August 6th of 2024 we had a tornado come through Concord township and we had quite a bit of damage to our roof. I called Connor he came over looked at the roof made some repairs I asked him if I should file an insurance claim he said no not yet we still don't know the extent of the damage. Brutally honest. Almost a year went by and I started to lose even more shingles and after I called Connor over one or two more times he said I'm afraid it's time to get that claim going your shingles have exhibited more damage than we thought. I was wondering why shingles were ending up in my garden beds. So I filed an insurance claim in September of 25 and to be quite Frank and quite honest it has been the worst experience in the world. Connor provided all of the pictures all of the paperwork that the provider requested and at times they would ghost us for weeks. It came up to almost October of 2025 but the weather is starting to turn when our roof was finally approved. Initially they tried to just replace 10 squares of shingles but they did not tell us where so they were hoping maybe throw some money at the insured and maybe he'll go away. Conor fought for me. He was able to patch my roof up with some tarping that you could actually barely notice. When spring came around and the snow was gone he had to have it about 40°. The roof job officially started. Unfortunately when he found some more rotted wood around my chimney he had to submit a supplement to the insurance company which again she straight up just ignored us for weeks. Connor was relentless. Between numerous emails and phone calls we finally got the attention of the insurance company again. They approved the supplement Connor made all of the repairs to my poor house. I referred him to anybody who will listen and needs roof work. What a straight-up honest nice man. Not only did their crew damage my concrete driveway during the job, but the actual roofing work was completely botched. They skipped critical steps--they never laid down plywood decking like professional roofers do, and instead threw synthetic underlayment over the old boards. Now, the underlayment is "sweating" out the boards, trapping moisture, and causing the wood in my garage to rot and break apart under massive layers of white mold.Furthermore, the gutters were never installed correctly. They leak constantly, accelerating the rot underneath. The garage is now unlivable--sweltering hot in the summer and freezing in the winter. Worst of all, this same moisture damage is now starting to impact my main home. They also failed to provide the before-and-after photos they explicitly promised. They cut corners, ruined my property, and refused to stand by their work. Save your money and your home by going anywhere else.

Joe came out, took a look what was going on, and gave me an estimate that was identical in scope but half the price of another estimate we received so we opted to go with Eames and Sons. Joe was fantastic to work with and kept me up-to-date on scheduling of the entire process, from dropping off a trailer for the old roofing materials, dropping off the new materials, the actual day of work, etc. The Eames and Sons crew came out, did the work in a single day, and then Joe came out the next day for an inspection. Joe noticed some of the work wasn't up to the Eames and Sons standards, so he had someone from the crew come back out and redo it and then came back out the same day to check on the work again. I also noticed that some of the mortar between bricks near some of the work seemed to now be missing and he came back out on his own time to fill in the gap. Eames and Sons, and specifically Joe, definitely went out of their way to make sure our roof was perfect and that I no longer needed to worry about the leak we found. This was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend others use Eames and Sons for their roofing needs. EDIT: I noticed some damage to a window screen after the dump trailer was moved away. Joe fixed the screen himself and sent someone else out to take care of some of the metal around the window as well. Even though it was 2 years later, I called Jeff about the problem. He came out the next day to look at it. Anyone who tries to hire contractors knows how hard it is to get someone to call you back, but to have them come the next day is unheard of! Jeff is a standup guy who stands by his work and within 2 weeks it was fixed. (It only took that long because it's January and we had to wait for a break in the weather.) I was not charged for this repair. I highly recommend Jeff and his team because they warranty their work, even years later.
