100/10 This place was so good.I had the buffalo popcorn chicken quesadilla and it was spectacular. There were free pickles available to eat while you wait for your food, which does not take long. Our food was out in less then 5 minutes. read more

Came here for a quick breakfast, wasn't disappointed. This place was clean and the employees were polite, a good place to stop

Had a burger and fries.....couldn't finish either one. I've been to a lot of places that serve burgers in my life now....this is one of the worst. How to fix it? Close it. read more

After the Yestercade I took my daughter and nephew to this great spot. Great food and very friendly service. Total score !!

Gone downhill since it was Hansel N Griddle. Ordered food to be delivered at a certain time, it came 45 minutes early. My panini wasn't a panini - not fused together, basically a limp flatbread with gross tomatoes (ends) that should not be served and something ungodly in a piece of chicken that ended the meal for me. My husband was equally unimpressed. Too bad. Used to love it. Never again. read more

I don't got into Somerville often so I always forget that Hansel n Griddle is right there on the corner where I believe Cluck-U used to be. A few days ago I went into Guitar Center by the Somerville circle and it smelled delicious in there. The guy at the register said the food came from here and we should definitely check it out. Thank you Dan from Guitar Center because you were right on point. We ordered from there tonight and they did not disappoint at all. We were a little skeptical about ordering a burger for delivery but none the less we decided to go for it anyway. My husband got the bacon cheddar burger (medium) with the chili potato wedges. I order the bbq bacon burger also medium with their buffalo and blue cheese potato wedges. We also ordered 2 BLT's for the kid with plain potato wedges. The burgers were cooked perfectly!! They were juicy but not greasy and we're still warm. Everything was flavorful!! For a burger to be delivered perfectly is amazing, considering than when you go to some restaurants they don't even come out this good. The guy on the phone was really nice and even made the BLT's with wheat bread instead of the wrap like we had ordered. Even more convenient the delivery guy came right on time (the weather wasn't great either) and he had a swiper so we could use our card. All in all we were very satisfied and super full which is exactly what we needed. We will definitely be ordering again from here!! read more

I ordered delivery last night and wanted to report back that the food has been consistently good. I got the Turkey Avocado Ranch Panini and the avocado was perfect - not brown like some places ! Always fresh, tasty and fast delivery, and something different besides the typical pizza or sandwich delivery. read more

The food here is good, but probably not my favorite. This said, it was close to closing and in a rush to order I asked for the first thing I saw on the menu - an italian panini. Now, I regretted this decision the second I said it, so when I actually tried it, I obviously wasn't very excited. However, it ended up tasting good despite my negative thinking, and I'm sure I'd enjoy other sandwiches they make even more if I were to go again. read more

I went here once with my brother. The menu was a little confusing and was offered very little help as to what everything was. It was a bit overpriced in my opinion for what we had and it didn't taste that great. read more

I have had a few items on the menu but by far the best item I have had so far is the "El Cinco" It was delicious and so filling. The Bacon Cheddar Angus burger is also very good!! This place is the favorite takeout at my job. read more

I live in High Bridge, but whenever I'm in the Sommerville area it's a Hansel and Griddle pit stop for me! The build your own omelette is delicious and very generous with a great selection of ingredients. All meals are made fresh. Great friendly staff and fast service are a plus... Love this place! Oh Yeah! 3 different potatoes side choices with breakfast..seasoned wedges, tator tots or sliced potatoes all soooo! Good! Damn! Think I'm making a trip to Sommerville this morning. read more

the cashier gave me the wrong order and wouldn't fix it. they told me i had to pay for an entire $10 meal again if i wanted it fixed. the manager came out in an angry tone and gave us a dirty look as she walked away. will not be eating here again customer service is terrible. read more

Excellent fresh food and a nice menu. Very friendly staff doing a great job pleasing you.

Tasty and affordable. The bacon and egg wraps are good. Love the tater tots.

Schroom sandwich was outstanding: cruncy veggies, tangy balsamic, just the right amount of mozzarella and a fresh warm Semolina roll.

Loved this place. Nice variety of lunch food. The wife had a buffalo chicken panini and I had a cheddar burger. Both properly prepared and served quickly. Tasty. Priced very reasonably. Good value. read more

I ordered from this place twice. The first time I.got the buffalo wings they were delicious and crunchy despite the almost an hour wait for delivery. The potatoes were undercooked both times I ate there, not sure what's up with that but overall the food was good. The last time i ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it came without any bacon. But i called the store and the manager offered me a coupon for my next order which was very kind of him. I will definitely be going there again. Also i love the fact that they deliver and they have a great app interface for users. Nice spot overall. read more

Stopped by for breakfast. Nice variety of healthy and tasty meals. Had the French toast bacon and eggs all done to perfection. Nice location and very clean on the inside. Would definitely recommend eating here for breakfast. read more

We used Mike's for my baby shower this weekend and could not have been happier. The food was great and we were given more than enough. We got the wrap package, and were given a laminated color-coded label so everyone knew which wrap was which. He rolled with any special request we had and was always available for questions. The wraps were so good, and everyone loved the potato salad and said it had a good "kick" to it. Mike is such a nice guy and was great to work with, and his delivery guys were so nice and helpful setting up. I would 100% use them again to cater another event and would recommend them to anyone! read more

Reliable and dependable go to place for breakfast and lunch. A much needed place to have in Somerville. Their menu has expanded a lot so I look forward to trying more things. Good portions, and good quality, worth with price. read more

I use to go to Hansel 'n Griddle all the time in New Brunswick. I was so excited when they opened one up in Somerville. The crisp quesadillas and tater tots were awesome! I cannot wait to try their salads and breakfast options. They deliver also! read more

Their menu is diverse enough so that you can find something that isn't too fattening or if you love burgers, you can do it up in style! The prices are reasonable for what you get. I ordered a "Make Your Own" salad and a 12 piece chicken wings for takeout. I've eaten breakfast here a few times and it's a pleasant experience for a Sunday. read more

I ordered the Chicken Quesadilla and the Pull Apart Monkey Bread through Grubhub. The Quesadilla was flavorless but otherwise well made. The pull apart monkey bread came already pulled apart and rock hard and not as described at all, it's described as being covered in a warm cinnamon sauce it was instead tiny bits of hard as rocks biscuit covered in dry cinnamon sugar and served with icing on the side (icing on the side was by request) it was completely inedible, I tried mind you and nearly broke a tooth because I wasn't expecting it to be crunchy, monkey bread isn't supposed to be crunchy! So I called them assuming there was a mistake and they said that's just how they make it which is not how they describe it on the grubhub menu, they refunded me but not until after they said "well we heated it up" by way of explanation, my best guess is they microwaved it, if you've ever put bread in a microwave for too long you know how it gets dried out and hard as a rock that's what this was. I'm hoping they learn from my review and fix the way they do things because when it was Hansel we ordered it and it was amazing and not this way. New Name, New Product and it's not a good thing ! read more

Nice to have Hansel outside of New Brunswick! Had the chicken bbq bacon quesadilla and it was on point. Thanks to the cashier for the suggestion. read more

The food is good but they consistently leave items from my delivery which is quite frustrating. They clearly need to implement some type of quality controls to prevent these errors. Providing a credit to someone who did not receive their food does not work. read more

If you are a fan of the New Brunswick location of Hansel 'n Griddle, beware you will be let down here. I love the New Brunswick Hansel but the Somerville one is not up to snuff. Menu is allegedly the same, but tastes completely different, stale even. The place smells like a sewer, I went there 3 times in 3 different months to confirm this smell. To be fair its coming from the bathroom area, but come on! How can you sit and eat there with that smell! I guess they are big on delivery. If they can fix that smell and bring a New Brunswick chef to train the staff, it might get 5 stars, otherwise I'd avoid. read more

First time calling franchise for a order to be delivery. When food arrived, and hefty tip given as it was a big dinner order, was surprised to see order was short of food! Had to share so all could eat. Called franchise and was told there will be a credit on my original method of payment. Not seen it as of this review. read more

Ordered their stew chili, it was amazing! Have had their breakfast burritos in the past and they are also good.

Wanted to try something new in the area so I gave Hansel N' Griddle a try. I got the chicken bacon ranch panini with a side of potato wedges and it was delicious! Good size portions for the price. I will definitely be going back to try some of the crisps! There are plenty of parking spots on the streets and the lots around town. I love that they deliver (there is an app for your phone too!) Again, I will definitely be going back for more lunches! read more

I cannot say enough good things about this place! Their food is always fresh and cooked well. Pricing is reasonable. They are also extremely accommodating. I have a child with severe food allergies and they have created special food items for him with no questions asked. Updated to add that every time I call for delivery they have the nicest people that work for them. Everyone from the drivers to the people that answer the phone are genuinely nice and friendly. Just another reason why we keep coming back. read more

I go to Hansel at least once a week for lunch. The food is very fresh, and I have enjoyed almost everything I have had. I love their wings, crisps, sandwiches and salads . I prefer a regular fry to their version(very thick ) but the buffalo fries are so good. Smoothies are also really good, my favorite is the banana flip. The burgers look good but have never tried one. Breakfast was just eh to me but it was delivered so it may have been the delivery time made it soggy. (why 4 vs 5 stars) also delivery takes a long time so plan ahead Service is great and the owner is very helpful. Definitely recommend for a lunch or a quick dinner. read more

I haven't ever been here until today but I can say I will definitely be going back I work a lot in Somerville and always hear good things about this place so finally decided to go check it out and I am so happy I did. I got a balsamic chicken on wheat wrap it was so delicious and all of the produce tasted so fresh read more

The female redhead cashier is always on her phone and is extremely rude. It doesn't make me want to come back at all.

I work in somerville, and for the past 6 months have always just driven past. today I stopped in and "gave it a chance. I was NOT DISAPPOINTED. I had the barbecue pannini and it was delicious. Will i ga back again? absolutely! read more

I guess you have to know what to get. This place was recommended to me by someone who works there. The staff was friendly enough. The food came out quicker than I expected, yet was still perfectly cooked. I had the wings (hot) and chili without cheese. Both were awesome! The chili was perfectly seasoned and didn't have too many beans. The wings were perfectly crispy. The buttermilk ranch was the perfect addition. My girlfriend had the chicken bacon ranch panini with cheese and bacon seasoned fries. She thinks the cajun seasoning on the chicken was a nice touch. Overall a good experience and we will be returning. read more

Hit or miss... Don't rely on them to make food the right way. Today I ordered a salad with grilled chicken. Right off the bat the chicken was PINK. I called to let them know for future reference. Not only was it pink but the salad was in huge leaf sizes prepared for a farm animal to eat. Poor. How does someone mess up a salad? read more

Mike's Courtside Kitchen - pink uncooked chicken - New American Near Me - Somerville, New Jersey

Really good place for what it is....a nice, healthy, freshly prepared food on the go.... I have moved in to Somerville recently and, as is typical, the first several months, you do a lot of work around the new place....so this place is awesome for me. I can place an order via phone or web or an app and have an accurate pick up time. Food has always been good and fresh. Really like their potato wedgies. Many good choices and very convenient with fair prices. read more

Just faced a large order of potato wedges, can confirm that they're incredible 10/10 P.S. I'm not just high or drunk read more

Ordered from here four times recently and will continue to do so! Love the online ordering and delivery is super fast. Food is great, especially their smoothies. Good prices too, especially with their rewards program. read more

Had high expectations for this place with all the great reviews from the New Brunswick location and was really disappointed. I ordered a burger medium cooked. However it was rubber by the time I ate it. The fries though weren't too bad. The orange smoothie I got tasted like chalk as well. My friends had some wings which were on the smaller side that I tried and the BBQ sauce tastes like it was the Kraft honey BBQ sauce, nothing special. I guess this is more of a college kid place. I do think it will do well being next to the court but I don't think I'll be back anytime soon. I really don't see how they can say best wings in town either. And I'm an RU grad! read more
