After reading reviews and hearing good things about Gray Goat from friends, I decided to take my bike here for a spring tuneup. No appointment was needed, although you might want to call ahead and confirm - they get very busy in the spring/summer (as you can imagine). I was told it would be about three weeks, and it ended up taking about four weeks. Plan ahead if you need or want your bike within a certain time frame! After 3.5 weeks, I called to get an update, and the employee was super friendly and explained they were a bit behind schedule because of demand. A few days later, I received a text message that my bike was ready for pickup. Really pleased with my experience with Gray Goat and highly recommend doing business here! Aside from the service shop, you can come here to browse new bikes, equipment, etc. The employees seem really knowledgeable about the products and all things cycling.

One of the Best Experiences I've Ever Had!…read more We recently participated in a team scavenger hunt with Pedego Electric Bikes Indy and it was an absolute blast! As someone who hadn't ridden a bike in over 20 years, I was a little nervous -- but the electric bikes were incredibly easy to maneuver and so much fun to ride! Scot and Cathy, the wonderful owners, made the entire experience smooth, welcoming, and memorable. Their kindness and passion for what they do really shines through. I'm new to Indy, so solving the clues and discovering local landmarks added an extra layer of excitement. Chatting with Scot and Cathy to see if we guessed correctly made our victories even sweeter! And of course, I can't forget the real stars of the show -- Hamilton and Schuyler, the adorable "employees of the month," who greeted us with wagging tails and made us feel right at home. I may be a little biased (our team did win, after all), but this was hands down one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had. Whether you're a local or just passing through, I highly recommend checking them out. Pedego Indy is an absolute gem!

Responsive to all needs in all the right ways in an absolutely gone-wrong world of manufacturing…read moreand shipping deficiencies known to end such businesses overnight. It's hard to feel served by a business that falls short of pre-Covid-19 expectations. That's because you haven't been served. However, since that is the unavoidable reality in the world of bicycle shops, you will have to adjust those expectations if you want any substantive interaction with it. Here's what you should know to make that eventually happen: Gray Goat fails in no wise to understand the hardship in that for you, and it shows. For example: If a bike you want isn't available due to a manufacturing or shipping delay beyond their control, they can tell you why with a specificity akin to an IRS audit. They can say where your bike is made, where and how is it shipped and stored, in some cases, down to the production schedule, storage depot and transportation route. Insodoing, they ground your expectations in detailed reality, never once shrugging their shoulders in a your-guess-is-as-good-as-mine fashion. Of course, that changes nothing until it changes something, and your assessment of the futility of that is right-on. Even still, you should fail in no-wise to see just how important their business is to them. Regardless of their motivation -- whether it be for the love of money or the love of you -- their demonstration of a desperate desire to keep going evidences an absence of and aversion to the prevalence of disinterest that now pervades most businesses that have succumbed to their impending doom. Unless you have already succumbed to same, you'll find their attitude a boost against same. That's nothing now, I'll admit; but it's something later if God be true. A passion for business, which is a passion for people, becomes a habit when it endures. Even though Gray Goat suffers like everyone else, I'm confident a difference will reveal itself in the end.
