The Good Gyro might be one of the most popular food vendors in the food court so the wait was kind of bad about 20 minutes after ordering. There is a great variety of options on the menu and we love the flexibility of creating our own platter. We had a 3-item platter: eggplant stew, cauliflower stew and falafel with salad & pita. The falafel here was outstanding and rivaled the falafel we just had in Haifa a few weeks ago. It was so, so good. The hummus was also great and nephew approved. I did not *love* the lamb burger, but I also wasn't very hungry. The owner was there and was super kind and you can tell he has great pride behind his food. Stopped in the Ferry Market for a quick meal before going to a show at the Bucks County Playhouse. I picked the Good Gyro because I am a vegetarian and they had a ton of options for dinner. We were there around 6:30-7pm on a Saturday and they were still open. This is a food hall so you go to the counter and order and they give you a number where they deliver your food. I ordered a falafel wrap and a side of fried with a diet coke. The food was finished quickly. The fries were excellent - very crisp and seasoned perfectly. The falafel was some of the best falafel I have very had, crisp outside, soft inside, perfect seasoning. The wrap itself had enough hummus and veg to make it moist and just a joy to eat. They offer a wide variety of Mediterranean options and they have vegan dishes as well. They have salads, combination platters, pita sandwiches, soups, beverages and deserts. The spices they use bring out the flavor without being overbearing. Everything is homemade and is fresh. I sampled a combination platter with salad, hummus, baba ghanoush , chicken gyro, and Mediterranean salad. The portion could easily be shared by two and was a great value for the price. We also had the Mediterranean chicken platter which was equally as good and filling. They have vegan options as well. They have a counter that seats about five or you can opt for seating in other areas of the market or outside when the weather is warmer. My friends own a business in New Hope just steps away and would eat here everyday if they could.I would highly recommend them and they probably have the best Mediterranean food in New Hope. read more

We couldn't decide what we wanted so we wandered around New Hope for about half an hour before we found Ferry Market. This place is great, but we STILL couldn't come to a consensus so the three of us ate at three different places. After the three of us finished up with lunch we ended wIth a stop at The Good Gyro for some pistachio baklava. I love baklava, like I could eat it everyday, but this was just slightly off-a little dry, though it tasted just fine. I have a feeling it may have just been an off day, but who knows. Don't know of any business that is being charged 6% by credit card companies to accept credit cards, most are typically 2.5%-3.5%, so this outlet MADE MONEY from me by assessing this fee. What's worse, my travel mate ordered a sandwich at another stand next door, no credit card fee. Look, if you have to get your customers to cover your costs, raise your menu prices.
