Nelson Allsbury conducted an inspection of a house I purchased in July as a rental. As I am out of…read morestate, I relied on his inspection and purchased the house "as is". As soon as the tenant moved in, problems began showing up. Of course, he blamed the tenant, but one problem that definitely is not the tenant's fault (not that I think any of them are), is that the garage door was installed incorrectly. His answer to that was that it opened and closed okay. A good inspector would have seen that the installation was incorrect and noted that on the report, which he didn't do. The cost to fix all the problems has been substantial, and he takes no responsibility. I don't recommend the use of either this company or Mr. Allsbury.
