B) there were still plenty of open units so that supply n demand excuse is a scam. Then I find a cheaper place so I'm clearing out my two units and I tell them several days in advance that I will be out ON the first. At 630 pm the evening before the first they leave me a message saying that if my locks are still on my units when they go in in the morning that they will be charging me for a full month of rent even tho I said I'd be out ON that day. Now I understand if the place was full and someone needed to start moving in that morning but there were 7 available units available in the same size. With the slogan that says "we treat your stuff like our stuff" to me this showed me a lack of integrity and is very unprofessional. This isn't just me, my girlfriend has a unit there as well.. started at $143 a month, after 3 months they raised it to 199 and now at one year they want to bump it up to $270! Needless to say we will be pulling her stuff out from there as well. Bottom line... do not use public storage they suck you in and rip you off.
