We are, sadly, yet another victim of the Folsom pinhole leaks. We previously had two pinhole leaks, one in the ceiling of the garage and one outside near the pipes to the sprinklers. This latest one was a hot water leak under the slab in the master closet, and the final straw. Due to our previously outstanding experience with Michael and Leak Finders, they were our first call, and our only call. Michael quickly detected the leak and then explained our options: 1) Only fix the leak 2) Repipe only the hot water 3) Repipe both the hot and cold. He thoroughly explained all our options, including exactly what would be done for each scenario, and the cost. Since this was our third leak we decided to go with the repipe. I can't stress this enough, Michael is punctual, communicates clearly, very meticulous and very clean. The job took 2 weeks. Every single day he was on time. Each day he vacuumed the areas he worked in and put his tools away. If it weren't for the holes we wouldn't even know he'd been there. He limited the holes that had to be made and explained to me every day what he'd be working on. My wife joked he left the house cleaner when he left each day than it was before he arrived. The job is done now and we are thrilled with the work he did. We can't recommend him highly enough. We all have our contractor horror stories. You definitely wouldn't get anything other than a success story with Michael and Leak Finders. We are confident the days of pinhole leaks are behind us. He also added several more hose bibs for us where there were none before. We have have on on every side of our house. A positive side note is we also get our hot water more quickly, and it gets hotter faster. I've only posted a few of the pictures. He treated us and our house with great care. Meet with Michael and we feel strongly you'll see the difference and why he is our only call! read more

Mike and Mary are awesome!!! I had an underground leak from a pipe feeding my pool. They fixed it in one day and did an excellent photo and written explanation for my insurance company. Mike did a great job to find and fix our brand new pool. He is polite and professional which makes it easy to work with.

Casey - Now that it has been over a week I wanted to check in again on the receipt and pictures being sent over to me. After your message and Michael texting me he was on vacation, I wanted to wait - subsequently I have now followed up with recent calls to your office and Michael's cell phone after waiting a week as well as a text - no response. I am not interested in communicating through Yelp but no answer doesn't work for me either. read more

Add me to the Michael fans. After seeing the water level in my pool go down quickly in in the winter (which shouldn't happen) I knew had a leak - I just didn't know where. Michael came out and found leaks in two places -- my skimmer and my pump. He gave me a detailed diagnosis along with some options to resolve the issues. Long story short-- a week later I have a new energy efficient pool pump (along with a sweet SMUD rebate) and a skimmer that does not leak. Once I had the diagnosis and an estimate for repair, I got other repair estimates and did some research on pool pumps. Michael's proposal was very fair and he chose quality equipment which will save me money on my electric bill. You will not go wrong using Michael and Leak Finders. I am one satisfied customer! read more

Best money I've spent on a home repair in a long time! Kept having to add salt to our pool so knew we had a leak, but where? Michael came out, inspected virtually every pipe and penetration including solar, equipment, skimmer, light, inlets, outlets, even spent almost an hour diving to checking everything including how our multiple drains were connected. He confirmed the only leak was at the skimmer and arranged to fix it for a very reasonable price with a 1-year warranty and in short order! Highly recommend him and will definitely be referring business to him in the future! Note: I paid another leak company more money the day before who did not dive, spent less than 1/2 hour onsite and never gave me an estimate for the repair. So glad we found Leak Finders instead! read more

We had a leak in our pool pipes that we realized was probably under concrete after getting new equipment and replacing a bunch of pipes ourselves. I called Leak Finders because of the great reviews and I'm glad I did. They were able to come the next day and guarantee a leak detection for a fair price. Within an hour the technician was able to find exactly where the leak was and how I could fix the problem on my own. He did a full check and confirmed there were no other leaks. He also had tips on where other leaks commonly occur and how we can do basic maintenance to keep that from happening. I would definitely recommend Leak Finders. read more

Great company, came out on time, professional, and found the problem with no issues. Appreciate it, would recommend them to others.

I can't recommend Michael and Leak Finders enough! Five stars feels like too few. That's how fantastic he and his company are!! Our pool was leaking an inch a day (in the winter!) so we knew we needed help fast. So thankful we found Leak Finders on Yelp! We got a call back within an hour and had an appointment set up for the following Friday (2 days after our call). Casey was friendly and helpful making the appointment and let us know that Michael would be out at 10am. We can't say enough good things about Michael! He was on time, very personable, professional, and trustworthy. He explained the entire process of finding the leak (fascinating!), listened to all our theories, and even gave us some suggestions for the future for some other lighting and waterfall issues we had with our pool. He got to work and tested all of our pool equipment and plumbing and found the leak in the skimmer within an hour. He explained how he would repair it, gave us a quote, and after we approved the work, he told us his office would call to schedule the repair. One of the women in the office called us within an hour. (I wish I could remember her name.) She was extremely friendly and booked the first available appointment the following Thursday. It was the week following New Year's so they were pretty booked. We happily booked the appointment and then about an hour later got another call. The woman called back to say that Michael didn't want us to have to wait until Thursday (it was Friday) since we were losing so much water so he would come out on Sunday morning if we were available. What a pleasant surprise -- he added an appointment on his day off! Of course we booked him! He came out Sunday and was able to fix the leak in about 3 hours including the time it took to drain the pool below the skimmer. In addition to fixing the leak, he also ended up fixing a bathroom sink that was leaking (he had time while the pool was draining), and helped with a toilet that kept running. We were happy to be able to hire him on the spot to fix two items that were on our to do list. One stop shopping! What most people don't know is that they also do plumbing in addition to leak finding which was like hitting the jackpot. We now know exactly who to call for any future pool leaks or plumbing issues. We trust Michael and his company 100% and wholeheartedly recommend him! You won't regret it. Side note: he was fantastic with our dogs. If you have dogs, they'll love him! read more

Last week I called another company that specializes in finding leaks to see if they could locate the source of some moisture that seemed to be emanating from under my shower. However, right away it was clear the technician didn't know what he was doing. He kept calling into the office asking for advice on what to do, he didn't have the proper equipment in his truck (ie, no camera), and after telling me my sewer line had a major leak, he began explaining how they'd have to tear up the floor to find it. It scared us and fortunately I called Leak Finders to get a second opinion! Michael came out and took his time understanding the situation and then got right to work getting his camera down the shower drain (the previous company said there was no way to get a camera down there but he did). After checking it out visually he was pretty certain there wasn't a leak. So he then plugged off a section of pipe so he could fill the shower full of water to do a pressure test and sure enough, there wasn't a leak. He then tested the entire sewer line for the whole house and confirmed that was NO LEAK at all. He was very thorough, took his time making sure he did everything right, and explained what he was doing and all of his findings every step of the way. I was SO impressed!! I wish I had called them first! It would have saved me a week of stress not to mention the time I took off work for the first company to come out. On the bright side the other company is refunding me my money after I called them to explain what Leak Finders found. I highly recommend Leak Finders after this experience. They totally know what they're doing, are super professional, and I can't recommend them enough. If they can't find your leak, nobody can! read more

So ... after 3-4 years, 8+ pool plumbers, leak detection companies etc we FINALLY found leak finders. We had a super strange issue where pipes were incorrectly tied together under our concrete causing our hot tub not to function (FYI done by previous home owners). We tried everything to fix the issue and continually were told we would have to pull up 1000 sq ft of concrete to find the issue. First off their tech said if he couldn't find it and fix it there would be no charge. This was confidence we had not seen before. We had previously been charged 500.00+ just to look at the problem without any results. Bottom line, we are thrilled. He had to pull out a two foot section of our concrete and did it super clean. For the first time since moving into the house we have a functioning built in hot tub. Thanks so much!!! read more

I had an overwhelmingly positive experience with this company and would like to highly recommend them for your plumbing needs. My toilet and my garbage disposal stopped working and Michael was able to easily fix them without any headaches. He arrived on time, communicated with me clearly and the office manager also communicated with me extremely well. It's rare to find find a service company that can be available the same day and one that knows what they're doing. Thank you for making my life a bit easier this week read more

So glad I didn't settle for the first two pages when googling leak detectors. Leak Finders fit me in their schedule with 24 hours, and repaired our leak on the weekend because of the severity of our situation. The City of Folsom came out twice because neighbor had complained we were saturating their yard. This is without even any irrigation on during the two past days. The trickle on our driveway, we were once told by another Leak detection company, was a result of our neighbors up the hill watering their lawn.Hence, we weren't concerned when it trickled all day. Until the City came out and checked our water meter, and realized a leak was occurring somewhere and that we should repair it soon. Thank you Michael at Leak Finder, for your prompt, competent, professional and friendly service. read more

We have been chasing a leak in our pool for a few years now to no avail. Our experience with 2 other companies ended with money spent, repairs done, water still leaking and us tiring of the process and lack of a complete resolution. Recently the leak became much more significant and we had been recommended to Leak Finders. They were fantastic in every way! They acted in a trustworthy manner, they seemed to approach the situation with a fairness and value approach and most importantly, they found the leak and repaired it with minimum impact to our concrete patio (the leak was under it). I can't say enough about this company, Michael and the gal who handled the billing. read more

SO HAPPY WE CALLED! El Dorado water district came to our home to advise of VERY HIGH usage 7 X the normal. We just moved in April 2018. Michael from Leak Finders took our call after hours and came by first thing in the am. House full of kids and first day of school today- PANIC! Suffice it to say, he found the underground leak withing 40 minutes, isolated it to the pool auto-fill line and shut off the pool valve to get water back on within minutes. Outstanding service, exceptional customer service and walked through a number of options to repair when we are ready. No pressure sales pitch and very transparent through the entire process. I will be reaching out to my Realtor and neighbors in the NEXT DOOR APP and make sure they reach out to Leak Finders should they ever have a need! read more

Michael was able to come out promptly and arrived within the first 15 minutes of our window. He looked at the situation and then went to work. Michael with Leak Finders responded quickly to my request for a quote for a plumbing issue...he was first in the queue. The quote was fair compared to others. He arrived on time during the brief 2 hour window we agreed to. I found Michael to be professional, friendly, thorough and patient. He took his time explaining the original plumbing issue in addition to exploring options to correct another pipe leaking problem that recently occurred. As you know, integrity is necessary and critically important when hiring contractors to perform work on your home. I found Michael to be honest, which is what my profession has trained me for. What more can you ask for when dealing with a plumbing issue? Time response and scheduling, excellent communication, quick turnaround time, competitive price point and integrity in the service performed. I expect to have Leak Finders back in the near future for the other project mentioned earlier. I highly recommend this plumber/leak finder for your needs. Thank you for reading my review. read more

I am very pleased with Leak Finders. Michael found our swimming pool leak without much trouble and when an unexpected problem was encountered, he immediately remedied it without question. Who would have thought that we would need someone to find a leak in our water piping? Well we certainly didn't, but we turned to the internet to find someone to help. How fortunate we feel to have found Leak Finders. They were quick to respond to our immediate need to find our water leak. Michael our technician was on time, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He was passionate about helping us and solving our issue. He treated our situation like it was his house and was dedicated to finding an answer. He found our leak in short order and gave us peace of mind to know where our water was going. We can finally rest tonight now knowing! Thank you Leak Finders- we could not say enough great things about this company. In our opinion it should be your " go to" company. read more

We are currently renters and suspected a leak somewhere in our kitchen and the Landlord wouldn't help until it became "inhabitable" or something to prove it was our fault, so he didn't have to pay for repairs. Being a renter, we were not quite financially prepared for these types of issues. Decided to give Leak Finders a try in hopes of identifying the leak, so we can inform the landlord. Mike was there on a whim and within 15 mins...the source of the leak was found, as well as a diagnosis! Leak and cause found! Mike is a wealth of knowledge to the industry and saved us a lot of time, money and unneeded stress. Will definitely be using them again read more

Tried Calling them for two days. Left messages both times. NO RESPONSE. Not sure I believe the 5 star reviews.

We hired Leak Finders to locate a slab leak for us at a customers house. During a remodel we suspected the house may have a water line leaking under the slab. Not only did Mike pin point the leak he was also able to tell us exactly where the manifolds would be in the walls saving us a ton of time. I can't thank them enough for not only nailing the slab leak and manifolds but also their quick response time and great customer service, all at a fair price. I've hired other leak location companies in the past but will always have Mike on speed dial for the future. read more

Casey was super nice on the phone and they showed up on time. Michael found a water leak in my sprinkler system on the first visit and true to their word, he came out a 2nd time at no cost when that didn't stop the water leak completely. He found another slow leak in our pool equipment and another leak in the recently repaired sprinkler valve. Michael was very kind and professional in person, even though the second trip was due to "Pilot Error" in the original sprinkler repair that I had done. Thank You Leak Finders! read more

We had a gas leak in our home identified by PG&E, who then turned off our gas. I needed someone to find the leak and fix it quickly. Mike always provides superb, professional service.
