Ted Bayouth is excellent as a general contractor because his word is his bond, and he keeps his promises. The second most crucial factor is the skill level/kindness/cleanliness of the subcontractors, and Ted Bayouth hires only the best. Victor on tile, Jose on floors, Bruce on plumbing, and Oscar on painting ... all top notch guys. Remodeling will take longer than expected ... especially when specialty doors and windows and faucets need to be ordered. But trust/great subs make up for the unwanted delays. We've heard so many horror stories of contractors stealing deposits, floors buckling due to no vapor barrier, etc ... but we have had no such concerns with the Bayouth Construction team.

We selected the new countertops from samples in their showroom, then shopped on our own for the tile backsplash, all new appliances and fixtures. Westside was very flexible in allowing us to be hands-on with the process and our selections. For Clients who prefer more creative guidance, Westside offers in-house design services. Jonathan and the entire Westside team were exceptional in their care and concern for the Client. Further, their various tradespeople were friendly and competent without exception. Importantly, they also finished within budget and estimated timeline. Although we have held off painting the kitchen walls and restoring the floor tile pending completion of other work planned for our home, we have already settled into our "mostly new" kitchen. We are enjoying cooking again vs. the dingy, outdated workspace we had previously. (Check out the Before & After photos we posted with this review.)

Whether it's a major renovation, a plumbing repair, or any other home improvement project, I recommend Rabin General Construction without hesitation. They've earned my trust through consistently excellent work, and they will continue to be my go-to contractor for anything home repair or renovation related.

From day one, he went above and beyond in ways that honestly aren't even discussed anymore in this industry. Communication was clear, expectations were met or exceeded, and every detail was handled with care. When issues came up, he didn't deflect or disappear, he owned them and fixed them the right way. That alone sets him apart. The end result completely blew us away. The quality of the work, the attention to detail, and the pride he clearly takes in what he does showed in every part of the project. We were genuinely thrilled with how everything turned out. What really says it all is that at the end of the project, we were standing there having a drink together, not stressed, not relieved it was over, but actually happy. That kind of experience with a general contractor is rare. I recommend him to everyone we meet, without hesitation. If you're considering working with him, do it. You won't regret it.

He is a person of integrity who takes pride in standing behind the work of his company, which matters a lot when dealing with all the moving pieces of permits, construction schedules, materials and inspections. We appreciated his good nature and patience when waiting for inspectors to arrive for inspections, his flexibility in scheduling meetings with us, as well as his knowledge, explanations and thoughtful design suggestions. We extend our thanks to Jonathan and his great workers for the excellent end result of our project and in addition to Jonathan, who oversaw everything, wish to extend special thanks to Chico, his foreman, Liliana, who ordered materials, and master painters, Oscar and Tony.
