Horrible units and customer service. Roof leaking and holes in unit. Basic up keep of the property is a disgrace. Filthy and full of bugs. No sense of security as the gate is constantly left open throughout the day and through the night. Often times people are just roaming around the property and we're using it as a mechanic workshop. BE AWARE, YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS ARE NOT SAFE HERE. Our belongings were stolen, we were treated very poorly by management and the insurance we were paying for is a complete SCAM. We rented a unit from Midgard in Naples FL for 4 months. We requested to vacate the unit and when we went to empty it out, we unpleasantly discovered that all of our boxes and goods were gone. When I reported the incident to the store manager (Sandra Bair), she handled the situation very poorly, instead, she was questioning and almost accusing me of lying about the incident. I contacted the local authorities and a police officer immediately arrived on site, Sandra was also trying hard to convince the police and myself that theft never happens at that location (I've been talking to detectives as well as the sheriff's office and all assured me that this type of incident happened several times in the past). Then we contacted corporate and exchanged a few emails with Phil Mikel, who made no effort to help us. We requested video footage and he refused to release them and claims the data is only stored for up to 2 weeks. We also had insurance coverage which we learned later on it's nothing but a marketing ploy, when we submitted a claim to get reimbursed for the loss caused by Midgard, they denied it as they found no evidence for theft. This was 100% an inside job by Midgard employees and I still have an ongoing investigation on this matter. Do NOT get fooled by the security systems they claim to have (the gates, the security cameras will absolutely do you NO FAVORS should a robbery happen to you). read more

We reserved a truck, provided payment and spoke 3 times with the manager/owner to ensure a smooth transition. When we arrived at the agreed upon time there was no truck, no attendant, no returned phone calls or texts. The owner/manager never called to apologize or explain. read more

we have rented vans/trucks here many times and have been pleased but this time my temporarily and partially disabled grandfather and I rented a van to transport some items from a storage shed, Josh has been great but the van is not very handicapped friendly. along with that the system was not working and we had to wait an hour before the van was given to us. also, the online scheduling system was very messed up, we scheduled to get the van at 2:30 and we arrived about 2:20 then we did not get into the van until about 3:20 and we scheduled to rent it 2:30 on 2/20/20 to 2:30 on 2/22/20 and we got a text message at about at 1:27 saying we had to return the van immediately or we would be charged late fees because of an online scheduling. we immediately called and Josh told us it would be fine to have it back by 2:30. nothing against Josh he was great but just the van and the company's online system. read more
