Their AC struggled to keep up but it was fine inside. We selected 2 coneys from the specials menu and received 2 coneys with mustard. Onion, sauce and cheese (can be customized), a bag of chips and a small milk shake for $8.50. plenty of food and a hreat deal! Tony's milkshake board of available flavors was amazing! They have thought of everything you could possibly want! Order at the counter, grab an seat and your food will be delivered. Sorry no pictures. I arrived hungry and gobbled up those dogs as fast as I could!

Love the concept of this place. Cheap food, made relatively fast (they can get busy at times so…read morethere can be a wait). I've tried their coneys and they're the typical coney (a small hot dog and choice of toppings). The prices are up to par for the casual type of place it is and they have a lot of menu options. One of my favorite menu items is the Tony's sub (Italian). We come here a lot for this ice cream. The kids soft serve cones are inexpensive and are a nice size. They have vanilla, chocolate, or twist and sometimes seasonal flavors. I've tried it once with the chocolate dip shell and it was delicious. It's convenient that they have a drive thru and walk up window as well, so l can get cones without having to take the kids out of the car. Menu might not be updated in prices due to inflation but you can ask before ordering.

I've been catching up on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives to check out all those fantastic restaurants…read moreand Loops was first on my list! I tried Da' Meatball and since it was a la carte, I also ordered two Spicy Gyro Rolls with Hotziki dipping sauce. Wow! Watching them cook on Triple D and tasting the food for myself is a whole different experience than what I was expecting. Sure, the food looks good and it's interesting to even toss the marinara on the griddle, but it's mind-blowing in action! It's not a huge restaurant, but it is comfortable. I had a great conversation with a former Air Force Officer turned Firefighter. Bonus: I got to meet Andrew from the show and tell him why I was there! Don't forget about Loops; you have to give them a try!

I am from Chicago so I KNOW Italian beef. Loops "claims"…read morethey make Chicago style Italian beef but it's not true. 1) the bread is all wrong. They use like sub sandwich bread. You're supposed to use Italian bread which is slightly crusty outside and a little chewy inside. They literally just use sandwich bread shaped into a sub and it just soaks up the juice and is mush. 2) the Italian beef should be slow roasted and shaved paper thin and fall apart. The one I had was thick and tough. Was like a roast beef sandwich with warm juice on it. 3) giardinara completely wrong as well Anyways like I said, I was HIGHLY disappointed at Loops. 100% NOT Chicago Italian beef. Sorry.

Bang for your buck: 9/10 Quality: 9.5/10…read moreService: 9/10 Ambiance/Location: 8/10 Overall: 9/10 A great hidden gem! It's a bit intimidating from the outside. Not in a great area and a bit unassuming (but cute!). We ordered two of their most popular dogs, pops, and two ice cream cones and our bill was about $20. A bit expensive for hot dogs, but they were seriously massive and wound up being worth it. The owner is incredibly kind and spoke to us for awhile while we waited and while we ate. Be aware he'll likely talk to you, too, but it's part of the charm. If that's not your thing, plan to take yours to-go. The menu is extensive and there's always a super unique special. For example, they serve a gator dog (yup. a hot dog made of alligator) every October with such limited availability folks are lining up to get theirs. Don't let the outside fool you; you need to stop in.

Owner was super friendly and talkative, this is probably the only reason for the 3 stars. Ordered two coneys w/ light onion. The sauce tased like it was from a can and the sauce wasn't warm, awful! one of the coney's buns was completely soggy, didnt even finish it. I wanted to love these coney's cause the reviews have been good, but it was just mid!
