This location is probably my favorite. They're fast at making your food and they always have a clean dining room. Their food is good (same as any other mighty) their seasonal chili is good, especially for a fast food place. And they even started selling beer a while back. How many idiots does it take to fail at making a taco? I counted 5. Apparently understanding extra lettuce on 2 tacos is beyond the pay grade at Mighty Taco. They did succeed at charging me the extra money for it though. What a Slop Fest. Mighty used to be great, now its garbage. At least at this location anyways. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. Mighty isn't what it used to be.. especially this location. The service is awful and employees are standing around talking to each other about their weekend plans instead of attending to guests at the counter. On top of the service, the food is trash. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and the chicken was inedible (and I'm unsure if it was even cooked). I don't know, see for yourself in the attached photo. Yellow chicken? Gross. I've gone here nearly every day, usually for a late night snack. I absolutely love the Buffalo, I always get one - with blue cheese of course. Delicious. I always get a couple "mighty taco's", hard shell, ground beef with hot sauce. Delicious. I have to limit myself to three or I'm gonna get fat. (I'm not yet). I've tried the new fried jalapeño cheddar, I didn't like it. But, that's not detracting from my review. You might like it, I just didn't. I've also ordered the chicken fajita with peppers and onions and it's wonderful. I get this for later to heat up when I get hungry and it heats up really nicely in the microwave. Sometimes the line is long and slow. It's even slower in the restaurant, so stuck to drive through. The employees have always been respectful and professional. Except, some of them need to watch their weight. They're eating too much working there! Highly recommend. read more

I'm from California, so I'm used to Taco Bell and real Mexican food. For some reason Taco Bell out here makes me sick every time, so if I need a Tex-mex fix, I come here. We tried this place at 12am and that's exactly what its good for....late night drunk food. I was really surprised with all the options that they had and it took a minute to take it all it. We decided to try the tacos with ground chicken since I've never seen this as an option so why not right? We also got some kind of bacon burrito and rice and beans. The food was ok and in my opinion it could have been a little more flavorful. I like how the tacos I ordered were actually spicy ( I ordered medium) and that you could get wheat tortillas with real tomatoes and sour cream on them. The rice and beans however wasn't good at all. Way too much refried beans on a little bit of rice that seemed dry. The guy that took our order in the drive thru was really patient with us and gave us some recommendations so that was a welcome change from normal drive thru restaurants. Mighty Taco ain't what it used to be. I fell in love with Mighty Taco on Seneca Street 35 years ago. Soft Super Mighties with hot sauce at 3AM after spending the night next door at Rooftops watching a band. It was awesome! They were made like you would make them at home with real ingredients, mainly real hamburger. Today they use what my son calls "meat paste". My son worked at the Ridge Road location when it was a Burger King. They should have left it a Burger King as Burger King still uses real hamburger. The meat paste must have a lot of soy in it. I don't like it all. It looks like cafeteria glop and does not meet my low standards. That is why whenever I'm with someone who wants to stop at Mighty Taco these days I will have a chicken fajita so they can't blindside me with fake meat! Their other offerings in sure are still fine, but that meat paste has to go! read more

Growing up in Buffalo, NY...your entire teenage years are wasted mowing laws, getting a paper route or getting your first part-time job...just to go spend it at Mighty Taco. Well, I wish I would of left it in my teenage years, because back then, it used to be great. A big sloppy three cheese nacho burrito with real ground beef (compared to taco bells mystery meat) with lots of cheesy goodness. Now, it's tortilla chips...in a soft shell. I work right across the street from this Mighty Taco, so more often than I would like to admit, I get the urge to go over there and give it another try. Like right now for instance, I have a half eaten three cheese nacho burrito in front of me... where it will probably sit until I am done with this review...and then it will make it's way to the trash where it belongs. I don't know why I keep trying, when each time I am more and more disappointed. Today, will be the last time I eat Mighty Taco...unless I'm drunk at 1am and need someplace to curb my grease muchies. My burrito is literally meatless...and although it is suppose to come with ground beef...all it has is tortilla chips. It's dry and tasteless. Actually, I shouldnt say its tasteless because I can taste the lumps of salsa in there...which I dont remember salsa ever being on my 3 cheese burrito...but maybe it has always been there and I have been too drunk to notice ? But it's crap. Tastes like a ton of wasted money. If I wanted nachos with salsa, I would have ordered it. I really hope that Mighty Taco gets their stuff together, and soon, because whenever friends or family would come in from out of town, I would always take them there, proud to say that it is like a Buffalo tradition. 11-15-2019 Went through the drive-through and ordered two meatless tacos specifically without tomato as my wife is allergic to tomatoes. Upon returning home found out the tacos contained tomatoes ,called the store and spoke with the manager-only to be told that my order cannot be refunded. That is the worst customer service I have ever encountered in my life and I will never spend another penny of my hard-earned money being disrespected after my order was incorrectly prepared by someone who clearly should not be preparing food as the individual clearly cannot understand what NO TOMATO means..What happened to the customer always being right? Mighty Taco drive thru, and although it was almost time for closing, Sherry (or Cheri?) was so friendly and happy, especially for working such a late shift.
