I repaired the dresser and sent an invoice. When I called the 3rd time about the overdue invoice (due on 11/1/21), they stated they had never received it. My records show that it was viewed 16 times at that time (total of 21 times as of 2/11/22). * I called them and spoke to the "answering service" who promised to have the claims person contact me that day (1/24/22). I called on 1/26/22 after receiving no return call and was sent straight to voicemail (and the next 6 times I called from my business phone). * On 2/3/22, I left a negative review early in the morning. I called from my business phone and went straight to voicemail. I called from a separate line 1 minute later and they picked up right away. The "answering service" stated that she had spoken to the owner and a check would be cut and mailed that day. * The "answering service" called me later and said they would pay me only if I removed the negative review. She was very upset and apparently not noticed the review I had left during our earlier conversation. She also threatened to have "all 200 employees" leave negative reviews for my business based solely on me having left a negative review and continuing to want to be paid for work they contracted me to do. What I am sure she was not aware of was that she was on speakerphone at my customer's residence, and that my customer that day is a Federal Judge. The advice from my customer following the phone conversation was enlightening and invaluable. Thank goodness for good people... * Bottom line, Mov2day damaged an irreplaceable item, contracted my disabled veteran owned small business to do repairs, refused to pay, then threatened to defame my business. * The damage done by Mov2day was to the very rare Eastlake sidelocker. They used packing tape directly on the finish, destroyed a rare knight drop bail pull, and broke pieces of trim off.

I need to write this review because I am moving again and I look back to what happened when I hired…read morethem for my last move. I had a good budget for my move and coordinated all my things to be as efficient as possible. However organized I was it didn't seem to matter. I felt like the guys were hired off the street with no experience. All fragile boxes where clearly marked with 8 1/2 x 11 sheets in BOLD. They stacked heavy boxes on these and damaged a couple of things. Not terrible because I expect some things to get damaged in the move. What pissed me off is that they threw boxes on top of my lamp shades and crushed a couple of them. They literally tossed boxes in a moving cart. Keep in mind all things were clearly organized by what was heavy and fragile. Since I was on the 4th floor, their use of the elevator was terribly inefficient. I found guys hanging around waiting for the elevator and when it would arrive they would load it with only a few boxes. This clearly added to the hourly rate by about 2 hrs. Once everything was delivered to the new place boxes were not placed where they should have been even though all rooms and boxes were clearly labeled with signs and what went where. To make things worse I realized that they had taken all of my packing supplies like tape guns, tape AND they took my bag of tools which included hammers, pliers, screw driver, drill etc. All of the basics you would need in a residence. Really??? You were in such a disarray you stole a clients tool bag???? I'm very disappointed with this company. I paid almost $1,000 for the move and expected a higher quality move. Needless to say I don't recommend this company for a large move. If you're doing 1 item here and there then they're okay. AND I still tipped the guys extra. I shouldn't have.
