During the storms we had lost power on several circuits in our house in Arroyo Grande. After another electrician spent an entire day and failed to find the issue, Jim came on time and was able trace back and locate the issue within a short period of time. While he was there he also solved several other wiring issues on some half-hot outlets that had been plaguing us for years. Jim has been a life save for our business in Cambria. We own Mojo's Village Bean. Our first time meeting was a panic call for a new oven we purchased and had the wrong plug. He was able to squeeze us in and had us running that same day. He was clean and neat working that it was great. Our most issue was with our ice cream freezer needed to be on its own circuit. It was not a pressing issue so he was able to come by on a day we were closed. He was able to resolve the issues and fix a couple of other things. He is so nice and works great. His rates are fair and he just has a great attitude about him. One thing I really like is that after you let him know what you would like to have done he goes back over it with you to make sure he knows exactly what needs to be done. After phoning two other local electricians & waiting, waiting, waiting for their return calls (which were never returned), I found Jim Rady. We used Rady Electric for a few small jobs: install 2 wall sconces so that the wire was in the wall rather than snaked down the wall, replaced a frayed cord on a vintage mangle, re-run wires through a cupboard so they wouldn't be so obvious. Our experience with Jim was phenomenal. From beginning to end, he was professional, personable and punctual. We contacted Jim a couple months ago to do some upgrades to our garage; he responded immediately and set up an appointment for a quote the same day. When he arrived to give us a quote, he was completely upfront with all the potential options: ranging from full-on intensive (including trenching and a new circuit) to quick fixes (a couple of additional junction boxes and external conduit). He was very clear on the pros and cons of each option, allowing us to make the fully informed decision on what to do.
