Around…read more6:30 AM, while driving to work in cold rain, multiple malfunction lights suddenly came on in my car and I had to pull over. I first contacted the manufacturer's roadside assistance, but after more than three hours of constantly changing ETAs, I cancelled and called my insurance roadside assistance instead. Thankfully, Keen's Towing & Hauling accepted the request. They actually arrived about 30 minutes earlier than the estimated time, which was such a relief. By then it had started snowing, and my car wasn't drivable, so the driver had to do all the work to safely load it onto the truck. He handled everything calmly, efficiently, and professionally despite the weather. What started as a very stressful morning turned into a smooth experience thanks to his professionalism and kindness. My car was delivered safely to the dealer exactly where I needed it. I truly appreciate the help and highly recommend Keen's Towing & Hauling. Thank you again for taking such great care of me today!

He tried to convince me and my mother it was $500 for a tow from front Royal to Winchester. and then refused to take my car off the tow truck without paying $500. We eventually gave in and had him tow my car to his lot in front Royal and when I called him to get the address he said it was still $500 even though he didn't even tow it to Winchester. Long story short my Family member decided to go get the car and tow it himself. We ended up paying $200 I'm not sure where the $500 estimate came from and why we were told that price he was very rude and tried to scam us! I was relieved when my car was no longer at his lot!

Rick , the owner his wife and all of the employees have been extremely polite to us, upfront, and very honest. They tell you what you need and you can make your own decision as to what you want done. They also provide a wonderful sitting area that is like sitting in your own home watching TV with comfortable furniture, coffee, and whatever else you care to drink I suggest that you try them for yourself and make your own decision. I have been in the auto body business growing up, and I do know good quality workmanship, and this is what they provide.

And he charges six times more than the other mechanics in town. I needed a Throttle Position Sensor replaced. I knew this because Auto Zone had run a scan (free). I left the car with him and a few hours later he called and said I needed a Throttle Body. But I had told him that two Throttle Bodies had been tried and did not fix the problem. He talked me into doing it anyway, because afterall he had better sources. He said if this did not fix the problem, I would have to pay the $425 labor charge. Overnight I realized he did not say anything about the sensor. I called him. He said that it did not show up on the scan. I asked if couldn't install it anyway making less labor than having to take the Trottle Body out later to do it. First he said no, and then said he would if it looked like it was needed. I had second thoughts about all of this. I went back to this shop the next day and said I wanted to pick up my car. He was furious. Said I would have to pay for the Throttle Body, even though he had not receive it yet. I reminded him that he had said he could return it. His response was he could only return it if it was defected. That is not what he had said. He had said he could return if it did not fix the problem. He kept arguing about this. So I said I would this police, punched in 91 and said 'okay, you do not have to pay for the part.' He printed out what labor had been done. And there on his printout was 'Throttle Position Sensor defective.' Do you see? He was going to install the Throttle Body and say he did not work but I had to pay $425 for the labor. By the way, the first two times this had been done the labor charge was $75. So I ended up paying $88 for the same scan Auto Zone had done for free. And yes, there is proof that a simple scan was run, not a Diagnostic Test. I went immediately to Auto Zone, they ran another scan and Rick's scan was recorded. Rick also charged me $20 for a relay that retails for $5-$10. And he charged $60 labor to replace it. The labor time to do this is at maximum 2 minutes. That includes: unlock car door, flip hood release, lift hood, open top of box that is sitting at hood level, pull out relay and plug in new relay. So do not go there, do not ever trust this guy. (By the way, I am a 78 year old, female with gray hair.) Nice guy, right?

I am speaking from personal experience and I have to say this towing "company" is the most…read moreunprofessional I have ever had the misfortune of having to deal with. I had to go to the actual building one time to talk to someone in person because every time i would call on the phone they would tell me "we are busy call later", but when I walked in the business less than 10 mins later this young girl about 15 years old was sitting behind the desk with a newborn baby. Guess she was busy, but it was her personal life that kept her from customers. Anyway, when I asked very nicely to speak with the owner she said "You have no business speaking with him and I won't let you" Come to find out she is the owners daughter who just needs an attitude check. So after being extremely persistent i was able to talk to the owner on the phone and all he had to say to me was, "leave my property" wow he has just as bad of an attitude as his daughter. Wonder where she gets it from?? HA HA kidding I already know. So in the end I got absolutely nothing accomplished with either the daughter or the owner. They run a horrible business with no customer service related skills what so ever, I'd rather sit in a ditch and freeze than to ever call that company for help! They are never going to get my money!
