On my way into the restaurant this morning, there was a gentleman standing outside, minding his own business, not speaking to anyone that didn't speak to him, wasn't causing a scene, nothing. When the waitress came to take our order, I requested a to go drink and a to go biscuits and gravy. She then asks me if it's for the man outside and I confirm. This woman proceeds to storm out the restaurant verbally degrade this gentleman. And if she wasn't on enough of an ego trip, she picks up the phone and calls 911 on this woman. I then watch her walk to the kitchen and make it known to the staff, as they ALL laugh. I will never reward such disgusting and horrible behavior as such. My entire table got up, told her to cancel our drinks, we won't be giving her or an establish who's acts this way any money. The audacity to act as if we had offended her was comical! Regardless of what ANYONE is going through, nothing is worst than having absolutely nothing. No harm was caused by us feeding a man in need. Nutrition is a lifeline and regardless of situations, to bluntly make it known to the entire restaurant as well, this woman should be fired. Have a kind heart, do better!!! You never know when you'll be down on your luck and someone / ANYONE offering to do a harmless and selfless act, no matter where it's happening, should NOT be disrespected. Do better Cloverleaf, that was the most disgraceful and distasteful act a human can do, to someone down on their luck!!! I might add as a suggestion too for your "family owned company" why not add some empathy and benevolent and consider giving the man a job for a start. I'm sure he'd be happy just to clean tables for a start. Be the difference that CAN make a difference in someone's life!!!

Hubby had the tenderloin breakfast #9 and said it was delicious. Tenderloin was melt in your mouth good. Opt for the 3D fried potatoes instead of hash browns. The eggs were cooked perfectly and toast was liberally buttered. Fantastic and delicious! I had the #13 skillet. Very tasty and not over cooked like many scrambled skillets. We both had 1/2 biscuits and gravy - also delicious! Not salty so you can add your own to taste and also pepper. Makes it perfect for both of us! We will definitely be back when we are here next time! Oh and our server was absolutely lovely and very attentive despite having a ton of tables and running around like crazy. She was working so hard but always smiling! She did take a minute to chat to our toddler very sweetly, which was so kind since the place was so busy!

Great food every time, with plenty of variety. I even strayed from the norm on this visit and ordered the breakfast burrito. To be fair, I prefer the large breakfast platters (and biscuits and gravy) but I knew I had a big lunch ahead so I ordered small. The burrito was great, though the sausage distribution was uneven. Half of it was amazing and full of sausage. The other half less so. My son had on of the platters and I apologize for forgetting the name, but it was ham, eggs hash browns and toast. Loved it of course, and probably would have ordered more if I let him! Service always quick and friendly, and it's a place we repeat often.

We have been coming for years and just tried brunch today and it was 10/10! Spring menu highlight: the cabbage is phenomenal! Went for dinner on a non-football weekend night and had great service. Helpful guidance on menu choices and super attentive without being a bother. The room and bar are handsomely decked out, with comfortable, well-spaced tables and banquettes and booths. Makes for a fun setting. The food is seasonal and local -- lots of corn and squash this time of year. The chicken roulettes are excellent, as was the beet salad with Calabrian honey and whipped feta -- a nice sweet/hot combo. The steak frites was perfectly cooked to medium rare as requested, and accompanied by scalloped potato fries. Don't miss the desserts, either. The sweet corn creme brûlée with popped sorghum was totally new to me and delish. The chocolate medley was also excellent. Kudos for well-made cocktails too. Great experience and 100% different from everything else in town. A little NYC in IN.
