Almond matcha cookies ($5 each) and pistachio macarons ($3 each).
    Howard L.

Son brought back some goodies from this newish Milwaukee bakery. Their almond matcha cookies were tip-top delicious and go for $5. The apple spice macarons go for $2 and were tip-top fresh and delicate. The spice level was very mild also. Great products experienced from here so far!

Stopped for a quick snack and had to try all of the things. So many good options to pick from. Loved the fluffernutter cookie, it was so good. We will for sure be back to try their homemade biscuits and breakfast sandwiches. Service was great, felt welcomed.

Great spot in lower level of 770 N Jefferson building! I tried the brownie, Caramel Apple Cinnamon Roll, banana pudding and banana pudding with peanut butter. The banana pudding lived up to the hype I heard from a couple of friends! The version with peanut butter was good, too, but I wanted a little more peanut butter. The brownie is BIG and a great value. It is crisp and crumbly and chocolatey and tasty! The Caramel Apple Cinnamon Roll was creative and delicious and finished off with glitter for fun presentation. I want to go back to try other treats and specials, as well as lunch items I've seen them post about on the socials. They are worth checking out and open until 6:00PM. Be sure to catch the Sad Hour with 30% off their sweets from 3:00-6:00!

I love this Cafe/Bar/Bakery with my whole heart. I love the constant rotation with the breakfast/lunch and Dinner Menu. Sam is a delight every time I go there. Exceptional service during the week. Plus! One of few places open on a Monday. I try to stop in once or twice a week and I always find something new to try. The bakery section is always so fun to go through but be mindful as they sell out fast! That's how yummy their sweets are. Just the right amount of sugar I would say. ;)

Hidden gem Tucked away in the basement of 770 N Jefferson alongside Shah Jee's is this super cute little bakery. The owner is super friendly and the baked goods are delicious. Besides sweet offerings they also have fantastic sandwiches and other savory items. Service is quick and they have a pretty solid variety of items to suit your workday needs. It's definitely worth seeking out!

Stopped in one evening for a post dinner dessert. Tried the carrot cake blondie with cream cheese frosting and it was phenomenal. Will be coming back soon to try more tasty treats! Also love what they've done with the space; the vibes are immaculate.

The cookies are large so snacking on them is a dangerous road to go down, but oh, so worth it! I left then on a plate on my counter and as the day went on the cookies started to disappear. Luckily I had family to help me, but these are great cookies! No pictures of the whole cookies because they were started on before I could grab my camera. They will be gone by bedtime, I'm sure. These have flavor, unlike some others that are just plain dough with little flavor except for the chips or m&ms. Every bite is great!

I ordered two pastries that were breakfast style, and sadly when I left and went to eat them 5 min later realized they microwaved them. You can buy the MOST amazing pastry made with love and perfection and put it in the microwave and it's garbage. I am shocked a bakery would EVER do this. I took a nibble of each of the two and threw them away. Other pastries (cookie) were great. Seriously! What baker allows a microwave!?!? Stop doing this. Get an air fryer or just serve room temp and they would be great instead of in the garbage pail right outside your bakery. You've got a great place here ruined by 20 seconds of harm.

I have seen posts on FB about this place so of course I wanted to try it while I was in the area…read more The place itself gave Parisian cafe vibes that was clean with cute decor and plenty of seating. Unfortunately that's where it stopped for me. They had baked goods on a wall display and a display by the counter, along with cake in a refrigerator. Unfortunately, none of it looked fresh nor did any of it stood out to me or was very appeasing. The regular croissants looked very dry and flaky and the chocolate croissants were flat and smashed looking. Even the cake in the refrigerator looked dry... I did end up buying a lemon blueberry scone along with an almond danish- and I feel like I wasted $10. My 10 year old child thought the scone was old and stale. The almond danish basically was phyllo dough with a big dollop of almond paste- I couldn't even eat half of it. They do have a menu with soup and croissant sandwiches, but they're very over priced. $18.50 for a bacon egg and cheese croissant!?! Hard pass for me. Some advice should you choose to try this place, keep an eye out on your receipt. While I do hope it was an honest mistake- the guy working there was nice- he charged me $6/piece for the scones and the danish when they were actually $5/piece. I did bring it to his attention before I paid and he did adjust the prices. Whatever he rang them up as- was not listed as a "scone" or "danish."

The bacon egg and cheese on croissant was unbalanced, unsavory, too cute on presentation, not enough on substance. Overpriced at $18.50. Balsamic drizzle on the plate looked more like Italy than Paris. Absolutely no one in the cafe at 10-1030 on a Friday morning on the town square. Sorry, can't say I would return here again.

I parked on Prospect Ave at Ivanhoe…read moreand found this cute bakery in the secluded area between Prospect and North Ave. I arrived 10 minutes before closing so the bakery case was rather empty. But I easily found two things I wanted to try. I was greeted so kindly and my cinnamon roll and coffee were prepared quickly. I could not resist an additional coffee cake and sat down to try them all. As the young man behind the counter said, the cinnamon roll and coffee cake are the best around. Yes they are! I am not a coffee connoisseur by any means, but I immediately knew this was the smoothest coffee I have had. The cinnamon roll had just the right amount of frosting on it, and the wonderful cinnamon cake came through well. The coffee cake was another perfectly made treat and I have to admit I ate them both at once, not wanted to waste a moment of their flavors. The bakery is little and inviting.
