When you walk into Billy's, it's like you have entered their laboratory, everything they are working on is pretty much within eyeshot of the lobby. Billy's is keeping it old school. There is no fancy computer system, no appointment texts, no data capturing, just you having a conversation with Billy about your need. Billy will provide you a cost estimate on the spot and a ballpark on turn time, he scribbles your name and number down on a pad of paper, takes your car keys and that's it. You will NEVER receive a text from Billy, or an email, nor be required to use an app. You WILL receive a phone call and/or voicemail. I have had big jobs and small jobs done here and neither have disappointed. I literally came in after work with a small job sight unseen at 2pm in the afternoon and Billy turned me around in under an hour. You cannot ask for much more than that. So glad to have Billy's as a local resource and happy to patronize.

From the manager to the technicians, everyone was extremely friendly and professional. They quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it in about an hour, all at a very reasonable price. There is no longer any oil leak, and the car is running well. In addition, a noise I had been hearing from underneath the car is now gone--they likely addressed that as well (possibly by tightening a loose component such as the muffler). I filled out the form with financial limit of $1000, left key and form in the overnight mailbox repair authorization. Said the car was ready Friday, I came to P/U Monday, car wasn't ready. Told to come back Tuesday, Tuesday waited 3 hours. The bill was $3843.70. I drove the car 68.2 miles and it overheated on June 30. When I called Jeff to have it towed in again he said we would 'work it out' the tow. He told me they needed at least two weeks before working on it. Since this was a 're-do' of previous repair, I believe the better business practice would be to schedule my job ahead of others. The second tow and repair involved hoses (which weren't needed the first repair), and a second anti freeze fill, and a thermostat housing etc.... again, which would not have been necessary had the first repair fully and properly fixed the overheating issue. I asked Jeff to have all the replaced parts saved. On July 29, I picked up the car (30 days in service the second time) asked for the parts and Jeff said Frank, the mechanic couldn't find the parts. This bill 527.17 and again no parts returned. No car for a total of 38 days. Jeff response "I don't break them, I fix them" - and "I won't be working on this car again" - and "I'm not paying for the tow".
