We had a great experience with Hernandez Electrical Company. The owner, Marcos, and his team drove out to my grandma's house in King City, CA to install three Ring flood lights. Because we were over an hour away from where they're based, the company required a deposit before the work was done. We were a little hesitant at first, but we're so glad we went forward Marcos proved to be honest, professional, and trustworthy. While they were there, we asked if they could help with a few other electrical tasks we had been putting off. Marcos and his team were patient, and very accommodating. In addition to the flood lights, they also installed one Ring doorbell and two outlets. Marcos was especially friendly and social, which my grandma and aunts really appreciated. We have had an ongoing problem of electricy in part of our house "popping" and going out in our older house. Two other companies could not find the source after multiple visits. Marcos answered the phone right away and stated he could get to my house the next day. He was prompt and courteous, plus he fixed the problem in 15 minutes. I am happy I decided to give him a call. I was having problems with my well pump not shutting off correctly. The well guys said I had a power problem between the breaker box and the well box. They spent a lot of time trying to diagnose the problem I thought I was going to have to trench and replace 300 feet of wiring. Found out it was just a broken wire at the point of connection in the well pump box. It had broken but stayed in place and appeared to be connected. Stripped the end and plugged it in. We had a "handyman" install our Ring doorbell incorrectly resulting in a number of issues. I called Hernandez Electrical and they sent out Arturo and Martin within an hour of my call. They immediately fixed the wiring problem and I also had them replace an AFCI breaker, install some bathroom vanity lights and an outdoor plug. The power in our house started randomly acting up. Outlets would randomly start/stop working. Our car chargers all stopped working. Our pool pump went out. We called Marcos through a referral and he responded within minutes. Our main breaker had gone out and we lost all 220 power (I think) and our 110 was on the fritz. We contracted with Pahler Home Builders to upgrade our kitchen. They partnered with Hernandez Electric to handle our lighting. Marcus sent one of his electricians, Johnny, to do the work. We needed under-counter old wiring & light boxes removed and new lighting installed. We also wanted wiring installed to mount a flat panel TV above a fireplace in the living room. Johnny handled all of the electrical work perfectly & offered advice on what type of lighting, dimmers & switches should be considered. He installed "tape lights" which we had never heard of and we love them! Very low profile with graduated brightness. He also installed 2 pendant lights above our island & changed out our ceiling lights. The TV wiring took Johnny underneath the house & he gladly crawled under which surprised me!
