I hired an HVAC company who told me I needed a new board or a new system (for the low low price of $7,000). I had an inkling the problem was maybe electrical, and decided a second opinion on the furnace was a good idea since the system was not THAT old and I needed to address the GFCI circuit anyways. So I went on Yelp and found Cal Paso. Alex was my tech. And he did an ace job! He troubleshooted the GFCI problem and came up with a great solution for our hundred year old home where *nothing* is standard size or ever easy. His solution worked and even made the property *better* for the tenants by giving them more outlets than before. Then he went to the attic and solved the furnace issue. And technically there were two minor wiring issues involved, and if you've ever troubleshooted anything, it can be hard to figure out what's wrong when there's more than one problem! But Alex did. I will absolutely, 110%, use Cal Paso again. They saved me from an HVAC company who couldn't troubleshoot at all and was going to gouge me with a new system. And they made everything BETTER than I expected, at a fair and reasonable rate.
