Austin at JFC is great. My insurance company required a Moe's Flow valve to continue coverage and Austin has it done in no time. I called him up and he was out in just a few days. With an older house there is not a lot of room to install that valve but he worked his magic and in a few hours the valve was installed and doing its job of detecting leaks. They installed my water filtration system at my house and it was life changing since I'm on well water. I no longer have hard water and the RO system works great. Fast forward to today. I called them this morning and they were here within 3 hours. In a couple hours of work, they installed a new water heater, snaked a troublesome drain, and installed a new toilet flush system. I thought I smelled gas in the house. I called at about 5:30 on Friday evening and Scott picked right up. We had a brief conversation about the odor and I explained that others asked me if it smelled like rotten eggs, but I don't know what rotten eggs smell like, so hard to tell. Scott said he would be over in the morning, and didn't hesitate when I suggested 8:00 am on Saturday! He arrived on time, checked things over ..... no gas leak. He made a suggestion about keeping water in the pipes so that it doesn't evaporate and fill the house with gas from waste. I've had professionals from other trades out to investegate, and I was so happy to finally have someone tell me what the problem could be, rather than what the problem definitely was not. After following his suggestion for the past week, the odor seems to have abated. I have already shared his name with a couple of people. Finding a good plumber is like finding a good doctor -- you have to become a client early before their contact list fills up. Thanks again Scott. read more

Call JFC for any of your plumbing needs. I spoke with Scott regarding replacing a broken garbage disposal. He was flexible with days and times, and able to come out within 2 business days of me calling (he even offered to squeeze me in the very next day, but it wasn't necessary) Scott arrived on time for the appointment, was very professional and friendly. Not only did he replace the disposal quickly, he also let me know that the air gap was installed, but not connected. He connected it and didn't even increase the original quote given. Our air gap cover was pretty old, and he had a brand new one on the truck, which he offered to swap out (but didn't push). We appreciated that & we did have him switch out to the new one (minimal charge for the new piece only, to be expected). JFC's prices are extremely fair & reasonable. Responsive, punctual and knowledgeable. I called Scott to come plumb up my new water softener. As it turns out, the previous water softener was only plumbed to the hot water so all of the cold water throughout the house was still hard (I had no idea). I'm glad I called JFC to do this job, otherwise my new water softener would only be softening half of my water supply. Scott (JFC Plumbing) was great. Got our sewer line cleared quickly. It wasn't an obvious drain clean out situation to me. He took a look at the house and figured it out right away. He also had a camera on his truck to take a look at the condition of the sewer line after it was clear. He keeps his truck and equipment clean too. Our water heater blew out and our regular plumber never called us back. We called another company and they couldn't help us until the next afternoon. We were on day three of cold water and I looked up yelp reviews to get some immediate help. JFC did not disappoint. I called Scott and he and his partner showed up an hour later. We ended up having to buy a new water heater. They went and bought a new one, installed it, took the bad heater away and three hours after my initial call, we had hot water. They are super nice, friendly, skilled and we were back to showering, doing dishes and laundry all in the same day. I don't do reviews but needed to share our amazing experience with this fantastic company and professional group of people.
