Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with this company's service nor their customer service. They…read morecontracted with a company to complete my radon test and it took the company 2 and a half weeks to get the radon report back to me. Only after I called their corporate office in Illinois was there any real concern. I had contacted the inspector who did my initial inspector from BrickKicker and instead of finding my report and getting it to me, his response was, "Sorry for the delay on the radon results, Certified Radon is company that performed the test. They can be reached at 816-587-3500. It is after hours now, so I cannot contact them. You may check your Spam folder to make sure they didn't get thrown in there. Have a great weekend!!." Clearly, this was passing the buck from him to me, as my check had already cleared. I thought the inspector's response lacked any type of true customer service, so I tried to follow up giving him the benefit of the doubt, a few days later, and never received a response. When I called the radon company directly to get my report, they stated that there was no direct contact information other than Brick Kicker and that they had sent the report two days after the initial inspection. Thus, Brick Kicker sat on the report two full weeks with letter regard to my closing timeline. Needless to say, when I had received my report, my contractual inspection period had lapsed. Their overall inspection report was thick, but seemed to be lacking home specific information and one portion of the inspection that drove me crazy was the fact that the inspector stated the observation method chosen, "ground level: the roof was not walked. However, it was partially viewed from the ground. Possible injury to the inspector due to difficult access or damage to the roofing materials precluded walking on the roof. The roof was not walked on and the evaluation is limited." I could have saved the money and stood in my yard and seen the missing shingles..needless to say, the report seemed very boilerplated. When I shared this situation to the supervisor about the lack of customer service of his employee, he stated, "sorry, would you like my bosses number." I am not sure what to expect as I am a first time home buyer, but I know that this company had little to no customer service skills and cares only about being paid to consider this job complete.

As a Kansas city realtor, the inspector I recommend reflects directly on my business, and Steve has always taken incredible care of the people I send his way. My clients frequently comment not only on how thorough and knowledgeable he is, but also on what a genuinely kind and personable person he is. Over the years, he has gone above and beyond in many situations . whether it's accommodating scheduling challenges, helping navigate unexpected issues with a property, or simply taking extra time to make sure my clients truly understand the condition of their home. One thing my clients consistently mention is how comfortable Steve makes them feel. He takes the time to talk with them, answer questions, and connect on a human level, not just rush through the inspection. Many of them walk away saying, "He was such a nice guy." That matters to me because there has to be trust and connection between the inspector and the client. Steve brings both professionalism and warmth to every inspection. I recommend him not only to my clients but also to other real estate agents. If you want someone who is knowledgeable, reliable, and truly cares about the people he serves Steve is your guy.
