5 stars are not enough to rate our experience with Donald. He was over the top meticulous while dealing with a very challenging bee removal project of 3-5 thousand bees. The company over charges for minimal work. I requested a vermin to removed from my house and did the bare minimal work while charging prices not worth the effort. They explained the cost of the work because the technician came in with cameras and an extra trap but the effort put in was about 10 minutes worth of setting traps. After all was said and done, they did not catch the critter and quit and told me call someone else to capture the critter after only 3 days. read more

Mike's Pest Control is a miracle worker! For four days, we tried to battle a sudden outbreak of flies in our home. We were baffled as to the source--there was no rotting food, no evidence of a dead critter in a wall--just giant flies everywhere. After swatting 40 or more daily for a couple of days, literally wearing out two fly swatters which crumbled under the weight of the task, and with a weekend dinner party looming, we called Mike's for help. I regret that I don't recall the name of the technician who came out, but he gave us a bait spray that we used along one set of large windows in our living room that catch the morning sun and to which the flies were especially attracted. Eureka! By the end of the day the floor in front of the windows resembled a battlefield covered with the remains of vermin who'd travelled from the portals of hell to infiltrate our peaceful, unsuspecting home. No more swarming flies. No more chasing with (new) fly swatters. Just our sweet home back to its original, lovely state as we prepare to welcome our guests. (No source for the flies was ever categorically determined. The tech searched our property, attic, and roof and the only possibility found was a bird's nest in a vent on the side of the house.) DO NOT use this business. They came out on March 22nd and sprayed for fleas, ticks, fire ants, etc.. Today is April 20th, not even one month! I got bit by fire ants so I called them to come out again and they want to charge me!! When the guy sprayed he said it was good for 3 months. Why else would I pay $161? I'm highly disappointed in our experience with Mike's pest control. I spoke with Nikki at first for an initial quote about the raccoon pest control issue that we were having and weren't sure if it was a raccoon or a racoon with babies and Nikki originally referred us out. However, after shopping around it sounded like Mike's would be the best option because of the daily check up. The rep I called back and spoke to said specifically I don't know who told you but yes we do pest control for raccoons and scheduled a technician to come out on 6/1/20. Today I learned The technician came out and said the removal of the raccoons cannot be done because two were babies and referred us out again. When I called back For clarification about what happened today Nikki responded and sounded distracted on the phone with one of her coworkers and told me the only referral they have was the one that she gave and that I should Google to look for any other ones and said that they explained everything to my minor nephew and said something to me like "we explained why to somebody and didn't they explain it to you?" and then she hung up on me. Obviously, not which is why I called for an explanation and I would have preferred if they had called me to explain their rationale rather than to a kid. This was a very poor customer service. Buyer Beware. I'm on contract with Mikes Pest Control. Been using their service for 3 years, however lately their service is lacking. I was informed that treatment has a 90 day warranty when in reality there is no warranty. They won't come back out and correct a job when done poorly. I have had ant infestation since March and they claimed to treat it in May but it has done nothing to curb the ants. I call and get them to retreat and state they don't have any appointments until months later, by then its time for my quaterly treatment anyway. Very underhanded and corrupt. They lie about their warranty and claim they made a service call treating the outside even though the same ants and same mounds are still there. They were once good and ethical, now they take money and don't backup their work. read more

I messaged them via their Facebook page on Saturday and I understand they are not open but expected them to contact me on Monday. I even messaged them again on Monday morning and received no response so I called them at 3:30. The girl who answered the phone said that the office manager must not have checked the messages and they are really busy and cannot come out until next Monday. She talked so fast and seemed in a rush to get off the phone. Plus they charge $59 to come out to inspect for rodents. I contacted another local company that can come out in 2 days and they do not charge for a rodent inspection. I am a small business owner and social media is an important marketing and communication tool and customers these days expect quick responses from inquiries. Looks like they have enough business and don't have time or the need to acquire new customers in the area. read more

I called and scheduled an appointment one week in advance. I made the appointment for 8:00am on a Tuesday and rearranged my schedule to make sure I was home to greet the technician. The technician arrived at 7:45am which was great. Earlier I had parked my car at the end of the driveway because I did not want the technician parking in my driveway. I was paying for an outdoor flea treatment only. I did not want the technician to block me in my driveway in case I needed to leave before he had completed the treatment. There is plenty of street parking as well as a small parking area to the right side of my house (I live next door to a museum and it happened to be closed at the time of service). The technician comes to my door and I confirm I only want the flea treatment outside. I am trying to get myself and my toddler ready so I ask if I can pay him now so he goes to his truck to make the ticket. I pay him in cash and sign the paperwork. I inform him that my car is parked at the end of the driveway because I will need to leave for work soon. I close the door and go finish getting ready for work. Ten minutes pass and there is more knocking at my door. The technician is at my door with money in hand. He tells me he needs to start the service or he needs to leave. I ask him what is the problem since I had already paid him and signed the paperwork. He tells me that he needs to unload the tank and how is he supposed to do that if I am parked in my driveway. I told him I don't understand and I take the money back from him. I thank him for coming to my house and tell him I won't be calling his business to reschedule the treatment. Mike's Pest Control was a disappointment. The person answering acted angry and was talking loud and fast. I hold her I he a possum or raccoon incoming in my attic. The first time I called they had just hung up. She talked over me. Anyway the technician arrived an hour earlier interrupting another TNMP appt. He looked around and told me it was probably a possum pulling off 2 soffit vents. For $300 they bring a trap and relocate. No help with repairs. He said they'd have to charge me $300 for every single thing as $2 soffit vent and I am kinda SOL and just need a cheap handyman after they rid me of that animal! Or I can do it myself with sardines and buy a cage. Single f/62/125. ScaredSo I paid him his fee and he left. Called to speak to owner next day. Advised of tech's bad attitude and weird prices. He said Crummy ATTITUDE is not his problem and basically was not interested. Too bad they are down the street from my neighborhood. We used Mike's Pest Control because of awesome things we heard about them and the fact that they are locally owned and operated. We started using them when we purchase our new home about five years ago. We had a complete termite treatment done even though there were no issues and have been using them on a quarterly basis ever since. The reason for this review is that they have always said is you EVER have any bugs between your quarterly visits then call us immediately and we will respray the effected areas at NO CHARGE. We never had any issues with them in the past but the ONE TIME that we called and told them that we had what we believed were earwigs and could they come spray at there earliest convenience. Well guess what we were told when I called them,wait for it,I am sorry sir earwigs are not covered. I said I have used you faithfully for five years and with the fact that we spent a lot of money (ABOUT $2,500 TOTAL FOR THE FIVE YEARS INCLUDING THE TERMITE TREATMENT) on the termite treatment when we moved in and now you will not HONOR your word. There response was beyond belief when the girl answering the phone told me "Are you sure you don't have any roaches". I said no we don't have any roaches. She again said "Are you sure because then we could technically come and spray the house again". I then said "So you want me to LIE to you to get my house sprayed again". There was silence in the phone as I then realized that's what she wanted me to do. I was not raised to lie and be that way so I just said no and hung the phone up. I thought to myself you have got to be joking and told my wife what they said. She and I agreed at that point we would just go to Solutions and purchase our own sprayer and products and just do it our self every three months and if we see something we would just respray and save the money that these -------- were getting from us. I hope everyone that is looking for a pest control company sees this review before using them. We will not use them again and we hope that people read this before considering them as there pest control company. Did they always do a good job,yes. Were they professional before this,yes.
