do not be fooled by the location or the building. It is very clean and the food is great. The meatballs were great and the portions on everything were large. My wife and I and our in-laws will definitely be going back soon. read more

First time having Greek food, and I'm a fan! We ordered chicken gyros they were yummy but a little bland (maybe could have used a little more sauce). They were a fair price considering how much food you got. Staff was friendly and our food was prepared quickly. Would defiantly go back! read more

I would have given zero stars if it had been a choice. This was our first visit here, and will be our last....but wish we hadn't gone at all. The food was awful: house salads used canned sliced black olives. 1 cherry tomato cut in half. Too much red onion. Each of the five entrees we had was awful in its own way: dried out gyros; over-seasoned shrimp; under-dressed greek salad with overcooked chicken; overcooked, rubbery biftekia....and so forth. It was awful. And at the end the bill was presented with a 20% tip already added in! Yikes. Never again. read more

Recommended by the hotel staff. I was blown away. This little out of the way place was busy for Mothers day and I see why. Fresh made authentic greek food - done of which I'd never heard of but it was really feed and flavorful. I had an app of zucchini fritters with a long name. Delish. Next was the lamb souvlaki. Tender, cooked perfectly with lemon herb potatoes. Yum. Best part was the baklava. Rich and buttery and not too sweet. Don't come here if you need an ouzo fix. No liquor is served but you don't even notice. I'll be back. read more

"Dinner last night with a Groupon offer. 6th visit. Previously delighted each time. Had a reservation. Place was in pandemonium. Cook was on phone begging people to come in to work. He was taking orders and trying to cook, people were waiting way too long, etc. Once staff got there, we had 5 different servers in the course of the night, all not communicating. Polite but inept. One server didn't know what the missing mustard/yogurt sauce (a restaurant signature) was when I asked it be brought for my chicken gyro platter, and asked me if it had cucumbers and garlic in it (tzatziki). When he found it, it was served in a HOT dish that had just come out of the dishwasher. Worse, the Groupon deal was very misleading. It read 1 appy, 2 salads, 2 entrees and one dessert up to $51.00. That deal was sold for $25.00. Good deal, right? NOT. Our appy was $8, entrees $14 and $16 (salad incl.) and dessert $4.Total $42. We also ordered two cups of soup at $3 each which we expected to pay for. We were charged for soup (ok), a $2.60 "Groupon deal" fee, and upcharged $5.00 for the $16.00 entree. Not one server, nor the maître de, said anything about limitations to the Groupon as we ordered our food, or when they took the Groupon early in the meal. I looked back today at the deal on the Groupon site. Nowhere does it say or is it clear that the deal is limited to certain items. Found price fixe link after careful digging- turns out my meatballs (appy) were not on "list", but there was no "upcharge" there. However for $2.00 difference in one entree that was not on the "list" they charged $5.00 more "upcharge". So what is the meaning and or sense of the "up to $51.00" claim. And what is this Groupon charge? We were duped and I do not like it. This was no deal. On top of that service was BAD and food was not up to usual standards. The lemon orzo soup was a cup of creamed soup with about one teaspoon of shredded chicken in it. Taste was fine but totally unappealing and no orzo. Greek meatballs were tasty but very dry. Salads were shredded lettuce with 2-3 slices of red onion and a couple of grape tomatoes, and they were TINY. Chicken gyro platter very disappointing. Pieces of chicken, which on other visits were large and white meat, were so tiny I could not pick them up with a fork, and most was darker meat. Presentation was a mess- all sloppily piled on top of pita bread. Hubby's chicken entree was indeed very good. We were told they ran out of rice pudding and baklava was substituted. No problem for us. However, after that was brought to the table, another server brought us rice pudding! We sent it back since we were honest and told that server by the terms of the Groupon we were only entitled to one dessert. We were so frustrated with the night that when the bill came we personally questioned it but decided to cut our losses and just get out of there - clearly the right hand did not know what the left hand was doing and they were all a mess. And, since we are polite diners, of course we still tipped based on the "max $51.00" since the servers have to eat, so that was another $10.00. So my big "deal" in the end was no deal at all. I would not have cared at all had it all been clear re the Groupon, but the hidden terms and lousy food and service left a very, very bad impression." read more
