Great location located near the 10fwy. Inside tables were clean and spaces organized. Staff gave a warm welcome and great hospitality during our visit. Their menu options have great deals that can't be beat. For the quality it's a great choice for a quick lunch break. The lemonade is so fresh one of the best tasting. 4/24/26 Miguel's Jr Ontario, CA... Ordered the Miguel's Jr Trio. Bean & Cheese Burrito , Chicken Taco , and a Lemonade to drink! A great deal for $8 which has stuck around by popular demand! My friend and I also shared a side of fries and a Caramel Churro for dessert. All was so Yummy! The cashier lady manager at the front was very nice and has great customer service! Known for delicious homestyle Mexican food. My usual is their BRC Burrito, been my go to for many years but tonight I wanted one of their delicious bowls. They quac burrito bowl, so good! Filled with Spanish rice topped with pinto beans, jack cheese, diced tomatoes, cilantro, onions, chunky guacamole, and your choice of protein. I had chicken. Delicious! Service was awesome! Food came out quick. The only issue and unfortunately I have to speak up about it is their bowls portion size. Maybe a little but bigger portion size for the price given. read more

For years I've been getting carne garbage burritos. The pork verde version is really good too and a little cheaper. Chicken is too plain for me, but healthier. Their red sauce is bomb. A lot of fresh tomato flavor and oregano. This is always in rotation, and I live an HOUR away, a couple cities west of Pasadena. I try to stop by at this location and Upland shop when I can. Miguel Jr is a traditional Hispanic inspired taco/burrito restaurant in SoCal. The restaurant itself was clean, and I saw an employee picking up trays during visit. The floors and tables were clean... A+ The food itself was very tasty. The shredded beef tacos were seasoned well, and served in a traditional fried shell. The beans and rice had great flavor, with the beans being a bit on the salty side. The drinks are traditional, including all the normal coke flavors. The plate with two tacos is right at 13.50 with tax including the drink. An extra taco is around 3.50. Not horrible cost wise, but more expensive than other quick casual restaurants. Sometimes the food at the Ontario location is on point but when it is not, it absolutely sucks! Lately, the food and portions at this location have fallen off a cliff. I can only assume they got a new cook or management is trying to make numbers higher to please the bean counters. Whatever the case, one spoonful of sauce on my wet burrito does not cut it. When 3 hot sauces cover more of the burrito than the enchilada sauce, ya'll are just being stingy/greedy. For context, I ordered a BRC burrito (wet) last week and there was no sauce under the burrito, let alone on top of it. If that wasn't insulting enough, the size and weight of the burrito felt about the same weight as Del Taco's 1/2 pound bean and cheese burritos. For $9, I could have eaten a lot more at Del Taco than what I was served. I've been coming here off and on for the last 10 years and shrink-flation has hit this location hard. I will seriously reconsider my choices for Mexican food going forward. I truly hope this is just a year-end anomaly. read more

Still not our extra cheese we paid for. The problem is when we ask for extra cheese they either don't add extra cheese or they add extra beans which takes away the point of the extra cheese. This burrito was so bad that I had a blow out in a double wrapped...this has never happened :-( How hard is it to find a cook to follow directions????? The burrito was good as always the tortilla chips crunchy, and the guacamole was full of flavor. The coffee Chata on the other hand, literally watered down Horchata with a bitter coffee taste. I called the location, asked for the Manager let her know that it tasted off. She proceeded to tell me that multiple people have been ordering all day and nobody has complained about the coffeechata. I like this place. It's pretty quiet. I see more orders coming in through the Drive-thru. I never tried Miguel Jrs but was referred. We had some Birria tacos, side of beans and BRC burrito and yes of course, it's fall and they have a seasonal Pumpkin Horchata which was soo pumpkiny! Didn't take the burrito pic. But it was really good! Everything was flavorful. Not bland. Customer service was good. It's very clean inside. I'll be trying something new soon! read more

Wow what an experience. Me and boyfriend first time here it was so good we even considered getting more. All so yummy, and staff was super nice too even decently late at night closer to closing when we sat inside. We got a combo plate with a shredded beef taco and enchilada, a carne Asada quesadilla, and 2 Carmel church's. All so juicy fresh and delicious. Don't expect anything gourmet but if you're craving Mexican food then you'll get your craving satisfied. Burritos will forever be on my list of top favorite foods so I went with two of their classics: Bean and Cheese Burrito & BRC Burrito. The one with rice held itself together but the beans in the bean and cheese were so runny that it fell apart right away since I decided to cut it in half. They're both good options but if you're looking for a clean one then stick with the BRC. I also couldn't help myself because the Carne Asada Soft Taco also sounded good so I got that on the side. It wasn't anything special but nothing a little hot sauce can't fix. I loved how saucy my Chicken Enchilada and Relleno Plate was. The cheese was melted and gooey which paired so nicely with the beans and rice on the side. This was my first chile relleno and I can't say it was my favorite. However, the enchilada was delicious and I wish I doubled that order instead. This truly is the definition of Mexican fast food because I sat down for no longer than 3 minutes and my entire order was already ready. read more

Strike 3 (maybe 4 ) This review is solely for this Ontario location. I have come here a few times on my way to the airport or on my way home but last month was the last! As I prep for another trip I know I'm not going there to pick up my usual 10 + for my son & grandsons burrito fix, the beans are always runny & it never fails, I mean never fails!!! the tortilla is torn or has what looks to be a finger puncture. I believe the 2nd or 3rd time there I requested they double wrap the burrito but as a carb conscious person I can't do that either, plus it throws the whole balance off. This stuff has NEVER once happened at the Corona or Norco location (or any random Miguel's I've stopped at) & I've been a fan since they had the 1st location (6th st, Corona). When family comes to town it's always a 1st stop (usually Norco and they never disappoint, except the price ofcourse bc I go way back when B&C were .99 but it is what it is. I reiterate, this review is for Ontario location ONLY. Sadly it's every time I have been there if not all 4, it's 3 of the 4. Tip: if you are limited to this location and get a large burrito, rather than holding what will be a disastrous mess due to the runny beans & torn tortilla before you even begin, just get it wet style. Save yourself the frustration. In my case when I am taking to my son out of state, I cannot so I definitely have to arrange & pick up elsewhere as much as I hate backtracking -my petpeve especially on traveling day/morning. Miguel's, what happen?? Normally your food is always been spot on. I ordered Chicken Taquitos, a Chicken Guac Bowl, and a lemonade. The taquitos were either old or had been frozen too long. Very little chicken. I threw it away The Guac bowl had a few strings of chicken mostly rice, beans and salsa. I threw that away as well. I've been coming here for years, very disappointed. HEAR ME OUT! Sure this is technically fast food Mexican, however the food is soooo fresh and is definitely several tiers above a Taco Bell or Del Taco. This place has options and the meat is always mouthwatering. I highly recommend a wet burrito with shredded beef or a chile verde burrito. The service is also quite speedy and we never felt rushed. The staff seemed to enjoy their job and the location was pretty clean. The ambiance is pretty calm and it's a good place to chill. It's not too far from the fun on the other side of the 10 freeway like Toyota arena or the hotels. I'm definitely returning and I'm not ashamed to say this is good Mexican food even if it's not 100% authentic. It's delicious and it tastes great! read more

I just wanted to Yelp recognize Natalia, an employee who helped me (standing outside taking orders in the cold weather on a night shift) because she was very polite and efficient at her job. WOW!!! everything here was so good! ive never been to one of their locations so i was not sure what to expect, but i was extremely happy with everything! i was greeted when i walked in, and the team member working the front was busy assisting a customer. she let me know she'd be right with me. she apologized for the wait and was happy to answer and explain any menu item, since it was my first time i had a bit. my ticket said her name was ashley! she was awesome! the food was awesome! i wanted something filling but lighter. their garbage burrito sounds so yummy but i opted for their brc burrito since it was much less ingredients and seemed lighter. the lemonade tasted homemade and was delicious. the guac and salsa were flavorful and delicious. and those tortilla chips had a beautiful crunch. everything was wonderful and super cheap. will defintely stop back in soon!! read more

It's fast food and while I wouldn't normally highlight a fast food chain, this place is an exception. Anyone who's ventured to the Miguel's Mecca in Corona, you know the food is good but who has time to sit down on a week day? The Jr locations that are popping up have the same ambiance of the big restaurant - all decorated well with salsa bars and great drinks. The service is always fast, helpful with menus questions and just all around great. The food is always good, shredded beef is always tender and has a great flavor. Tacos remind me of ones my grandma used to fry up for us. Taquitos are never soggy. And if you catch them in the holiday season, they carry tamales and pazole. I had the carne plate with Chile Verde with pork meat, the Chile had no kick, flavor was ok, rice and beans were horrible. I expected something better. Bored during the pandemic with limited social outlets, my sister and I set off to relive this facet of our youth. We stuck to the famed bean, rice, and cheese burrito ($4.07). It's a burrito filled with refried beans, Spanish rice, and cheddar cheese. The burrito was no frills and tasted exactly how it sounds - a little bland and underwhelming. We also tried the taquitos ($5.19) for 3. These are stuffed with chicken, topped with homemade creamy guacamole + melted cheddar cheese. These were good - the tortillas were slightly stale. The radioactive orange of the cheese was a little off-putting. I like places like Miguel's - nostalgic institutions that serves up pretty good food you can depend on. read more

The customer service is so much better here compared to their Fontana location and my husband swears the meat is seasoned a lot better! I went through the drive thru as we were in a bit of a time crunch and the lady Amalia at the drive through was so helpful and patient with us because my husband is on a restricted diet and we had questions about the food. The customer service here was so much better compared to some of their other locations. My granddaughter is a picky eater but she loves the tacos from here, I would also recommend the relleno burrito! read more
