Super happy with our new yard. Emailed for a quote and promptly had an appointment scheduled for our yard to be measured. Within a business day we received our custom quote for removal of old "grass" (it was mostly weeds), leveling (extra service that we requested due to unevenness of our yard) and sod install. We moved forward with scheduling the next available date. The crew arrived promptly (a bit early even!) and worked quickly. They did actually run out of sod when the job was about 95% done and had to run and get more. They were back quickly and finished the job. After finishing they even took the time to clean up (hosing off the sidewalks and clearing dirt). Later the same day I was emailed my care instructions for our new sod. It's been 3 weeks now and we have the prettiest, lushest lawn we've ever had! They were prompt in every email response, friendly and efficient on site. Would highly recommend! read more

A fantastic job. Removed a large swimming pool from our yard last year. Not only did we need new sod, tons of sand had to be removed and the yard had to be leveled. Priscilla was out for a quote within a few days of contact. Pricing was great. Her team arrived promptly the day the work was scheduled and were very professional throughout installation process. Sand was hauled out, yard leveled, top soil added where required, and new sod brought in. After two days yard and all sidewalks were cleaned up. No mess. The work was great. I talked to Priscilla over the phone to explain my lawn card needs. Nothing out of the ordinary. Weekly mowing, fertilization, aerating, and repair of dead spots with either new sod or seed. She agreed to come out the following Monday to look at the lawn, take measurements, and prepare a quote. Monday came around, no call, or visit from Priscilla. I then called, emailed, and texted over the next few days, and nothing. Not a single reply. If you don't want to take on the work, just say so. These guys are FANTASTIC. I'd give them more stars if I could. We had them lay sod in our yard, put down some bricks, remove some old bushes, install a trim piece for the garden area, and a general spring clean up. Their price was by far the best we got and they did great work. Victor came when he said he would and worked hard. And they actually communicate with you! (We've had bad experiences with other landscapers who don't get back to you). Victor's wife Priscilla runs the office and is very responsive and gives updates on weather and the planned schedule. Very good customer service and really easy to work with. Priscilla provided us with a timely estimate and Victor completed the job in one day. We had really bad and hardened soil, due to the fact that there were (2) arbor vitae trees there previously (which we had cut down). This company was a pleasure to work. We had them redo our entire yard and the side of the house. They removed all the previous sod and leveled the yard and placed new sod down. All done perfectly and the grass looks great. Also had them put down decorative rocks and pavers on the side of the garage and the side of the house and everything turned out great. Victor and his crew worked hard and did a great job. Priscilla was very prompt with responding by email right from the beginning with getting a quote all the way through the entire process with letting us know when to expect them to start and finish the work. I would definitely recommend giving these guys a call and having them do your landscaping, I don't think there is an easier company to work with honesty and they do a tremendous job. Last October, I began calling snow removal companies in hopes that I could lock one down before the winter began. Little did I realize that most companies book up during the summer, and those that did have availability were charging ridiculous retainers for the winter - regardless of how many times they actually come out. That's when I called Midwest Plains. They were very responsive, only charge if they come out to remove snow, and always arrived within a few hours of when the snow stopped. They were fabulous, so we also hired them to do spring cleaning in our beds and front lawn. Again, they are very reasonably priced and great communicators. This company is just OK in my opinion. Priscilla was very pleasant and professional upon first meeting and provided an estimate in the rain, which was appreciated, but there was poor communication after that. They did about 30 minutes of yard spring clean up and grass seeding and charged me a lot more than what they'd estimated. They also missed other things that were in their quote. After I pointed this out, I was reprimanded for changing the work order. I had to point out through photos that I didn't change anything but that they didn't do what they'd written in their quote. They came back out to finish but I'm sorry to say I probably won't use again. I also had a follow up question a week or so later about whether they'd planted grass seed or not (this was on the quote) and I never did hear back. They are polite though, just way too expensive for such a small amount of work and not attentive enough. read more

If I could give them 10 stars I would - they did THAT great of a job. When we bought our home, we inherited a mess of weeds we could not tame ourselves - our lawn was a literal jungle, and we were also attempting to get rid of a ton of river rocks that the previous owner had placed years before. We had gotten a couple of quotes before and were prepared to be sticker shocked. They not only came at a reasonable price, but we had such a great feeling about the team, we decided to even do a bigger project than anticipated. They were timely, and constantly on the go strenuously working, no matter what the hot temperature was. They finished the work in about 3.5 - 4 days and we are more than pleased with the work they did. They also put in fencing, so I will be calling them again when we are ready for our fence project. I cannot say enough good things about their team, their demeanor, and their work. I would use them again and will call them as soon as I have another project! read more

I can't say enough good things about this company. They responded to my inquiry for a quote in minutes - literally, minutes. Then their quote was by far the most reasonable we got out of 5 other companies and included all labor, mulch, sod, AND disposal of materials (of which included a ton of those stupid river rocks). Victor and Xavi worked tirelessly and did a great job. It was just the two of them out there doing everything and they didn't cut any corners - in fact they went above and beyond what I expected - on top of being some of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Their company is just the three people: husband and wife team of Victor and Priscilla and their friend Xavi, so you know they have a vested interest in everything being completed to a very high level of quality and you also don't have to worry about any middle men mixing up the project specs. They turned our weedy mess of a rocky yard into a clean-cut green area that we're very proud of and get lots of compliments on from the neighbors.
