In trying to diagnose a particularly unusual issue he found a shorted wire in my circuit breaker which needed to be fixed and checked all the other connections. He proactively found a significant problem and made my house safer. Wow, Mikhail saved the day. While re-siding my house I had a brief period after the old siding was off and before the new boards went up. I had a Doh! moment -- now was the time to get some more electrical outlets run to the kitchen. I called Mikhail who had done my electrical panels a few months before. He came out the next morning, made a bid, and started work immediately; even staying late so he could work around the other workers. Fantastic! It turns out modern code requires SIX circuits for a kitchen. Who knew. Mikhail ran those new lines, navigating two stories of scaffolding. And by the way he made very neat cuts in the kitchen drywall where he installed the new outlet boxes. Things were good to go before the new siding went up. I found Mikhail on Yelp and contacted him to install can lights in our home that had none. Mikhail was super responsive and accommodating in setting a day and time to meet. He guided me via text with links to lights he recommended and then met with me ON TIME at a set time (unlike most who gives hours-long windows). I really appreciated how he explained how the size, quantity and placement of the lights would impact our rooms as this was something none of the other electricians (four others) I had contacted to bid on our lighting project did. It's like he has a good design sense. After answering all my questions seeing how easy yet professional his personality is, I felt totally confident leaving our project in his hands. I was on a time crunch but also had very specific days that I could be available to be on site. Mikhail was incredibly flexible, working with me and getting the job done within a few hours. He patiently explained the pros and cons of how to approach the job, giving me options, all without pressuring me to do more work or spend more money than was necessary. I took bids from several contractors. He was by far the least expensive, and he didn't try to talk me into cutting into the drywall when surface level piping is all I wanted. Of those contractors, they all had drywall contractors that they worked with and that they could refer me to. I felt like they were trying to hit me with a double-whammy. Mikhail also had the shortest estimated time of completion whereas the other contractors told me it would take at least a full day, possibly rolling into a second day.
