Their breakfast burrito is so delicious! It's a great portion and only $5. The lunch specials are good too.

Or for there, you can order on the kiosk or with the counter cashier. Food and coffee orders were amazing. Such great flavors and large portions. We would come back again if we were in the area. Pricing is not cheap but we think it's worth it. Loco moco with Kim chi?!?! Never had this combo before and will need to have it again. Longanesa egg sandwich, I want to have that every day. The flavor combo was soo good that it's been a week since I had it, I want it again. Recommend for sure!

The matcha itself was great, the taste was earthy and not bitter. I downed my drink faster than I'd care to admit. The egg cream coffee was unique and yummy, definitely strong! The banana flavor paired surprisingly well with the matcha and made for a really refreshing drink. It was one of those drinks that I immediately knew I'd order again. But honestly, the highlight wasn't even the drink itself. It was the adorable little elephant vessel it came with. They put dry ice inside and then pour water into it, making it look like the elephant is blowing smoke out of its trunk. My daughter was completely mesmerized. Watching her reaction was worth the visit all by itself. What I loved most was that it wasn't just a gimmick. The drink was actually good, and the elephant made such a cute keepsake afterward. It felt like getting both a treat and a souvenir. The café itself had a fun atmosphere, and it was one of those places that felt a little different from your typical coffee or tea stop. Helpful tip: If it's your first visit, order one of the drinks served in the elephant. The presentation alone is worth it, especially if you're visiting with kids. Between the banana matcha and my daughter's excitement over the smoking elephant, this ended up being one of those unexpectedly memorable stops we'll be talking about for a while.

From the moment we walked in, I noticed all the little details that made the space feel so inviting, like lots of plants, good music, and a cozy atmosphere that made me want to stay awhile (which, we did). The coffee was excellent, and I have to mention the chocolate croissant because it was easily one of the most chocolate-filled croissants I've had in a long time. So good! Another thing I appreciated was how spacious it was. There were plenty of tables and room to spread out, which was perfect since I came with my kiddo. She loved the open space and even turned it into her own little dance floor while I enjoyed my coffee for a bit. Honestly my first thoughts were, "why is there a car in here?" but Im sure car enthusiasts would fancy seeing a luxurious prestige vehicle in a cafe and everyone else would find it interesting as it is unusual for a cafe to just have a car right in the middle of its establishment. Their menu isnt overwhelming and only has a few selections, theres good pastries to try out as well. Coffee was alright and the pastries were ok, overall I guess I was just more distracted by the business's set pieces. In any case, check the place out, parking can be a pain if it gets busy, typical downtown sac. Issues.

Food (4/5): We tried the Ube French Toast, Shrimp Noodle Salad, and the Longanisa Sando. The Ube French Toast is definitely worth ordering--the ube flavor is rich without being overly sweet. I do miss the older version with the ube cream though; I thought it was even better. The toast itself is a little on the oily side since it's fried, but the flavor is still delicious. The Shrimp Noodle Salad is refreshing and well-balanced with a nice kick from the chili crisp, although I wish the portion were a bit bigger for the price. My favorite was the Longanisa Sando. The Filipino sweet pork sausage patty is juicy and flavorful, and the combination with the egg, banana ketchup, and jalapeño sauce works really well. Atmosphere (5/5): The café has a fun, modern, and chill vibe. It's a great spot to catch up with friends, work on a laptop, or enjoy a relaxed brunch. The overall aesthetic is bright and inviting. Service (4/5): It's mostly a self-service café, and ordering is straightforward. Food comes out at a reasonable pace. Cleanliness (2.5/5): This is the biggest area that needs improvement. Even though it's self-serve, I still expect the dining area to be kept clean. During my visit, the tables weren't wiped down promptly, and the floor could definitely use more attention. A cleaner dining space would make the overall experience much more enjoyable. Value (3.5/5): Prices are on the expensive side for a brunch café. The food is creative, though some dishes, like the Shrimp Noodle Salad, could be a little more generous in portion size. Overall, Forever by 18 Grams is a unique brunch spot with creative Asian fusion dishes and a fun atmosphere.

So growing up I remember whenever we would go to a local fast food joint and get a breakfast…read moresandwich-it was always a good experience. Funny thing is that years later when I had kids, none of them really loved breakfast sandwiches, so there was a long window of time when I just didn't eat them very much. Now of course they are adults and their palates have finally developed and they love breakfast sandwiches as much as I do, though now they prefer the fancy ones vs the cheap ones I grew up on. That brings us to Camellia Coffee Roasters. Just about every foodie person I respect or ranking article I came across on the subject always ranked this shop as a top 2 or 3 spot for breakfast sandwiches in the Sacramento-area.So you know I had to try em out. They are located in the historic R street district of Sacramento. They have their own parking lot, so parking is a breeze. Walking up to the shop they have both inside and outside tables for customers to enjoy their coffee and food. Both times I went to this shop there was a pretty good line to place an order and the line doesn't move too quickly but it's a pleasant environment-so it's not too bad to deal with. They do offer coffee and specialty drinks at their location-both times I ordered a hot mocha($7.00) Breakfast sandwiches here usually run around $13.50 and with that you get one item, either bacon, sausage or veggie and for $2.00 each you can add on additional items. So yes these sandwiches can get pretty pricey pretty fast. One of my visits, I also got a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese.($5.00) Here are some of the breakfast sandwiches we've tried: -a breakfast sandwich with bacon-sausage-veggie -a breakfast sandwich with bacon and veggie -a breakfast sandwich with bacon and chili verde pork Let's talk about em. First off the coffee is pretty good-solid mocha-had it twice and wouldn't hesitate to have it a third time-I liked it. My favorite breakfast sandwich is kind of obvious-the one with bacon-sausage and veggie. It truly was just made so perfect, the bread was so soft and pillowy with a great chew. The eggs were made so well, great texture, great flavor and it was the perfect amount where it didn't overwhelm the sandwich yet filled you up where you felt you were having a decent meal. The bacon, sausage, veggie combo might be too much for some but as a bonafide foodie who lives for awesome culinary experiences-this was the right combo-every bite was great and it was a bummer when it was gone. My second favorite was just the bacon and veggie-a lot of the same reasons, minus the extra benefit from the sausage, but still a truly standout sandwich. Here's the thing, the chili verde pork version was a weekend special and I mean no disrespect having it third ranked because it was an incredible dish, if those other two didn't exist, I would be screaming from the mountain tops telling others how great this was, but the other versions exist so this one's third. Overall, Camellias is a very special place serving a very special dish and we are lucky that a place like this exists in our city and I can say without a doubt that this is my favorite breakfast sandwich shop in Sacramento at this time.
