He seemed enthusiastic and proud of the food he delivers. He could probably publish a recipe book. His pizza is absolutely delicious. Light, fluffy, fresh veggies -- honestly words don't do it justice. I ordered The Great White Pizza. It tasted delicious hot, cold, reheated. Not greasy, or heavy on the stomach. Like it doesn't belong in the pizza group - more gourmet. And I had no idea this place was around the corner from my former pizza spot -- where they overcharged me and insulted me (in another language) -- I haven't been back there since. So happy I discovered Cardano's, and can't wait to taste more to the menu.

It's a relatively new place inside a pretty distinct fenced in lot. Feels like the kind of place you'd to go buy cinder blocks. Good NY style pizza though. We really liked both the pepperoni and the buffalo chicken. They have the crispy/soggy ratio down which for some reason always makes me want to load mine up with shakers. The buffalo chicken uses big pieces of tenders in buffalo sauce. We liked that they loaded the wing sauce up with minced garlic. Great sauce and good sized wings. The Philly didn't have much going on. Not a lot of taste, just some standard ingredients on a pretty chewy bun. I would come back for pizza and wings any time. But if I've got the whole city to pick from, or even more than just an area/neighborhood, I just can't imagine saying "It HAS to be Cardano's".

Poundtown Burger Bar has officially birthed a brand new sibling, bringing its famous smashburgers…read moreto the Aldi Plaza in Cicero! Cicero, NY welcomes Poundtown, newly opened in the Aldi Plaza (5962 Rt. 31) near CNS High School, and it is definitely worth a visit. It's easy to drive right by this plaza and never know this treasure is there, but don't miss it! I ordered the Double Trouble Smash Burger with cheese ($15), and it was incredibly tasty. The patties had that perfect crispy edge you want in a great smash burger. It was served on a wonderfully soft roll and loaded with perfectly melted cheese, fat pickle slices, and sweet caramelized onions. You get a choice of signature sauces (Classic or Classic with a Cajun kick)--I chose the Classic, and it was delicious! My burger came paired with a generous side of crispy, fresh, hand-cut fries. Turnaround time from counter ordering to table delivery was remarkably brief. While the signature burgers range from $16-$18, they have at least 10 different burgers on the menu alongside plenty of other options. You can find chicken, mac bowls, salad bowls, and loaded fries ($8-$10). A friend of mine who was eating there at the same time highly recommends the onion rings, too! Unexpected Plus: When I entered the cozy space, I was delighted to discover that Pound Town shares its location with Big Fellas Hibachi & Tacos and they serve a multi-page menu of delights including tacos, burritos, egg rolls, wings, and even steak or lamb plates! Definitely looking forward to sampling their menu soon. Regardless of which vendor you are visiting, the cozy room has a few booths for dining-in, even though the setup seems primarily geared for takeout. The quality of the food, the diverse variety, and the convenient location make this a absolute must-try spot. I will definitely be back! P.S. Sorry for no pictures! I was really hungry and the burger looked so good that the photo completely slipped my mind!

I think what makes these so good is their attention to detail even down to the fresh bread they make sure you get. They ask you specifically what you want on it and they don't mess up. They even make sure that these are fried to perfection before they serve them.

I can confidently say the chicken was delicious & was certainly crispy when they made it. Unfortunately by the time we got home (maybe 15 minutes away) the chicken & fries had to be put in the air fryer to get their crisp back because of the condensation since the food was packaged so hot. I didn't care for the macaroni salad as it was more mayo than flavor. The chicken was well seasoned however & if we stop by again we would probably just order that.

I wanted to try the calzone because it's been a long time since I had one and I was craving it. I was really hungry and chose the giant one knowing I would have leftovers. Boy did I have leftovers!!! The thing was HUGE!! The crust was crisp and the filling was substantial (I had sausage, peppers and onions with mozzarella and ricotta). The price was really fair for what I got, soda and giant calzone with extra toppings for $24.00. My friend got a chicken wrap and said that was excellent also. The owner waited on us and he was really friendly and has been in business here for 5 years. Give this place a try, you won't be sorry!
